he has been cooking up stupid stories for a while now. i was also mad at sona for going along but i guess they hardly listen to her and honestly, she feels very fragile because she doesn't want them to abandon her daughter. they aren't really the most confidence giving individuals. sona is also aware that the only reason for dev's and ishwari's jhukav towards soha is because she's (was) their blood. they didn't raise her so there's nothing binding them to soha unlike the bose family. so that insecurity is making her even more fragile.

Dev is an impulsive man, Mr.Quick Fix.

Whatever is the problem, find an instant solution, a bandaid, without thinking through long-term consequences.

Sona is the perfect complement to him, who wants to take the time to think through things, before making a decision.

If only Dev wasn't so influenced by his mother, he and Sona would actually make a good team. He would be able to listen to her and defer to her judgement. Like post leap, he let her take the lead on dealing with Khatri, when all he could do was punch the man. She did the thinking and the planning, and he accepted it.

Of course, All this happened because Ishwari Mata went on pilgrimage and Bijoy didn't know what was happening. Wish he could understand how toxic his mother was in a lot of situations😶😑

pushing ayush and suhana together is what is causing the problem. otherwise i don't really think suhana is that big of an issue. She and ayush both need time remember how the first day they met she tried to talk to him twice. she will try if not for the excessive push from ishu and dev

I agree, pushing Ayush and Suhana together is what's causing the problem. But frankly at the moment what Sonakshi said about Suhana seems to be quite true, Ayush is getting everything that he missed out on but in that process they are also taking away Suhana's rights to make Ayush comfortable which is obviously so wrong. Which is why say its not Ayush but rather Suhana for whom she needs to take a firm stand.

he is super impulsive and always has been but thats where i struggle with team bijoy on this honestly- i get the idea of couples complimenting each other and opposites attract but i CANNOT for the life of me, having watched this show for three seasons from when i was relatively young to date understand what dev brings to the plate for sona. would love to hear others' view on this cos i genuinely don't know.

Lol, interestingly I have pages and pages on what she brings to the relationship, but you have put me on the spot by asking what does he bring to the relationship?!😅😅😅 I am not going to consider season 3 Dev, because I don't quite recognize and relate to him.

I think Sona really loves his total commitment to his family, his dedication to his relationships. The problems only arose when these relationships were pitted against each other. Otherwise he is a complete family man, and this was his best trait. Once post leap, the differences sorted out, he stood by her and they were a proper team. She loves his hardworking nature and his drive to do and be better for his loved ones.

She finds his dry sense of humor funny and he makes her laugh.

She loves that he is thoughtful and ethical in his professional life, where he was willing to let go of so much profit, just for the benefits of his employees.

She also finds him really hot😁😁🔥

Dev & Ishwari are right from their viewpoint.

What stopped Sonakshi from comforting Ayush when he accidentally broke Suhana's mug?

Yes, it is also Ishwari's fault.

She deliberately gives her things to Ayush to create unnecessary problems.

i can totally see his good traits but im also one of those ppl who get super skeptical because all of his good traits frequently fail to manifest with sona. it doesn't matter if you are a family man if you constantly pick and choose who is the more important family ya? honestly i felt like their differences sorted out very artificially and thats the biggest problem in the journey ahead. no lessons learnt. they also always pretended that somehow dev and sona were equally responsible for their bad relationship which is just the furthest from reality.

BUT i will take your words @bold he brings laughter and eye candy to the relationship. 😆

I personally don't agree at all that Dev and ishuwari are right. You can check the thread I've talked about it beforehand. They are honestly neither caring for suhana not Sona and not even ayush.

About the mug thing it's pretty obvious because suhana was crying. Go back to times when you and your sibling fought regardless of who's at fault the parents always console the one who is crying. It's a natural impulse. If I see two people one who's crying other who's not I would console the one who's crying.

And honestly ayush didn't look scared or anything he was more concerned with suhana crying and shocked at that.

Honestly i think the writing for dev has been terrible. I wouldn't want a partner like him in real life. It makes for entertaining story but he's honestly a drama magnet, so many things that can solved easily he stretches them and hides things. I feel for him he had bad upbringing but he needs therapy, to deal with all the trauma there is in life.

I would much rather prefer a saurabh or bijoy as a partner. they are supportive and even though both have a heightened temper they don't misdirect it which is good.

Vicky hasn't been consistent, he almost abused elina, didn't let her visit her family for years but seems to have learnt from his mistakes now.

I low key wouldn't even like mamaji as a partner. Ik radharani wasn't the best but the way he treated vicky was not really nice, haven't seen much bonding but he also constantly belittles her. He's though much better than dev.

Dev if had consistent writing could've been a nice character but drama ke liye he keeps making stupid decisions which for the lord of me i can't understand.

The night fight scene was so bad. he first instead of comforting her questions her dream. later when she's crying he makes it about him and asks her id she's understood him. Uh dude did you tell her anything, if you wanna bottle up things its not her fault. And please listen when someone is speaking you'll get your chance later. he's consistently been shutting her out. even if you think her fears are irrational you try to understand why they exist in the first place and not do whatever he does.

He was very sweet with her family. The Bose family really liked him until Ishwari came into the picture. Whether at Saurabh's wedding or Asha's birthday, he was there for them. His picking of one family over other only manifested when his mother forced his hand. As long as he didn't have Ishwari hovering over him, he was able to act according to his true character, his own personality. For example, When Sona was pregnant with Shubh, he rushes to talk to the Boses also, as to how to go forward with a complicated pregnancy.

As for their differences being sorted out artificially, I think Dev should have done a better job of apologizing for his words that night at the farmhouse.

But I always thought between themselves they were actually fine. They had their little tiffs but they actually gelled well. Their problems only cropped up when their families got involved and each of them wanted to take their own family's side, which is understandable (unlike Elena🙄). Too many strong personalities on either side.. So as soon as Ishwari apologized and Bijoy stepped aside, I could see them making a fresh start. Dev afterwards, was quite open and frankly unapologetic about how crazily he loved her. He says that to his mother too. Huge stepup for the man, who constantly had to assure his mother that she came first for him earlier.
