It takes two to tango. If Asha had to face an insulting ishwari and not dida, and Dev dixit 1.0 instead of the supportive but angry Bijoy, then she may have been right in justifying a current nobody by downgrading her husband.
The best point is being flawed is a virtue that Dixits carry like an armour and poor boses have to keep justifying it every single time.
It is not hard to believe that Bijoy could be a difficult man to deal with, but a character certificate from Dev was not needed.that was hyperventilating for his dear Maata, yet again. Not even once he mentioned Golu in his rant to Asha, only Maa Maa and Maa. So I don't know from where this thought came that he is more upset because golu was involved!
The Gyan Asha gave could have been saved for another day - what actually happened was that she apologised for her husband's behaviour and got further insulted by Dev who question her marriage to Bijoy -a naakaam pati questioning another pati!

I just watched the episode again. And this time my take wasn't even that Dev was proving a point. I think Dev always had the intention of folding his hands and apologizing. But it came across the way it did because he was controlling his anger. I feel it was a dramatization for us the audience and the Boses as to "what would Dev do?" but maybe not an issue in Dev's mind.

Sam, thanks for putting into words the thougths that were at the back of my head. I feel it is extremely important that Sonakshi should not lose focus of the common factor -- Suhana. The only reason maami and Vickky were/are able to succeed is because of the unity they have towards achieving their common goal -- Dev's money and riches. They were helped in this by the lack of unity between Dev, Sonakshi and Ishwari where Ishwari was interested only in seperating Dev and Sonakshi so that it would only be her and Dev in her team, while Sonakshi wanted to be an equal member in that trio group and Dev wanted to be with Sonakshi and Ishwari in different worlds.

But with Suhana, it has changed. Now no matter what she is the common goal for Dev, Sonakshi or Suhana. Even in yesterday's episode Ishwari decided not to heed to Vickky's offer of legal help as it would affect Dev and Suhaana's relationship. It is true that she still likes to not have Sonakshi in that equation, butif she sees that Suhana is truly unhappy due to Sonakshi not being in that equation, Ishwari might not immidiately start loving Sonakshi, but she will definitely tolerate her enough not to upset Suhana in any way. Sonakshi as long as she keeps faith in Dev as Soha's dad and is honest with him and trusts him that he will not be involved in such things as Vickky or maami try to paint, it will be hard for the troublemaker duo to create rifts.

What I am curious is what will bring the crack in the unity in Vickky and maami's relation. I mean they have been successful so far as they are working together and in a way trust each other. But what will bring in the muich needed rift between them where they start operating seperately resulting in their plans negating each other.

Sam : Such a refreshing take on the last episode. Made me see so many things, specially about Sonakshi in a new light.

i think the episode confirms that officially Dev and Sona never divorced. Perhaps the situation of loss of house for Bose fueled so much stress that they had to figure out a place to shelter themselves before putting themselves in a legal course. Dev never bothered probably because it wouldn't have mattered to him. He wasn't going to marry anyone else.

March 30, 2017 - Thursday

One more episode tomorrow and the weekend begins! 😊 The best part of the episode was the new background score. 👏 What I have always loved in this soap is the music - original and hummable. Even the lyrics are commendable. The title track and "Tu Mujhe main mujhse zyaada hain!" When post-leap started I felt horrendous listening to the revamped version of an oldie. Finally, it was replaced. 😃 Now, it's back to good old days again! But, makes me wonder, if the Creatives wanted to re-kindle the romance between the leads, the leap was not required. Hmm...Suhana was required, I guess.

The second best thing about the episode was the dialogues between FIL-SIL. Bijoy's voice was toned down and I could hear the old Bijoy at his best. I laughed at the scene. It was refreshing.

I felt the dhoti scene was enacted well by both leads (was it required at all?) and the reference given to help via Internet was a good move! The FB of gajra with the current Dhoti scene was intermingled well to reflect that some things don't change. And if one remembers such small incidents of the past, the relationship is worth giving another shot!! 😉

Ishwari refusing to let Elena go to the Bose home seemed justified to me since no relatives were allowed from the Dixit mansion.

Why is Sonakshi's hair so unkept?

Suhana looked adorable and I would have loved to see Golu dressed as a Bong! My cutie pie.

I think all that manhandling was a reminder of sexual tension popping in and out between dev and sona. don't agree with it appearing like that though but then this is indian tv.

I too feel the same Durjoy Dutta pulled similar stunt in Sadda Haq and I think in the end the leads were shown married after the leap.

Ps: Even some dialogues and scenes are copied from Sadda haq.
