Areeba, I feel that the makers are heavily influenced by Pride and Prejudice. In the end Elizabeth reveals how great and Noble Darcy and although initially she hated him, it was because of her own misconceptions. She accepts that she had been prejudiced and Darcy was not like how she thought him to be. Although her father, Mr. Bennet doesn't know all the details of how Darcy has had an effect on his family, he comes to accept Darcy for Elizabeth's sake. In the end he tells "Well, my dear, said he, when she ceased speaking, "I have no more to say. If this be the case, he deserves you. I could not have parted with you, my Lizzy, to anyone less worthy.". But after that he is shown to make efforts to know Darcy.

I think this is what the makers did. Although the perfection image of Bijoy is not broken in a way for him, it is for Sonakshi, Asha and Suhana. Dev can make fun of Bijoy in front of these three ladies and they will take it sportingly and no longer consider that as an insult. He is now a caricature and is not taken seriously. And Sonakshi has come to accept that her family is not perfect including herself. More than anything she has come to accept that her father is flawed and that there is no such thing as perfect person. She now accepts Dev as he is. She also no longer feels the need to hide anything from him and accepts his help with happiness. In fact she now wants him to be with her in most of the things she does.

Yess ...it's the new beginning of Kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi , though as viewers v cudn witness it every wk in our living room or on screen , but for Dev Dixit n Sonakshi Bose Dixit , their additional bundle of joy hav arrived to their life, taking their luv to another level. Their happy family is complete now , with Suhana n Shubh along with their dadi Ishwariji n they hav to go together a long way . It was a really good episode even amidst these chaos off screen regarding the sudden closure of the show wrt channel n PH.

Ishwari-Sona scenes.. really nice , both of them expressing their concerns. Sona didn want to make Dev n maa worried bout her mood swings .She felt that she'll loose the luv from Dev n Ish. But Ish maa assured her "tumhara har nakhhra sar aankhon par beta.. Ab sona ko aur kya chahiye? Dev too assured her full support . She can even hav the non veg in the dining room itself. So Bose house jaana cancelled. I was thinking bout the transition of Ish maa from an insecured mil to a lovable maa . That Ishwari ji who refused to hav food in her only son Dev's marriage bcoz non veg food was also served in the venue along with veg foods , of course separately now willing to giv non veg food for her pregnant dil in the dining room of her house. Amazing indeed !

Bed room scene of Devakshi ...Superb ! "U'r water broke " n dev started getting ready for the hospital. It was amazing. Dev hav tremendous growth as a perfect husband .Dev started understanding Sona more n supporting her wenever needed . Somewat similar thing hapnd in my life too. I called my husband in the middle of his deep slp @ late night , as I was feeling hungry . He got up from the cot & started looking for his purse n car keys. I was like , "arrey mujhe kuch khane doh.. & v laughed a lot. This scene of Devakshi took me down the memory lane for sure, almost 16 yrs bak. ( Since v're living in another country , away from both of our families, he was extra cautious all the time but the best part was that he was with me thru out the process unlike Dev standing outside waiting for the good news )

Dev n his maa ... I always luvd them , I started disliking Ishwari , wen she started hating Sonakshi for no reason or for her virtues. Dev's expectations n responsibilities as a father& he don want to fail in fulfilling those as a father to his kids. But v all knew how good Dev as a papa to Soha. For his daughter, he overcame his fear of snakes . For Suhana, he went to liv with the Boses. He' s indeed a good, caring n luving father. He wanted to do a lot of things for his kids that he cudn get in his childhood. He wants to re live his childhood with them. Ishwari understood that she entrusted Dev with responsibilities @ a very young age but Dev understood his mom so well that he didn felt that as a burden or responsibility. It was a meaningful n beautiful convo bet maa beta.

