Yeah I agree that Dixit siblings have no real bonding with each other. Such is Ishwari's upbringing.

But regarding the wedding, I won't blame Dev for not attending. That is really height, he lost the love of his life, betrayed by his mother whom he worshipped, he was completely heartbroken and depressed. And what did his sisters do? Did they stand by him, console him, try to help him out? No, nothing. He had stood by them all his life and the one time he was going through a tough phase, none of them could be bothered.

Did they show that the sister's didn't try to comfort him? Haven't seen those episodes so not sure. I do remember them mentioning that whenever they asked for help, Dev would only offer them money but I want to know whether they tried to help.

I agree. It was basically Dev giving them all their materialistic needs and the sisters doing Dev Bhaiyya in return. I didn't even see too much connection between the daughters and Ishwari tbvh. The only thing I'm curious about is whether the three sister's were close considering that Neha brought them up.

They themselves admit that when he needed them they weren't there for him. Riya realizes it first and explains it to Nikki, how they keep questioning what he did for them, but never ask themselves what they did for their older brother.

Ishwari also makes them realize that when Dev's marriage broke, no one was there for him. Nikki also apologizes to him, that she should have been there when he needed that support. Nikki tells Sona how depressed he was once she left and how he just quit everything.

Neha does nothing of the sort, there is only an awkward reunion between where she just asks why he didn't come to see her. That's it.

Of course, Dev thinks that he should have been there, taken care of his sisters and feels guilty. That's not surprising. Dev feels guilty constantly when it comes to his mother and family. But he just wasn't in the state at the time, as he tells Sona. "Mujhse nahi ho paya". Responsibility and guilt are the legacies that Ishwari has passed on to him.
