And if it were not Dev who had taken care of Golu, RR & Vicky would have brought up Golu in the same way, thus passing it on to the coming generations. So, just like what happened in the above story, I am just waiting for the day when Vicky will be biting RR's nose and saying, 'If you had been a good mother, I would not have seen this fateful day in my life'.

Grace, you have explained it very well👍🏼. What you have said is right that Ishwari never let her kids follow the short cut route or the wrong way. She has taught all her 4 children good morals and that makes the difference between RR and Ishwari. nice post!!!!!!😊

This comparison reminds me of a very famous line said by one of the most shrewd person in our history(Chanakya) " our biggest enemies are not outsiders but our very own people who pave way for our destruction"

if you look at both Ishwari and RR, even how cruel gkb might be but she never created problems for her own child and whereas ishwari because of her unreal personality destroyed her son's life(not entirely but a significant contribution). her ego to loose to Sona forced her not to give a damn about what she was doing with Neha and Riya

i am not saying RR is a better person but both of them are not good. Ishwari though in desperation but still committed a crime ( most of the criminals in the world are in a lot of mess) and we all know about RR

in short both of them are equally bad

Sorry...First of all, the intention of my post was not at all glorification of Ishwari. Rather, my point was to show the difference in the upbringing of two mothers.

Secondly, if you meant to say, RR was happy with her son's happiness (which doesn't mean Elena only; he was happy cheating his brother, ruining his brother's family life, ganging up to finish off his brother etc etc.) and she supported her son's happiness, then I would prefer to be bad mother like Ishwari. If you mean to say RR & Vicky has all right to play with Dev's life, then why not Dev's mother. After all she was the one who struggled to bring them to this stage. And for that reason she has more haq on Dev than anyone else - play with his life or not and if Dev is allowing it, then what is the problem - unki marzi. Dev had even pre-warned Sona about being a complicated person. Sona is me kood pada tho, vo Dev ki galthi nahi hain. So, what I mean to say is that all the trio, along with RR, Vicky & Bijoy has contributed to the separation. It was not at all only Dev or Ishwari's fault.

Hi grace beautiful post. Agree with you in the sense that she tried in imparting values to her kids unlike RR who never taught her son the value of hard work, honesty and especially respecting women. But not on the fact that she stole because of majboori or circumstances. She gave wings to her dreams by crushing the dreams of another family and more importantly even when she had the means she failed to use her son's help in alleviating the sufferings of the family who was wronged by her to protect the love and faith her son had in her. I do believe in karmic justice and also that our kids suffer for our sins. Whatever RR and Vicki did to Ishwari's son was in a way what Ishwari did to the family who showed compassion to her when she was in dire need.

Neha found a sympathetic ear in Maami who tried to understand her which her mother never did. She genuinely cared for these kids and showed her caring side to Sona when she was injured during Diwali which Ishwari never did. During the infertility track both of them were equally bad.

Maami is also a product of Mamaji's neglect and disrespect wrt the love and care he shows to his sister which he failed to give to his wife and son. Even cactus has beautiful flowers. You will not get anything beautiful without effort or more correctly without nurturing it. RR spoiled Vicki because he was the only one who had been there for her. More than Maami and Vicki I would blame mamaji for his attitude like that of an Ostrich with its head in the sand.
