Even if he is remotely happy in his own world with his wife, his mother is right there to "remind" him of his responsibilities towards herself and their family.

Ishwari is highly conservative with patriarchal views and she has brought up her children from that viewpoint also. But despite the constant conditioning of his mind, Dev doesn't share her orthodox views at all. He doesn't care if Sona works, or decided to go to work without discussing with him, if she can cook or do any household chores, if she can give him children or not, or she can do puja-bhajan or not and be an ideal bahu or not. He truly doesn't bother about any of that. They are equals and Sona knows that. In fact, she tells Ishwari that she and Dev are equal in their relationship (Obviously Ish doesn't like that🙄🙄).

Problem is he fell in love with a girl who was diametrically opposite to his mother.. (sometimes I wonder if it was subconscious rebellion on his part🤔😝..)

Problem is he isn't able to stand up strongly for her. I think he is constantly worried that his mother will gulp some more sleeping pills if he did.

But this time it's his daughter infront of him. Lets see, still his mother over power him. If that happens I want sona leave him permanently with shub.

S1 was somewhat relatable to dev. I was all understanding dev till shimla. After that i just dont like him. S2 non existing for me. In S3, I cannot recognise him. I am already pissed off from his behaviour.

Absolutely agree with the first 2 paragraphs. Regarding the last paragraph, I would beg to differ. Post leap, before Sona made a reappearance in his life, Dev was not worried about his mother at all. He was completely indifferent to her even when she vented out her grievance at him for ignoring her & not paying much attention to her . If for 7 years, he could stay away from home for days altogether & spend them with random girls at hotels without the fear in his mind of his mom popping in some sleeping pills, he can very well take a strong stand for Sona.😅😅

Ayush can also join Sona, Soha & Shubh if she leaves the house permanently. I would like to see Ishwari & Dev's reaction then.😜🤣

Dev can again go on bike rides with different girls and have fun , fight with Maa , be rude to every one flirt around ... wanderer again!

😂😂😂

Sona instead of one child struggle with three children an a single parent and working woman ... sit again until late night at office get behind the invisible walls

Yes agreed, I was mainly talking about preleap.

Post leap, he was not fawning all over her. But still he never broke the strings. He came often to meet her and talked to her. It was a much lesser scale, of course, but he was still there. Obviously it wasn't enough for Ishwari 🙄😏 She wanted him to worship her 24x7, which he ceased to do.

Please just stop 🙏 This season 3 has already traumatized me enough I do not want a season 4 🙏

Pata chala next they will say Shubh is not Devakshi's child either. He got interchanged with Mishti at the hospital.

She should now stand up to Dev and ishwari and stop them from taking rash decisions.

In the new promo Dev is trying to change Aysuh's school. His intention might be right but this is just too much for a kid. Poor child hasn't even gotten used to the house and now they want to take away his friends from school too.

Changing schools alone is so hard for children , that with all the house change , family change, father's death, no grandparents the child will suffocate. Only Sona so far has understood Aysuh's struggle so far. She just needs to be firm of what she decides and now let Dev decide everything.

This is what happens to most women after a period of time in marriage, They are so scared to take decisions and think from all angles, especially if they have kids. They try to maintain the balance of the family . They want their decisions to be perfect and good for all the family members but in reality such a thing never happens. One person is bound to be unhappy. Here two kids are involved and she is threading carefully . She doesnt want a broken family for her kids, so she is trying her level best to down play everything. I am not sure how long she will be able to hold the fort. The pace at which Ishwari is moving , I feel someone is bound to get hurt.

And the season after that they can say Dev is not Ishwari's kid & that Khatri got interchanged him with Jatin at the hospital. It would be worth watching if only to see Ishwari's reaction..😜🤣
