Hello Friends,
This probably might be my last post for this thread so first and foremost my sincere thanks to DQ and Sam for creating this wonderful thread. It introduced me to so many wonderful writers whose writings I will truly miss. It also gave me opportunity to jump in to scribbling and sharing my thoughts. It was truly an amazing experience so again my sincere thanks to everyone.
As we said good bye to our beloved show, KRPKAB, yesterday 08/24/2017, here is what I would like to convey to three protagonists and the makers of the show as my thanks and appreciation. Ideally, I would like to thank each actor and anyone involved individually however it's really not possible. I am still too emotional to write but definitely want to appreciate each and everyone involved with the show. This show could not have reached where it did without everyone's best including us - the viewers.
Shaheer Sheikh, who for me is synonym of Dev Dixit - My 3D: "Shaheer, I can say this with utmost proud, respect and confidence that no other actor could portray Dev Dixit as you did. You are the reason Dev Dixit is my most favorite character with multiple shades on the show. You made me love Dev, I was able to laugh, cry and get angry at him as my son. Thank you for making Dev Dixit "The Dev Dixit. Dev Dixit will remain the ultimate character on the Indian Television for long time and credit only goes to you - enjoy this beautiful feather on your acting crown. I always loved you as an actor but with your brilliant, outstanding and incomparable portrayal of Dev Dixit in KRPKAB; you make me admire yourself as an actor. Your acting with excellent expressions, extraordinary voice modulation and exceptional dialogue delivery along with your drool worthy looks without a doubt makes you are THE BEST male actor on Indian Television. I am proud to be your fan and will miss watching you on my television screen every day. I sincerely hope you come back soon. Be proud of yourself as much as we, your fans, are proud of you. You are just a phenomenal young man. Best of luck in anything you do."
Supriya Pilgaonkar, only who I can imagine as Ishwari: "Supriyaji, I always felt that talking about your acting is "Chhota Muh Badi Baat" for me. I am not at all qualified to make statements about your acting skills except thanking you for your unmatched portrayal of Ishwari in KRPKAB. Though let me tell you, the only character comes in my mind is Ishwari when I see or think about you. You have beautifully brought Ishwari to life and I confidently say this that no other actors could have done this as beautifully as you. Your acting, your expressions, voice modulation and everything is so perfectly put together by you that it looks like your are Ishwari in real life not Supriya. The reason I was so much able to connect with Ishwari's love and understanding for her son Devrath and some of her actions (weather I agreed or disagreed), as a mother of a boy myself, is 100% you - the way you portrayed her. I laughed, cried, got angry, condemned her actions, and shared so many feelings with Ishwari and the ultimate credit for all of that goes to the way you rendered Ishwari's character. No one could have rendered Ishwari the way you did and my sincere thanks for that. You are undeniably one of the finest actors in the Indian Television. I am proud to be your fan and will certainly miss to watch you on television each day.
Erica Fernandez, AKA Dr. Sonakshi Bose (Dixit): "Erica, you have come a long way in acting within last year and a half as Dr. Sonakshi Bose. The way you have portrayed Dr. Sonakshi Bose, I can't imagine anyone else in her character. I love your looks, your acting and the way you carried yourself in portraying Dr. Sonakshi Bose - a young lady deeply in love, loving wife, responsible Bahu and then loving mother and confident business woman. You portrayed all that with ease. Thank you for giving us DevAkshi with Shaheer. You have definitely added a fan in me for yourself. You are one of the most talented and beautiful female actors on Indian Television today. Accept my sincere thanks and best wishes. You will be certainly missed on TV. Hope to see you soon on another of fantastic show, until then please keep up the good work."
Makers of KRPKAB: "Thank you for giving us KRPKAB. Your whole team from PH, story and dialogue writers, director, production team, all the actors and everyone else involved has made a history for Indian Television. Even after year and a half of running on TV, you always kept my excitement about upcoming episodes intact. Your last episode on 08/24/17 gave me same fresh feeling as I had watching the first episode on 02/29/2016. I truly am proud and blessed to be involved with KRPKAB as a loyal viewer of the show. You have never let me down with my expectations from you regarding the show and let me tell you, even with the rushed closure of the show, you managed to maintain the quality of the show. Be proud to have KRPKAB as your most beautiful feather on your television show crown. Again, accept my sincere thanks for KRPKAB."
