True dev didn't harm sona as he only wanted her to have a loveless life
He has no other motive

He's taking full advantage of the fact that Ishwari doesn't like Sona and hence forces her to be rude with his mother
Well Jay is not into the picture yet but will soon be coming into play
He has his own share of role to play which he will be playing when the correct time comes


At the moment all i would say is let dev play out his hatred entirely because only afterr that will he be able to start a fresh life with Sona
