Seeing the way the makers are trying to whitewash Vickky and maami, it feels like they are trying to change Lydia and Wickham into Jane and Bingley. With maama and maami as Mr. & Mrs. Bennet. 😆 😆 .

The only disappointment that is now remaining will be the realization of Sonakshi and Bijoy regarding their flaws and faults. It would have been nice if it was shown that both Sonakshi and Bijoy admit their mistakes too and ask Dev and Ishwari's forgiveness.

Forget it Shaavi Indian telivision never let female lead confess herself. I told you before. I am telling you again. It won't happen.

Can't believe that today is the last day... Feeling anxious just thinking about what tomorrow will bring...

Since, I had watched yesterday's episode, this realization that today will be the last time that I will eagerly wait for 9:30 (in today's case, 9:10)...

Such a beautiful show never deserved such an ending... But, like @aarcha said, that I am just glad that Devakshi's last wish to experience the joys of having a child will also be fulfilled...

Even though, we no longer be privy to their personal lives, I am glad that their lives will be filled with happiness and joy... They deserve each and every bit of it...

It is funny when the show was running last year, we didn't want the show to end in February... We wanted more of it... But, now, we wish that the show should have ended as was originally planned... Then, at least, we would have witnessed a gorgeous ending...

But, if things would have ended in February, then I am sure that we neither would have met Soha or Golu...

So, in the end, everything happens for a reason...

I just wish all the actors and the team behind this show a great and prosperous future...

I don't whether I will be able to post anything after today's episode... But, in case, this is my last post...

I would just like to express my gratitude to ever be a part of this thread... I'll miss you guys so much...

Thank You!!!

Sonakshi is a kinda closed up person and it was refreshing to see her 'actually' throwing a tantrum. And it's true that it takes years of staying together to get to a level where you can throw tantrums at your in-laws. While Bose family has been initially loving and inclusive to Ronita, I'd say Ronita herself travelled an extra mile too. Which is why she is in a house where she throws tantrums like her birth house without the fear of being judged.
Poor Sona fears that being rude and cranky might cost her the precious love that she has got from Dev and Ishwari. My advice to women like her... BE YOU!😆

My MIL is ever smiling and encouraging when I go to visit my parents...packs a lot of yummy stuff for me and my parents and I go there at free will ...after just informing..

Also even with all the love, it is ok for Sona to want proximity to her birth family. I am actually surprised even though Dev and Ish love Sona to bits they did not think of getting non-veg food for her and kind of gave heavy weight expressions when Sona expressed her desire... sigh...
Good that this is shown and hopefully Sona will be able to eat the food of her choice at 'her' home.

I know a couple of conservative families where they do arrange for different utensils for their DIL to eat non-veg.

overall loving the episodes , except that they hail patriarchy like there's no tomorrow. Why should Asha fear so much before asking Sona to stay at her parent's house? Why should Ishwari think that Sona should automatically love Ishwari less if she wants to spend time with her mother or stay at her parent's house?

Don't like this culture of taking permission from MIL before a DIL visits her parents house. If in laws really love her as much as they claim, allow free will to her to come and go as she please. Informing should be good enough. Seeking permission...not too good...

🥺 I will miss discussing, dissing, dissecting each scene and word from friday

@harryfan.. So true... We don't want some things to end at all. But we do not like it when it is prolonged without a proper storyline too.
I only wished they had planned after the extension so that all gaps in story could be completed nicely.
Now that is not gonna happen as they have a rushed ending

Wednesday, 08/23 episode gave me feeling of patch work. Vicky's realization does not make sense at all. My wish (and others too) of Vicky and RR getting exposed is never coming true. Also, "Vicky Ka Ekdam Se Good Boy Ban Naa kuchh Hajam Nahi Ho Raha Hai". It seems from yesterday's episode that Vicky, Elena and Golu will be moving back to IN. My dream of RR and Mamaji moving out of IN with Vicky and IN becoming true Dixit House for ONLY DIXITS does not look like coming true - ever. Sorry but Sonakshi's mood swings looked forced to me "Jabarjasti Ke". As if "Pregnant Hai to Mood Swing To Dikhane Hi Hai".

If there was time left for the show, it surely would have been funny and treat to watch Ishwari and Bijoy living in the same household taking care of Sonakshi.

Only thing now - I am excitedly waiting to welcome "Devrath Jr." in My 3D's, Dear Dev Dixit, life. The scenes where Dev lays his eyes on "His Prince" with Sonakshi on his side and then holds him in his arms for the first time will be extremely special and emotional. I assume those will be the last emotional and touching scenes enacted by Shaheer for this show. I like KRPKAB to be a finite series but still wish there was better planned end for this beloved show.

Just too emotional to write anything else.

Thanks.

I didn't want to make any post on yesterday's episode since I felt that it is more or less pointless...