Vicky ghar vaapsy ! . Vicky understood the value of family n he wanted to come bak to his family. Dev forgave him . Afterall cousins r our first friends, though Vicky was an exception. Dev told Vicky, aaj tumne mujhe bhai aur inhe bhabi kaha toh dil se kaha . So it was Sona's wish to c Vilena n Golu bak in IN. Sona indeed did her farz as a good dixit dil.Even mamaji appreciated his beta ,Vicky.. Now wat bout all those plotting, scheming n execution both Vicky n Mamiji had in the past ? Arrey yaar, life is all bout forgiving n forgetting..pl move on 😆... Luvd the BGM..yeh lemhe hazar ke, hote hai rang pyar ke... Btw, this show is blessed with beautiful soundtracks . All the songs r mind blowing with beautiful lyrics n compositions . Hats off to the Creative team .👍🏼

So infact it was Sona who initiated Dev Vicky re union. Great job! She is indeed a selfless one n that's wat I liked in Sona more . I still remembered the scene wer Sona took Ishwari to hospital without even knowing her , ignoring her own important interview. She's still doing the same . Sona gathered the scattered family of Dev , she brought bak his sisters with the help of Dev.. Sona bridged the gap bet Dev n Ish too. Sona made him understand that though he loves his maa a lot , he needs to express that too , like the way he did b4. Sonakshi asked Dev if Soha started stop talking to him , how will he feel ? Dev understood n with Sonakshi , he went to his maa n had food from his maa. Sona started understanding Ishwari more, wen she herself became a mother. Similarly , Dev also understood Bijiy baba more once he became a father. This is wat life teaches everyone. V learn more from experiences.

Bijiy n Dev...both of them luv the same person, the most , Sonakshi . So clashes bet them is obvious n bound to happen every now n then. Dev comforted a worried Bijoy but wen Sonakshi went in labour , he cudn overcome the tension n fainted but as a supportive FIL, Bijoy comforted him n even offered water . Soha exchanged the happy news of her lil bro's arrival to her papa n dadu .Dev with his tiny ( nt that tiny for a new born in reality 😆 ) Mr Aubhodro & those flashbacks... their first encounter -front facing accident, holy encounter , ilu as a man loves a woman, first proposal ms Bose se mrs aubhodro , wedding, gruhapravesh , fights n accidental pushing n falling of Ish maa , Sonakshi walk out , farm house ultimate brk up, soha- golu intro, summer camp snake catching ,sona rain proposal, re entry/ gruhapravesh of Sona , recent rakheee with sona's pregnancy revealation. A happy Dev with his kid looking so affectionately @ his wife. These duo never need any intimate scenes , their eyes expresses everything . V can feel the depth of luv Devakshi hav for each other with their mere expressions . The show ended with a happy family get together n pix with DK being the photographer . But I missed dadi n dixit sisters & even Jatin..😔

The best part of this show was it's wonderful cast n crew . Shaheer , I cudn see anyone other than u as Devrat Dixit . Erica, u surprised me with u'r subtle acting n expressions . Sonakshi Bose cudn b played as convincingly as u did by any other actresses. Supriya ji , u lived as Ishwariji. I cudn hate Ishwari only bcoz u played her. All other actors who played mamaji, mamiji , Vicky, Elena , Neha n family , Riya n family , Nikky , Laksh ,dadi, Bijoy baba, Asha maa , Saurav , Raunita , Mrs.& Mr. Mandol , Jatin , Gunni , Ranveer n family , Ayaan n family , Ritwick n family, Bunty, DK,PK, Jassy, Kichu ,Bhola , Gujral ji n family , Neil, Kushal n family, Nisha n family , Payal n boy friend , young achiever award attendees, Chef who baked asha b'day cake n his kids,Thapper , goons ,fake news publisher n staff , private detective, Dr. Sinha , Tina, Paromita , other staffs in both dev's & Sona's office , Khatri . Kajol n malti , delhi aunties , shruti, school teachers n staffs , mamiji's 'firend ' kalpana n arti ,coffee shop guys , inspector n subs , sona's patients ,hospital staffs, sona's milk man, IN outside staffs last but nt least the kids trio ( actually 4 but I've included Riya's sweety Aarohi to her family ) cutie pie Golu , sweetiee pie Soha n the nanha munna yummy pie Shubh baby ..all 're jst PERFECT !!! 👏

