The next day Sona left by an early morning flight and Dev left by a flight a couple of hours later. Sona dropped into Ishwari Nivas at night to check in on Ishwari and found her to be better. She did not see Dev around. As she was getting into the car, something caused her to look up and she saw him at the window of their old room looking at her. He had a very very tender expression on his face and he did not say anything. She gave him a small smile and got into the driver's seat and drove off. As she reached home, she got a message on her phone from Dev - it read "There was a reason why I did not come down. I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from kissing you again and again. Drive carefully and message me when you reach home." Sona understood very well what was happening to them... they were falling in love all over again. But that was a complication they did not want this wanted to avoid this time.

She messaged him about her safe arrival and was about to get in when she got a call on her mobile. She saw the number and picked it up and said "Hi Deepak. Did you have any luck?" Deepak said something and Sona immediately said "Lets meet first thing tomorrow morning at 8.30 AM but not at my office. Meet me in the coffee shop of Taj Mansingh". She disconnected the call and taking a deep breath went in. She put Soha to sleep after reading her a story. After Soha slept she messaged Dev "I need to meet you tomorrow urgently. Meet me at the apartment at 1 PM". There was no response from Dev as he was asleep already. But there was a reply from him in the morning when she got up. They agreed to meet at the apartment at 1 PM.

Sona had an hour long meeting with Deepak in the morning. She came back home and worked from home and a little later left to meet Dev at the apartment. It was 5 minutes past 1 when she opened the door and found that Dev was already there. He came upto her and kissed her and asked "You missed me already?" She smiled and said "I have something very important to give you" and she handed him a bag. He smiled and taking the bag from her asked "What is there in this?" She only replied "See it for yourself". Dev looked surprised and went and sat down on one of the chairs and took out the thick file from the bag and started going through it. He started reading and he was stunned and he continued going through the file for the next fifteen twenty minutes and Sona waited patiently. He finally looked up and said "Where and how did u manage to get these documents?"

Sona said "I suspected something was not quite right. When I realised that you had nothing actually to do in getting us thrown out of the house, I hired a private investigator to do some research. And he has come up with all this. Its obvious that Vicky has managed to get steal huge sums of money from a company that you set up and now has been buying up shares from the market and now owns approximately 40% of your company. He has also managed to get Ishwari Niwas transferred to his name by getting maa to sign a piece of paper. You need to act fast to save your company."

Dev was stunned and he said "I really don't know how to thank you now". Sona smiled wryly and said "you can thank me later. Now I think you should speak to your lawyer". He called his lawyer and called him to the apartment. The lawyer Parth Seth came across and was surprised to find Sona there. He was hesitating to speak in front of Sona and sensing that Sona decided to leave. She said "Dev I must go now. Call me once you are done". As she turned to leave, Dev caught her hand and said "Please stay back. I need you by my side right now". She nodded and sat down on the sofa next to him. Parth went through the documents and said that "You need to act fast Dev. You need to buy the shares from the market and increase your stake and for that you would need about a 100 crores at least. Dev quickly called his accountant and realised that he wouldn't be able to raise that kind of money so quickly. He was wondering what to do when Sona spoke up "I can lend you that money. I was saving up for an expansion next year but right now we need to save your company first".

Dev looked stunned at her and said "I cant take money from you." "Don't be silly Dev - take the money and save your company right now." She took out her mobile and spoke to her banker and got him to transfer the money to Dev right away. The lawyer left and Dev and Sona were alone. He took her hands in his and said "I don't know how will I ever be able to repay this debt to you". Sona smiled and said "Don't worry I have my own recovery mechanisms..." and gave him a smile. Over the next few days Dev managed to buy the majority shares from the market and thus prevented a hostile takeover by Vicky.
