I felt this quote defined Devakshi. Their parched souls are quenching their thirst with each other's presence. They have both realized that even though their story was far from the fairy tale they had imagined will always remain their only story. They believe that their relationship have now reached a satisfactory level to everyone concerned and want to sustain this status quo. The knowledge that Sona is and will always remain only his prompted Dev to slip back into his husband mode which neither Sona nor Dev was ready for. They are at peace with themselves and are happy that they have got their best friend back and are trying to rein in their heart from getting out of their control to save themselves from heartbreak since they are not sure they can survive yet another one. But were these two ever able to control their hearts once they started listening to it? The more they interact and heal each other, Sona's Dev and Dev's Khargosh' would also make their appearance. They were strong enough to with stand the worst of them. Are they strong enough to with stand the best of them?
Elena is looking more and more desolate. The only person she seems to at least respect and care for in that house seems to be Dev. Golu is the only reason for her to remain there and she has nowhere to go and no one else to blame other than herself. Felt like she herself doesn't know how she ended up like this, not knowing where it started and where it will end just like the dresses she wears.
Even though GKB used to disrespect both Sona and her profession, she herself knew that this was essential for a healthy way of life. But she equated it with rich people's life style and was jealous of Ishwari whom she thought have attained that status. Her sense of entitlement to everything Ishwari owns is in a way her answer to all the rebukes and belittlement by her husband who in a way worshiped his sister and made RR feel that she is not worthy of them. Now Ishwari is there only in name in the house in her name but is ruled by RR. This is what was questioned by Dev when he said that it is his house and Asha was his guest and she can remain there contrary to what RR said. They have more to lose now and their games have also become more vicious. Absence of Ishwari is what is affecting their game now. She was the perfect foil behind whom they played. Now they have lost that protection and are forced to show themselves.
Absences of both Ishwari and Bijoy have been highlighted literally while showing the progression of the Devakshi relationship. This will surely up the drama quotient once they are back.