Let's cherish the beautiful luv saga of Dev n Sonakshi , the hardships of Ish maa along with other inmates of IN n the vibrance in Bose house . It was a pleasure seeing each n everyone of these characters..v laughed , cried , cribbed, fell in luv, got angry , felt naughty n playful with them. Kushal , Natasha , Neil, Ritwick, Jatin, Payal, Nisha...U guys brought something , some slight realisations into Dev n Sona's life though these duo r inseparable ; alag nahii..ek hi hai ! As Shaheer said, this show has a beginning, it has an end ..yess it has ENDED, beautifully . Wat v saw was amazing but wat yet to b shown to us might ve much more amazing. Even though the show ended on a happy note, the memories it gave last forever. 😃

Last but nt least, it was really a pleasure to b a part of this thread . Special thanks to Sam n DQ , nt only for providing this thread but also for keeping the sanity intact 😃 All the wonderful peoples hre , u guys r amazing . I really luvd this place . If thru my writings, knowingly or unknowingly if I hurt anyone , please mujhe maaf kar dijiye. It was nt intentional 😳 Kuch Rang Pyar ke Aise Bhi...

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi might have ended but I am sure that its memories will remain etched in our hearts and minds for a very long time to come...

I have always said that this show is less about the story or drama, but more about moments and experiences...

On February 29, 2016, our affair with this show and Devakshi began... We laughed, we cried, we danced and we celebrated the epic love saga of Dev and Sonakshi...

The show's abrupt ending might have come as an unexpected shock but when I watched the last scene, I realised that the ending still feels right... I was expected tears but instead, my heart was filled with happiness and contentment... But, more importantly, peace that I can now relive and re-experience the amazing moments that this show had gifted us without feeling a pang of pain in my heart...

Yesterday's scene began with Sona realizing that she doesn't need to be hide herself any longer and in Ishwari, she doesn't only have a great mother-in-law but a great mother... With this realization, her journey from a daughter-in-law to a daughter of Ishwari finally reached its end...

The scene where Ishwari asked Sonakshi to eat non-veg food in the dining room was a very simple way to tell Sona that she doesn't need to hide anything... And, she will be loved and cherished for whom she is...

Also, with this, both Dev and Sona were finally able to let go of their painful memories...

Sonakshi, in 2 simple statements, where she expressed how scared she is during this pregnancy but at the same time, was sure that nothing will happen because Dev is at her side finally symbolized that she no longer Dev as her responsibility but as an equal...

Ishwari and Dev's scene definitely made me sentimental... Dev expressing his concerns, his longing to give an opportunity to his children to enjoy their childhood, something that was snatched by him...

And, Ishwari's heartfelt apology and recognition of her son's desires and sacrifices was truly such a soul-touching scene...

And, while I wished for something similar between Dev and Sonakshi... But, even after watching them for over 18 months, I still sometimes forget, that their magic lies in the words left unsaid...

What we got was something even more special...

As Dev took his son, Shubh Dixit in his arms and gazed at his Sonakshi's love filled eyes, the memories of every significant moment in the journey of our Devakshi, with the ever-so goood background music of our show...

(Oh... How much I will miss the beautiful tracks and score of this show...)

And, how both of them called each other 'Ms. Sonakshi Bose' and 'Mr. Aubhodro' was in a way, their method of acknowledging their journey... And, by addressing each other by the same name as they used to call each other at their very start, was a beautiful way to begin the next grand adventure of their lives...

Today, on this auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a day when we celebrate the beginning of a prosperous times waiting for us ahead...

Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi has also left us with the beginning of a enchanting next chapter of the lives of Devakshi.. I am glad that the final glimspe of the show was a picture of a family where every member respected and loved each other...

As the show ends, I would like to take a moment to appreciate all the work that both Shaheer and Erica have put in and how they have breathed life and colors into the characters of Dev Dixit and Sonakshi Bose...

All the other actors, especially Supriya Ji also deserve the credit for their fantabulous acting... It is one of the rare shows where the casting of each character, even the supporting or side ones was done to near-perfection...

