Thank you. That's what I have been saying. I am not saying that Sonakshi can't defend herself. But just because a woman can defend herself does not justify a man's manhandling.

Dev has proved many times that he is chauvinist who just conveniently turns liberal.

For example, when he talks about women's respect, he means women of his family but the same he never extended to his wife.

When he talks about women's right to live their life even if it means leaving a bad marriage, he means his sister but he blamed Sona for the same reason.

When he talks about respect for elders he means again, his mother having right to interfere in his marriage and take all decisions about his relationship but he resents when his wife's father do the same.

So he always had one rule for his family (which Sonakshi was never a part of) and another for everyone else.

When a man is raised by someone as regressive as Ishwari, he can't be anything but a chauvinist because he is used to extra privileges and as I keep quoting, "When one is used to privilege, equality feels like oppression."

So when Sonakshi asked for a swing or do a minor chores around the house together, he went crying to Mummy.

I don't see any positive growth in him now compared to season one. In fact, all I see is that now the spineless Mamma's boy is now a grade A jackass.

Only a stupid woman will take this useless excuse of manhood back. Now we just have to see just what Sonakshi learned in 7 years.

Sonakshi should get the best doormat award of the year. Eww She started playing dhoti-dhoti with Dev. She could have easily walked out. She should answer back that how would you face soha after spoiling the party? Today, he twisted arm, Next he'll break her bangles, then bang her with wall, list goes on.

Nice update Tia. I was laughing when Dev said Bose family drama!! Asli drama toh Dixit family drama hota hai, Dev Babu. Just wait for few more days and then you will see the high melodrama of Dixits and Tripathis. Yeh Bose and Ghosh can't stand any chance against the mockery, deceit, manipulations, emotional talks, Hindi muhawares and loads of lies of Dixit-Tripathis.

Seriously girls why are we only blaming Dev today when Sona is also equally responsible for this. Dev is a hopeless case and she very well knows that but still she gave the idea of staying with Dev. She could have easily asked him to come out in underpants and create scene in front of his daughter or she cud have made noise. Then also Soha wud have known what kind of jerk her father is.

But no she is liking this behaviour of Dev. Vaise bhi Dev is so handsome, full of tashan, threatening, one who manhandles, mamma's boy and simply irresistible. Also he still loves her like a man loves a woman. After all these are the qualities that we look out for in our partners na. That's why the fandom is going gaga about these tashan scenes and there wud be many who want partners like Dev Dixit.

I agree.. The day when Dev misbehaved with her, if she had slapped him then Dev would have kept his distance.. No.. Sona wanted to be touched by him and feel him close and make him do all this drama in the name of romance..

It happens only in our dreams. In reality ...yes, a girl like Sona would have slapped someone like Dev when he misbehaved or behaved rudely with her. But in the show, she still loves him and is not angry enuf and Dev has good looks, which account for every misdeed he does. Dev can manhandle her, twist her, tie her, lock her...its his haq which her hidden love and his good looks give him. His love is making him do all this where as Sona's love is making her not slap him yet. Thts the basic difference in their love.

And slaps are reserved only for Bijoy Bose 🤢

Btwn noticed, Ishwari -- the name literally means Ishwar female...Goddess.
Dev -- the name literally means God.

God and Goddess are never wrong.
There must be a reason why CVs chose to name the characters as such. It shows where their bias is coming from. They are actually in love with Dev-Ish. 😆
