Early in the morning, Sona woke up and checked the time on her mobile - it was 5 AM and still dark outside. Slowly she untangled herself from Dev's arms and got out of the bed. She went into the bathroom and had a nice long shower. Coming out of the shower, she looked at herself in the mirror. It was obvious from her face that she had made love for a major part of the night - her face was flushed and glowing... not to mention anything of the various love bites on her body. She caressed one deep crimson one on her right breast and smiled. She wrapped herself in a towel and came out. She went to the window and drawing the curtain a little she looked out. She didn't realise when Dev came and stood next to her. He placed a kiss on her bare shoulder and said "Good morning" Sona said "Good morning Dev. I think we must get going". She gave him a strained smile and picked up her clothes from the floor and went to the bathroom to change. By the time she came out Dev was dressed too. He freshened up in the bathroom and they made the bed together. While making the bed, both of them remembered the last night and the unsaid unspoken feelings of love between them. They both knew very well that it was not lust but very deep love but both did not wish to talk about it.

Dev then said "You know what Sona I had bought this apartment for us ... I wanted to gift this to you on our first wedding anniversary but unfortunately we were not together by then. So I did not tell anyone about this and this became my haven. I come here sometimes and spend time here. Makes me feel I am with you. You are the first person I have brought here". Sona looked at him surprised "Thanks Dev". Dev opened the top drawer of the side table and gave her an envelope. She looked surprised and asked him "What is this?" Dev said "Open it and see". Sona opened the envelope and found a key. Dev continued "This is a key to this apartment. Please keep it. We never know when we may need to use it again". Sona silently put it in her handbag and they left. They decided to leave separately. Dev dropped her back at the office from where she returned home in her car and Dev continued to his house.

As soon as he reached home, his mother immediately wanted to know as to where he was the whole night. He just smiled and said "I had some urgent work to take care of maa and I was at office. I need to leave again. I will take a shower and come. Please ask Kichu bhaiya to keep my breakfast ready". Saying that he went upstairs and got into his room and locked the door. He took off his shirt and looked at himself in the mirror. He thought of last night and smiled. His timid shy Sona had become a wildcat - he checked the marks on his right shoulder and else where on his body. He had been away from Sona for maybe an hour and yet he was missing her already. He could still feel her body againt his, soft and fragrant. She still smelt the same he thought to himself. He had a shower and came down. When he came down, he found Sona was already there and was checking on his mother. She was in the cool distant avatar and for some reason it turned him on even more. He loved pretending to be distant from her in front of others. It was some kind of role play that they both were enjoying.

He noticed that the ice between his mother and her had broken somewhat and at least his maa was treating Sona like her doctor and today surprisingly offered her tea which Sona accepted. Then his Mamiji came and made some unsavoury comments which Sona coolly ignored and continued checking messages on her mobile. When they finished her tea, she took her leave and left. Dev was tempted to follow her and kiss her senseless outside but decided against it. He went to the dining table and had his breakfast in silence.

When he left, his mother asked him "Can you bring Soha home this weekend?" He nodded and left on his Harley Davidson for work. He reached office and got down to work immediately as he knew that if he laid his eyes on Sona even once he wouldn't be able to concentrate on work. He didn't take a break till lunch. After lunch, someone walked in and stood in front of his table. He didn't look up and said "Yes... What is it?" and looked up and was surprised to see Sona there. She smiled and said "I wanted to know how you did you like my act in the morning?" and gave him a cheeky wink.

He got up and came close to her from behind and whispered in her ear "I wanted to take you to my room and make love to you all over again". The old Sona would have been embarrassed but this Sona looked into his eyes and said "We will see Mr. Dixit" and walked out his room but not before turning back to look at him once from his door.

The next few days went by fast and Sona was busy with Soha's exams and in the weekend Dev took her to Ishwari Niwas. After four days, Sona had to go to Mumbai for a conference for a couple of days. She informed Dev about it.

He spent the first day with Soha at the Bose residence and left in the evening saying that he had some work to take care of. Meanwhile in Mumbai, Sona was just going to settle into bed for the night. She was dressed in a pair of pink pyjamas and a sleeveless t Shirt. She had just finished speaking to Soha and learnt that Dev had spent the day with her before leaving around four. She also spoke to her parents and kept the phone down. Just then the door bell rang and Sona checked the time before opening the door. It was 9.30 PM and she wondered who it was. She opened the door hesitantly and was surprised to see Dev outside. She was quiet for a few minutes till Dev brought her out of her reverie by saying "Will you not call me in?" She silently moved aside and let him in. He looked at her in her eyes and said softly "I missed you and that's why I came". Sona cleared her throat and said "I don't know what to say Dev".

Dev pulled her to the bed and made her sit down on it. He sat down on the floor and said "Well don't say anything". He leaned and placed a kiss on her lips. She was surprised initially but kissed him back and within minutes they ended up tearing each others' clothes off and continued kissing each other passionately. Dev managed to whisper "You know you are much curvier than earlier and I am loving it ". Sona blushed for a minute and hid her face in his chest. Dev kissed the top of her head and they continued exploring each other's bodies and leaving marks of love on each other. They continues kissing each and every inch of their bodies till they both experienced a peak... a release together. When they lay on the bed together later, Sona whispered "Thanks for coming Dev" and all Dev replied was "The pleasure is all mine Ms. Bose". As they on the bed in each other's arms it was almost as if they had become more passionate in the last 7 years. They just could not have enough of each other. Although by an unspoken rule they had decided to keep this relationship purely physical they both knew in their hearts that this unnamed relation was slowly turning out to be much more emotional and deep than probably what their marriage was.

The next day when Sona returned to her room after the conference in the evening it was decorated with candles and there was a table with her favourite food and there was also a bottle of champagne chilling in an ice bucket. It was beautiful and magical. She dropped her bag and laptop on the table by the door and went towards him. Dev turned and smiled at her. He kissed her and took her to the table. She sat down and he uncorked the champagne. They sipped the champagne silently and had their dinner. Then Dev switched on some music and they slow danced to all their favourite numbers. They made love after that and after the frenzy of their lovemaking the last two times, this time it was slow and passionate. They lay in each others arms later both silent and awake as they knew they would be getting back to reality the next day.

Though I am happy that Devakshi are together I am

worried about the consequences of their intimacy.

Both are adults and parents of a child.

Why can't they face their parents and inform their decision?

Actually that is exactly what i wanted to bring out in this story. They are so badly hurt from the the marriage that though they love each other deeply either of them dont want to make the first move. They are both in denial of the depth of their feelings. right now they know that things are still not ok between the families. This time that they spend together is an expression of what they actually feel for each other ,...its love and not lust. I think thats the big difference between what they were before and what they are now. Now when they are together they are concentrating on each other only...

I also wanted them to show something like this on the show and i am sure that Shaheer and Erica would enact it briliantly as there is a certain physicality involved here and all actors may not be comfortable with that.

But then this is primetime in India - so i dont think the storyline would be so bold!!

Loving the progress...Good to see that Devakshi are open with their desires and love for each other and its definetely not luat..

Sometimes when you can't express your emotions verbally, can be purely expressed through physical intimacy when deeply in love...it heals your scars to an extent..

They are bound to get emotionally attached now which is very natural between 2 people in love...its just that they are hesitant to accept that they need ecah other in every aspect..