The writers, directors and the whole crew including the producers should be applauded for the brilliant execution of this show...

And, lastly, I would like to thank each and every member in this thread and in my time at India Forums for making this journey all the more special...

No amount of words can ever express the gratitude that I feel for all of you to accept and make me feel like I am not a stranger, but another member of this unorthodox and slightly crazy fandom of KRPKAB...

This was my first experience with a forum or fandom of a TV daily soap and thank you for making this experience to be filled with so much happiness and pleasure..

Even though, I don't know anyone of you yet thank you so much for making feel like I belong here... I will hold these fond memories and keep it very close to my heart and cherish them forever...

Thank You so much... A very big hug from my side to all of you 🤗

#KRPKABlivesForever and all of you absolutely rock!!! ❤️ you all so much!!!

Never in all these years, have I ever thought I will be so emotional watching a Daily Soap episode. Boy... There was something in KRPKAB which, even at the last episode today, 08/24, gave me same fresh feeling as I had watching the first episode almost year and a half ago. The entire episode was so beautiful it made me cry in 3/4 of the episode.

Today's episode's highlight for me was Ishwari-Dev scene in the kitchen. When Ishwari was praising her son Devrath, I almost felt like someone was praising my son. Being a mother of a boy, I always felt a Mother-Son connection with My 3D Dear Dev Dixit and may be that is the reason even if I did not agree and disliked so many of Ishwari's actions, I was always able to understand where she was coming from. This Mother-Son duo is the most understanding and accommodating of each other and their family. Even in today's episode Ishwari proved to understand her son's wishes for his children as a father. Ishwari-Dev chemistry, for me, was always an untouched chemistry even more than DevAkshi at some occasions. Both Supriyaji and Shaheer enacted this scene so perfectly, I could not ask for anything more than applauding their work with awe. I agree with @Suyash that Erica's great performance gets unnoticed at times, however Supriyaji and Shaheer's performances are always so perfect that others bound to get less noticed when sharing the screen space.

I was finally able to accept Vicky's realization. I am happy that he is back home with Elena and Golu. Vaibhav Singh did an apt job with his performance along with Shaheer.

Other highlights for me were hospital scenes. Dev anxiously waiting outside Sonakshi's delivery room after fainting, then laying his eyes on "His Prince", "Devrath Jr" and then holding the little precious bundle - Shubh - in his arms for the first time with Sonakshi on his side were just priceless and invaluable moments in Devakshi's life. Little Shubh is so adorable a cutie pie. Both Shaheer and Erica enacted their happiness so aptly and perfectly. I loved how Dev had the flashback of entire Devakshi journey including his precious times with Soha and Golu. It gave me so many old happy and sad memories. It was just fabulous - More Than Perfect Just Perfect. Shaheer and Erica's chemistry as DevAkshi is the most unmatched chemistries in Indian Soaps and they definitely deserve a lot of applauds for their work.

Throughout the entire episode different old BGMs were such a delight to listen to. They also gave me so many happy memories from the past.

The final scene - I give makers huge credit for this scene on how they showed scene from episode-1 as flashback when Dev brings Ishwari in IN for the first time to Ishwari's dialogue in today's episode that she finally arrived home today. I am finally extremely satisfied seeing DEV happy and content with his life. I think he truly arrived HOME today.

Thanks.

Ji 😊

"The sweetness and delights of the resting-place are in proportion to the pain endured on the journey. Only when you suffer the pangs and tribulations of exile will you truly enjoy your homecoming." - Rumi

I am feeling very emotional. My rational mind can never reason how I get attached to the so called "fictional show", but my emotional self knows how KRPKAB just hit the right chord. I know I have been missing from the forum for quite long time. To be honest, I couldn't take the news of KRPKAB ending soon well enough, so I had been practicing detachment in this manner - by watching the episodes but not writing about it or thinking too much about it.

I thought it worked, till the episodes of last two weeks happened. I started getting emotional with each resonating dialogue, shared smiles, light moments and of course, emotional ones; with each shade of love that made its way from my TV screen directly to my heart. By the end of each episode, my eyes were red with tears and heart heavy with a pang of overflowing sadness. I wonder, that if I, as an audience, am feeling so emotional, how the cast and the crew must have felt literally leaving their little world behind.

