Just to remind RR dev neitger back stabbed anyone to destro thwir rwlationship ...nor cheated ..nor attempted to murder ...

Agree he has done mistakes and he still does so but those are mistakes and he has paid price for them and i think he paid more dan he ever deserved to pay ...

Wahi na, he did mistakes n paid price. None of the Tripathis were affected by it. But Vicky n RR's manipulations almost killed Dev thrice. Separation, goons and snake.

Dev is completely right, but ishwari to appease her brother's family is forcing him to forgive Vicky.

Vicky isn't the sort of guy to ever improve. He has got soha under his influence now. If Vicky causes some injury to soha it might turn out to be the last straw for Dev.

Payal if vickky is manipulating kid's psyche to turn thm against dev and enter IN... it will definitely be a blow below the belt. The man is literally fighting fir his family nd no one can see him standing up for thm. Should a giver be always a giver?.

If vikky come bk nd ends up playing high stake games where will all these mahaans go.. maybe thy will again blame dev for pushing vikky to play dirty games. Its literally tiring to see dev being made scapegoat for all situations nd actions.

@Charu: I honestly don't think any of the issues were totally solved, but as Ishwari suggested, they just changed the mahaul, because they weren't getting anywhere at loggerheads with one another. That said, neither of them had dropped their respective issues and you could see that in the snark they kept throwing each other's way. Dev called her a know-it-all and told the waiter it was "do what my wife wants day" and Sona gave that dessert pravachan and asked that super-awkward question about his swag and dating other people. The way I see it, they just called a truce.

That said, there were some non-verbal moments that me smile (these CVs will never get Sona to accept her flaws verbally) -- when she first saw that Dev was following her, it was like Sona fell in love all over again. Here is a man who will drive you up the wall with his antics, but will always be two steps behind you, even in the middle of one of your worst fights, to open your umbrella and make sure you have shelter. Like Ishwari said, they aren't going to like every single thing about each other, and it's natural that they drive each other crazy as they figure out their differences -- what's important is that they make sure to remember exactly why they love each other so much.

I would also like to add my two cents on Soha. I think her behaviour comes from the fact that she, unlike Golu, is unable to handle the pressure of lying. I honestly don't see it as a direct result of Devakshi's fight. She wants to be there for Golu, but she is cracking under the stress of having to go against her basic personality, and it's coming out as anger against anyone who questions her. Soha had plans of how to handle this -- she was keeping track of all her mistakes to atone later -- and I think her ego is also bruised by the dressing down Sona gave her in front of everyone. Vicky also has a lot to do with this -- if kids get contraband fun, then the parent's system of give and take doesn't work anymore and their authority is compromised. That is precisely what Vicky is causing, and one of the many reasons the slap in the precap makes complete sense to me, even if it isn't the ideal thing for Soha and Golu to witness.

That is the point i think writers were trying to make..at least that's what i understood from what i saw..These two different people can disagree on 101 things, be at logger heads but at the end of the day they cannot help but fall in love with each other..one small moment and both get back together..
That is why separation never made sense to me..may be had Vicky not thrown out Sona and family it would have been only few days separation and so many years..

But not sure..thanks to their execution which i am not very satisfied lately..

After that heartbreaking episode, the collective rage on this thread is giving me life again. ⭐️😆

The worst part is the irony of it all. Today nobody understands the gravity of Vicky's crimes becuase Dev protected them from the ramifications. He always did the extra work of maintaining Vicky's image as a sharif beta/bhatija/pati/papa so that his family could be happy, and apparently, he did such a good job that nobody believes/remembers the truth anymore. Everyone (including Sona) is so sure that Vicky is making a new start, but why do they forget that he wouldn't have bothered if Dev hadn't kicked him out and made it essential?

Don't even get me started on Elena. What right does she have to take Soha to the restaurant with her? Dev always respected his boundaries and asked her permission for outings with Golu, even when she couldn't care less about where her son was going and was only to happy to get free childcare. Is it not expected that she extend him the same courtesy?

But all that said, Sona did great today. The right/wrong of the physical act of slapping, that too in front of the children, can be argued but the motivation behind it cannot be, and I was so glad to see Sona make that distinction. Dev himself will regret the slap itself, if I know him at all, but right now he needed the assurance that the concern it stemmed from was valid. There is no doubt that Dev has anger-management issues but that doesn't cancel out the validity of the anger itself. As evidenced by what he said to Vicky, he has every reason to be afraid that Vicky will hurt his child or use her against him, and Vicky has done absolutely nothing to ease that fear.

Flashback: When Bijoy was hurling angry insults at Dev, early in S2, and Soha asked why, Dev took the blame entirely and exonerated Bijoy. He told Soha that her dadu's anger was perfectly valid because he had made the mistakes that warranted it. Soha learned to love her papa anyway, and her love for her dadu remained untouched in the process = happy child.

Cut to now: Vicky has shown no interest in owning up to, and taking responsibility for his mistakes but is suddenly being very attentive and available to the kids. As Dev himself told Vicky, children gravitate to the people they receive love from, and Soha and Golu are naturally drawn to this new, charismatic papa/chachu. Because they have no idea what he did wrong (they were protected from that), and Dev is the one who is outwardly behaving in a negative manner, they see Vicky as the victim and try to defend him, but in the heat of the moment, end up distanced from someone they love equally, if not more = very upset children.

This is Yash Patnaik's interview on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fnwKaOJ9Gg
This interview is after the 343rd episode air and before the sisters came back to IN. According to him, what they did was remove the story and only take the raw incidents in life. And since it is not a documentary, they are showing it with minimal drama way. Going by this, according to him, they still have a lot of things to say and a long way to go.

Didn't see this link in forum, so thought of sharing.
