Dev was sharing his longing for her. But I think Sona must have got slightly irritated/jealous at the mention of his gfs but masked it well. Sona had said to Dev 'Mai samajh sakti hoon, tumhe waha Jatin aur mjhe sath mein dekh kar kaisa laga hoga'. This clearly tells how she felt when she saw him and Shruti at the hotel suite, also her stumped expression in the corridor. Now she would imagine each such scenario with each mention of his dates/gfs...(typical girls😆. Jalne ki boo behind the facade...😆)

1 thing I noticed dev still blindly trusts his family..extended burden gkb...d way he drank full glass...without even pondering y mami is so extra sweet??😕..again sonakshi for dev's rescue...

parallel 1st scene how sona took care of ill dev then I mean took him to d room etc...that was my 1 of fav devakshi scene n precap shows this 1 is gonna add😆

1 more parallel jabra doggy...we had puppy then...puppy is grown up to doggy now for sona...thank god🤣

Another contrast I would like to mention is her conversation with Elena in her room. Seven years ago, when Elena had said that caring is the first step to love, it had set Sona thinking about Dev's care for her. And now, she literally blasted on Elena saying her caring for Dev doesn't mean anything more.

Puppy became adult but khargosh turned to billi 😆 , more ferocious 😉 . Btw, during summer camp too, after coming from jungle ,dev mentioned sona as billi , saying to golu as " ek billi se ladayi ki ". During dev's stay in bose house , sona mentioned him as ganda sa , mota sa chooha . Ab aur kya kya ban na baki hai, yeh dono ko ? 😛

I know I said Dev & Sona are friends. This is more about how their inner being feels...

Dev & Sonakshi's souls have been crying out for each other... as if in a desert and only the other can quench this thirst. But for that, they had to open their hearts out... trust that they won't end up bruised and battered like last time.

For the first time I can feel they hear each other's words spoken in a love language so foreign to them and speak a foreign language at the same time. He needs her. And she can finally hear it. He hated the fact that she left, when all he needed, wanted and begged for was her. Last night, he spoke her language and asked her to stop. Dev's soul can be calmed down only by Sona, they both know it.

7 years ago Sonakshi had reached a point in their relationship where she felt there was no gas left in it. Dev kept telling her she is the best and she is always right... However, his actions confused her. Because (thanks Sam!) Dev was not looking at things from Sona's perspective. In the Bose house, when Dev stood up against Mrs Mondal, Sona realised that Dev does treat her family as his. She has that haq. And bingo, come Khatri, Sona claims her haq and in that process speaks Dev's love language (pyar haq deta hai).

They are temporarily at peace. Because they trusted each other with their raw emotions. There are no strings attached. They can define their own rules... bend them as they like. Build a solid base for trust and then decide where to next. Paris, Bahamas, Alibaug...

Dear Devakshi, Dance in this rain of understanding and compassion... and feel those colours of the rainbow and trust your rishta... whatever name you decide to give it. Paint your own rainbow with oranges, grey, blues, blacks, pink brocades, ripped denims and lots of love

PS: I am jumping the gun likely. Because we know Dev is intoxicated and might not recall what he said/says. The point however is, when we lose our senses, we speak the truth.

Did anybody watch the new SBAS segment. In that Dev goes to jail to meet Khatri. Khatri insults Ishwari, so Dev beats him up. The police save Khatri from Dev. Sonakshi gets angry at Dev's this action. So he apologizes and asks her to help him as he feels that she is the right person to deal with such things and he doesn't. She tells him she will help if he sheds his angry young man avatar and becomes her Dev like he was 7 years ago.