I still remember how my cousin and my best friend fought with my obstinate skepticism and introduced the show to me. I had been convinced that it wasn't worth watching, because of the impression given by any regular daily soap. The first complete episode that I had watched was Sonakshi's accident episode; the beautiful walk homewards that took a cruel turn leaving the dreams of the heart shattered. And I had cried in that first very episode I had watched, when Sonakshi was lying in the pool of blood in the end. I think, I can compare myself (of this moment) with Dev (of that episode) and the last episode of KRPKAB with Sonakshi (of that episode). In spite of feeling so hurt, the last few episodes (esp the last one) were so beautiful that I truly felt the warmth of coming back to home. When Ishwari said her dialogue of homecoming in the last episode, I was saying in mind, oh why do we have to take a short cut to home - the coffee shop is still on the way.

Neverthless, I sincerely thank KRPKAB - its makers, writers, actors and everyone in front of and behind the camera who worked hard to make this a success - for giving me beautiful journey and moments through this show, for making me smile, cry, feel joy and grief, see so many colors of love and being a beautiful part of my life during this entire duration.

The journey with KRPKAB had also brought me in this forum, and in particular this thread. I thank all the wonderful people I met here for sharing your thoughts and feelings with me, for making the beauty of this journey a few notches higher, for listening to me, for appreciating me and for just being there as a fellow KRPKAB fan.

My parting words to the beautiful show and the people I may never come across again:

Hooponopono

Take care.🤗🤗

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. May He bless us all with peace and happiness.

Till now kept myself busy with celebration of Vinayak Chaturthi. Suppressed the uneasiness .of not having a 930 date with Dev Dixit. But now being free from work, the truth surfaced making the reality glare at my face. No show today. What shall I do? A big question mark that has no answer.

There are umpteen shows running on television but they won't be a Navya,a Mahabharat or a Kuch Rang Pyar Ki. For ,those shows won't have the charming hero with hazel eyes, wonderful smile, husky voice and the curly locks that enhance the beauty of the face.

Surely I watched the show for Shaheer who is my Jaan.He never disappointed me..never at all. His choice of roles always proved the class and quality ...Shaheer is class apart from others. He always thrived to chose diffrent charecters.

Anant the cute college going lover won my heart like a breath of fresh air. And then came Arjun my childhood crush the valiant warrior prince.. I was swept off my feet.Kahi Arjjun phir se janam liya? I wondered . The whole world applauded Shaheer ,and hailed his performance.

After two years He came back and how? I posted" Mera Arjun Vaapas aagaya."

Shaheer made me proud by choosing to play Dev Dixit a never before written Charecter on screen. In the begining I was afraid his role may not shape up well. But after a while I understood. Dev Dixit is evolving and overpowering all other charecters...Dev charmed,Dev lured and Dev won my heart yet again. I wonder whether Shaheer is born to play the role which showcased his all round talent .

I remember Kuch Rang as the story of a noble son who struggled to strike balance between his mother and wife. Shaheer lived the Charecter with ease and proved his versatility.

Dev made me a part of his journey. I empathised with him,I cried with him and smiled with him in happiness. Surely it takes guts to admit one's faults without ego. The man really is a gem of a person who never let himself carried away by superiority complex or perfection mania. He is so grounded. A great human being who never steps back to make others happy.

I am happy with the final episode. Iswari acknowledged Dev's loss of childhood moments and begged pardon. The mother son scene is a delight to watch. And the father son scene I mean Dev lifting his Subh for the first time... I would cherish it for a long time.

With a heavy heart I thank every one and our mods for bearing with my obsession for Dev Dixit.
Thank you every one for making the journey so beautiful.

Special thanks to dear Shaavi who is the soul of this thread.

Thank you KRPKAB team the makers and technical staff for gifting such a path breaking serial.

Thanks Supriyaji for your awesome portrayal of Iswari..

Good luck to Erica and other actors..
