Sonakshi needs to take a firm stand for Ayush - Page 3

honestly this season is a repeat of the first with dev but like if first season was on meth. he's somehow worse, ishwari is somehow creepier where her kkkkdev has extended to his kids and sona still being there recognising those 100 year old same patterns make her seem silly or like a sadist. how has she not left him permanently? i hope they dont make krpkab season 4 and ends this with sona and dev permanently divorcing and setting a good example for society. else they will keep churning seasons out till one of sharica become ugly. 😳 😳 😳

I liked season 2, dev had even though not repented or groveled much but he had become more of a good partner, understanding and trusting.

But this season is like sonakshi is stuck in a toxic relationship. she fell for him when she saw him take care of her, not with this toxic af dude who never listens.

soz hon! i didnt mean he chooses between his own family or sona's. i meant he chooses between his own family members as to who are more important- between sona/her family and his mother and now between kids. he always struggles with having to choose but he always chooses to take a side. unfortunately that not how you resolve conflicts in a family. thats how business works.

In one episode, Dev tells Sonakshi about how he tries to keep everyone in his family happy, but fails, because someone or the other gets hurt. He tells her how hard it is, because in the family, they are all "apne" whereas it's a lot easier in business, where he doesn't have to consider feelings and can simply take a decision.

So yes, he understands that quite well.

As I said, I won't consider this current Dev at all, because he is not the same. This current Dev is cracking sexist jokes, turning up volume when Sona is talking, and asking her why she needed to visit her family. Sorry, the writers have zero idea who Dev Dixit is.

Before Dev used give lot of love within bedroom🙈😆. Now even that is not there..😡

did he? half the time toh ma or mami would only interrupt. but ok- idk if thats something unique to him though- not the weird mother, that was def unique to him...i hope. i mean besides the attraction he doesn't seem to be offering much else. sad

He did took care of her apart from attraction. Like diwali night when sona burnt her legs, he took care of her. He suggested her to join job as he don't wanted other ladies mess with her. But his weakness is mother. When she comes into picture nothing matters. He thinks he owes her and expect sona too behave same. Like after revealing sona cannot consume, sona broke down. He consoled her saying they both are enough to live. But next day with his mom pressure he took her to hospital n shimla for mission baby. Problem with him is he cannot stand for right or wrong with his mother. Now his mother showering love to ayush, automatically his mind set to pour love ayush. It is like his mind is fixed by esh, n automatically drives how esh thinks. But this is wrong. We cannot justify saying it is his weakness. This action is not just hurting other human being but it destroying others.

Totally agreed. He does care for Sona a lot. But the indebtedness towards his mother takes over his final decision making. Once again, this is his mental conditioning by his mother. Even if he is remotely happy in his own world with his wife, his mother is right there to "remind" him of his responsibilities towards herself and their family.

Ishwari is highly conservative with patriarchal views and she has brought up her children from that viewpoint also. But despite the constant conditioning of his mind, Dev doesn't share her orthodox views at all. He doesn't care if Sona works, or decided to go to work without discussing with him, if she can cook or do any household chores, if she can give him children or not, or she can do puja-bhajan or not and be an ideal bahu or not. He truly doesn't bother about any of that. They are equals and Sona knows that. In fact, she tells Ishwari that she and Dev are equal in their relationship (Obviously Ish doesn't like that🙄🙄).

Problem is he fell in love with a girl who was diametrically opposite to his mother.. (sometimes I wonder if it was subconscious rebellion on his part🤔😝..)

Problem is he isn't able to stand up strongly for her. I think he is constantly worried that his mother will gulp some more sleeping pills if he did.
