Lack of self awareness

The lack of self awareness Dev and ishuwari have.

It genuinely blows my mind how these two can never see their wrong. They can never reflect on their actions. Matlab atleast make a list of all the wrongs you guys have done to each person because it's a lot. They have a serious case of main character syndrome. (Where you think you the most important person and noone else matters)

Neha and ria don't even visit Dixit house. Even on raakhi. Whereas Saurabh and Sona talk problems out. Ishuwari did something seriously wrong that her daughters don't bother with her at all. And she's the least worried about that. Never even seen her call the other 3.

Dev on how bijoy only judges him. Bhaiya Aapne konse mahan kaam kiye Hain Apne father in law ke liye. You slapped him, you didn't save his lifetime JAMA punji his house. Apparently Dev wasn't even there when ASHA passed. Toh what has Dev done for bijoy.

Sonakshi has saved ishu from the whole khatri matter. She was her nutritionist and even after marriage took care of her. If ishuwari can't accept sonakshi even now how on earth Dev expects bijoy to accept him . (If I was related to sonakshi I wouldn't accept Dev like ever)

Ayush and Soha keep telling their feelings to Dev and he doesn't understand. It's like it doesn't even reach his brain.

Ishuwari thinks Dev is hira husband because he took care of kids for few months.

Ishuwari looks down on bijoy as if he is bad. Aankhe kholo toh Zara pata chalega how he is the best father , a much much better husband and a so much better father in law. (Only one moment ishu realised how well bijoy treats ronita when bijoy said "ronita ki sirf ek cheez nhi Pasand uska husband" and laughed. )

Ishuwari still believes she did right despite, mamaji, Sona, Dev aayush and even Soha being against her. Behen itna confidence Kahan se laati ho. Considering her past track record of terrible relationships with her son (yes she manipulates him made him loose the love of his life, than his daughter) her daughters that she still doesn't build the bond with, her daughter in law , her poti now , her samdhis.

saurabh started a buisness, dev saw the company in the market gave money to saurabh 5 crores. without telling his maa.

maa comes to know. dev and sona were forced to go to a vacay to conceive a kid.(lol thats another issue dev hid sona's infertility and when it came out ishu blamed sona for corrupting dev and asked her to try the fullest to conceive, dev was like haanji chalo, sonakshi was obviously distraught because she genuinely wanted kids and everyone was making her feel like she was less than )

okay back to topic. bijoy asha came to receive dev and sona. mamiji started calling bijoy chor, and saurabh useless. bijoy got angry. ishu taunted bijoy how their family could do such a thing. use dev. after extreme pressure dev said he was not coerced to do so.

ishu ma falls down (mera beta mera na rha, usne behno ka nhi socha ((lol aaj tak toh socha nhi behno ke baare me))

dev consoling her whilst mamiji calling bijoy names, bijoy comes to dev to stop mamiji, dev turns to shut bijoy and ends up slapping him.

sona leaves.

bijoy cries in asha's lap, genuinely hurt.

dev goes with mithai to apologize touches bijoy's feet. bijoy throws mithai (i mean obviously)

sona returns few days later with 5 crore, leasing their house.ishuwari is like haw mere muh par paise daal rhi. dev screams at sona, in fight dev pushes sona and ishu was behind her so ishu falls. dev tells sonakshi to leave.

honestly this show was good for 200 episodes. wahan tak its fine baad me its terrible.

So it seems like a Dev problem..he forgot or didn't want to tell his mom about the money he lent. Going by this season I'm sure that the maa could not digest the fact that her son hid something from her. So the only possible solution is that he was manipulated into doing that(the master of manipulation thinking this...the irony)

I agree to this 100%. Everything about Dev and Ishwari is about them or each other, they think of each other as each other's extension. I still remember one of the episodes in which Nikki goes to a party and when she was apologizing to Dev he said and I quote" agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh main maa ko kya jawab deta". I mean buddy you claim to love your sister like a daughter and you were worried about your mother's reaction over your sister's safety. It felt like he only cared about Nikki because Maa wanted it.

Dixit siblings have no real love or connection between them.

She'd not come to his house one day and he would grow worried etc.

Bijoy and him bonded well kinda well enough. And he respected the Bose family.

He broke up because he thought ishu tried to commit suicide because of him and Sona.

He wasn't amazing but he wasn't irredeemable.

They don't. Knew this from episode 1 when noone understood neha.

But that must've happened with all the characters.

So maybe the writer wanted Dev to be like this only.

We can't challenge a writer's thought process tbh. These characters are their creations.

I just don't like the inconsistency bas..this show has changed writers 3-4 times and har time it's noticeable because Dev changes lol.