And, especially because, it is still very difficult to digest that the first scene of the episode started at Sona 7-8 weeks in her pregnancy, but the next moment, we were in the 6-7 month of her pregnancy...

In short, we missed 4-5 months of a journey which must have been so beautiful to watch... But, alas...

Yesterday, I found Sona's behavior to be in sync with the statement where she says to Dev, that she will prefer to hide her emotions in front of Dev, if it results in his happiness... So, she might have decided to hide the actual reality of her cravings and mood swings from Dev (and as well as Ishwari by extension) for him...

While I could understand Sona's thought-process, I am unable to connect with the Boses' behavior on this issue...

I felt that you painted a very biased picture where you accused both Dev and Ishwari of showing patriarchal tendencies... So, I felt that I should write something which could express my perspective on this situation...

It is safe to assume that Boses brought Sona non-veg food on a daily basis since the last 2-3 months in her pregnancy... They (including Bijoy) who prefers to say the honest truth at all times, continued to lie to the Dixits about their daughter's cravings...

Dev (and Ishwari) expected Sonakshi to have some weird cravings or mood swings... What took them by surprise was the lack of the aforementioned events in case of Sona...

Only Sona knew what she actually craved (and despite popular belief, I don't think anyone possesses the ability to read the minds of the person that they consider as their soul-mate) and she decided to reveal the truth to her parents...

Yes... She wanted non-veg food, which might have been slightly difficult but considering both Dev and Ishwari knew that not only Sona, but also Soha liked non-veg dishes, it would not have been very difficult to come up with a solution...

Also, I think you are forgetting that Dev cooked non-veg food for Soha... So, I don't agree that having a craving for non-veg should have become this big of an issue...

Sonakshi was scared and her fears can still be seen as some residual effect of the infertility track... But, at least, the Boses should have been honest with both Dev and Ishwari.. At least, then, they wouldn't need to lie on a constant basis...

Not only this, both Bijoy and Asha must know that having mood swings or cravings are a just a nature's way for the mother to deal with the changes (that comes with pregnancy) and for them to encourage Sona to hide her emotions and not let it out, can lead to extra stress for their daughter, since she is constantly hiding her real state of emotions...

And, in a high-risk pregnancy, it can lead to some unexpected complications for both Sona and the unborn baby... So, yes... If I hold anyone responsible for this whole non-veg issue, it will have to be the elder Boses...

And, neither Dev nor Ishwari stopped Sona from moving to the Boses... And, they both understand that Sona is the master of her own will and they accept her as she is... If this happened in the first season, I could understand... But, in the second season, especially after her reunion, it is pretty evident that both Dev and Ishwari understand and respect the core character of Sonakshi..

Ishwari was not hurt because Sona wanted to move to Bose house or that she wanted to remain close with her parents... She was hurt because Sona was still not feeling comfortable to expose her real emotions even after coming to know that now Ishwari truly loves her and consider her as another daughter...

Any person will be hurt if the person that they genuinely love doesn't trust them completely... Sona was also hurt when she accused Dev of not trusting her with respect to his family members..

It was a very natural reaction from Ishwari considering the circumstances...

And, now let me come to Dev...

He has always held himself responsible for not being there for Sona when she needed him the most... This pregnancy offers him a medium to finally get rid of this guilt that has been plaguing since their reunion...

His concern and absolute love for Sonakshi was evident since the start (and even earlier) of this pregnancy track... He might not call himself as a feminist or understand feminism but his actions tell a completely different story...

And, now while, he, without an iota of hesitance accepted Sona's decision and decided to move to Bose to still take care of her speaks volumes about his dedication to his wife and her well-being...

He might not say out aloud but it was pretty evident that he was slightly sad that his wife still feels the need to hide simple things like cravings or her mood swings because she fears that he might love her any less...

We have to remember that Dev had met the side of Sona who never hesitated to back down from an argument... In fact, just watch their very first meetings... He only knows about this shade of Sona and also knows how to handle this side of his wife's character...

Due to the time constraints, we will never be able to know the full truth of this probable track...

But, I really felt bad when you accused both Dev and Ishwari of showing patriarchal tendencies when their actions speak otherwise...

Thank you for presenting me with an opportunity to express my views on this matter... I know that considering we are literally at the very end of this journey, I should let it go... But, it really frustrates me when someone only looks at one side and forgets to look at the other side of the coin...

GOD!!! I am literally going crazy just thinking that today, the last episode of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi will air...

Letting go of KRPKAB is going to be so much more difficult that I initially expected... I can't believe that I am saying such things for a TV show but...

Ahhh!! I don't know how I am going to live without Devakshi... This is just so much terrible..

Indeed, this is going to be such a bitter and painful goodbye for me to say... I hope that today's episode might bring in some much-needed peace and happiness... I will be crying, when the last scene happens.. That's for sure.. But, I want my tears to be of bittersweet happiness and not sadness and sorrow...
