Posting here one of my threads on Bijoy Baba...since I didn't find anyone bringing it out, on how the makers have made Bijoy be reason to get Dev-Sona decide to stay together, as he was also a reason for the slapgate incident which led to the second breakup of Dev-Sona. Not infact Baba, his impulsive nature, is the main reason.

Soha kee height? 3 feet

Dev & sona kee height? 6ish feet

I think there was zara zara touch me touch me already happening and Dev is sooo sanskari he had to go and sleep on the couch. Why did he not go and find the guest room (he could have asked saurabh!?) or sleep in the living room (Baba waking up tadke paanch baje and seeing him on the living room couch would have earned him a million brownie points. But then how would his daughter get that oh-so-uncomfortable-not-so-perfect morning scene?)

Dev's phone was vibrating if you ask me, not Sona's nasal passage 😳

I agree that baba's haste meant Devakshi had to figure out a living arrangement pronto. However, like I said in my previous post (built up on Sam's pendulum post), he is acting like this partly out of fear but mainly out of lack of control on a situation that he will have to eventually handle (because he is the father figure here). Sona did something very similar that night with the sleeping arrangements. Sona and Dev need to very quickly understand that if Soha isn't "told" what is happening, she will tell you what needs to happen. She has done this twice already.

Soha is really behaving like a brat. Dev to earn brownie points and to make up for lost time is trying to fulfil every wish of hers and Sona is forced to cede for the fear of looking the bad parent.

The situation will worsen when they shift to IN because Ishwari will try to poison the child's mind and Sona will have two options either let the child think that she is the heartless witchy mother or try to prove that she is even more lenient. So we will have a child being spoilt to death and it's entire psyche being affected courtesy the tug of war.

Dev is immature, Ishwari is selfish, Sona is helpless and the ultimate loser is Soha.

Some how I am. Not agree with your point. Soha is, doing the same think which he believe and she is not asking a big things like gifted or some thing like that. She has a firm believe that her mother and father can be with each other peacefully. She is small but not blind. This stitution is the outcome of many sitution she has missed many things so and here sona is saying no to every practical solution by dev so soha is coming in the picture . if sona has agree to go to guest room till soha got to sleep and if they do not fight then the sitution must be different. Honestly for the first time she is having her mother and father together so she want to fulfill all her dreams related to that. And it was the first day of dev and sona as parents so I think for them it required time to understand how they are going to act. I strongly feel she is not spoiled only she is trying to fulfill what she has missed and subconsciously dev and sona also knows this that's why they are agree for her demands

@mehraan - They are divorced and Asha is a devakshi shipper. In her mind, they are husband and wife.

@sjain/mahua - I am so with you on the romance in front of a 6 year old. The fact that Dev & Sonakshi were not even embarrassed makes me very uncomfortable. Many 6 year olds sleep with their parents, some do not... However, I am sure the "man on top" never happens with the 6 year old watching/catching them.

I think Soha's comment about it being perfect was to say that it's perfect to be able to see my mumma and papa first thing in the morning. I hope to God she doesn't understand what her mumma papa were doing/looked like they were doing.

@Deepa - That is cute. By the way, I absolutely loved your post on Golu. Would like to link it here if you are okay with that. It brought me to tears

The night scene followed by the massage sequence had a reverse throwback (if there is such a thing) to their first wedding night...

They ended up sleeping in separate "beds" but still had a romantic encounter. Sona did not turn her back to Dev this time, there was "love & understanding" between them (aka soha) and they were not interrupted at night.

Next day Sona was in a "ghunghat" and she came out of the bathroom and devakshi ended having another romantic encounter with Dev getting to touch & smell (her hair were freshly washed) Sona

Thoughts?

This is my take

The child is crossing her boundaries. From the child's point of view agree whatever she is wishing for is quite innocent and simple because she doesn't understand adult complexities. Sh also might not realise that living with Ishwari might be very painful for her mother or sleeping on the same bed with her father might lead to emotional torture for her.

From the viewer point of view we are happy because she is being the catalyst for the love story.

But if we look at things only from the point of view of what is right, then the child has to learn that she can't arm twist her parents whenever she wants. Children always do that, they always push their boundaries. It is the parents job to demarcate them clearly.

Here due to circumstances, Soha is able to push her boundaries in a way which is not right for her.

Today, she is small and so her needs are innocent and small. But the lesson has been imbibed in the brain. So next time when she wants to spend a night out or have a boyfriend, just emotionally blackmail. Today it is a trip to kolkata, tomorrow it might be suicide threat or running away from home.

Children worsen during the teens till maturity sets in. Making their entire Base weak is never a good idea.

I would suggest that we should wait for the Dixit house to unfold. Ishwari is 100% going to try to use Soha by being extra good and Soha after all is only a child. She might in the long run refuse to stay without mummy but for some small points of time she is going to be affected and might hurt Sona irrevocably with her words. After all a child is being made to feel as if she is the boss and all elders should cater to her.

I seriously hope that Dev lashes out at Ishwari not because his daughter complains, but because Ishwari uses his daughter to hurt her mother

@DQ...My doubts pertaining to their status is due to Ashas reinstating twice yesterday that they r hubby wife which cant be unintentional ...Bijoy could have corrected it but he was mum about it,which means he agrees to it!..Secondly the milder reaction of all be the Duxits or Boses...as to how an ex could stay into a house, leave that sharing a room??.Its a big thing actually ! .Bijoy was once again restrained by Asha its not correct to stand n hear the conversation...Both the times it was emphasised through their actions though Devakshi must have been separated but still they are tied down in a nupitial bond...technically n legally...So it was not wrong...When EGKB was clearing out Devs cupboard For Sona,here it was implied again...Though Sona left n walked away from marraige,but she still own rights..

@Payal...My thoughts exactly...I still have an issue with that Kolkatta thing...Though Soha is justified from her end to see her parents 2gther but still her ways n routes to it is technically n morally not right...Theres a stepping line as to how much should be entertained n not..!
