Finally managed to read through the entire thread and what amazing posts I read here 👏 Hats off to every one of you, I may not be in agreement with some points but still accept my "super likes " for the mere way of writing them in such matured way👏

Friday's episode is nothing short of a miracle for me. I was bowled by the sudden layers makers have inflicted in that single episode and wanted to pen my thoughts as soon as I saw the episode. What a perfect ending to the not so perfect start of the week 👏 Post might be long, read at own risk😆
Dev never had to slog for any perfect relationship as he was always given when demanded/asked including Sonakshi who ran to his arms the day he confessed. But today his own blood asked him to prove his perfection to be a father and that shook "The Dev Dixit" for the first time. Had Sonakshi raised this doubt 7 years back, both won't be standing here today heartbroken by their very own tiny Kargosh !
Leaving aside the age factor and the morality of asking perfection by a 6 yr old, I loved how makers showed young children tend to believe what they see in face value. Suhana for the past 6 years has seen only one father figure and that was Bijoy and for her he is the father value for perfection, hence its not a surprise that she wanted to know whether her "Papa" is at same level or not. This very statement showed how much she missed a father figure indirectly in that tight knit Bose family. Why else a child wishes for a father to be perfect only when he drops in school, asks about dinner , loves at every step, etc etc ..? Somewhere down the line Suhana missed that love Bijoy showers on Sona😳
Another mind-blowing confession which I don't know how many of you thought like me is Dev's explanation for Suhana's question " Why couldn't you call momma and figured out I was there ?". Well we all know that he doesn't know her existence but that doesn't justify him for not approaching his estranged loved wife and that hit Dev as well. See his reply " Miss Bose ( I felt he addressed both Sona and Suhana here 😉) I know you are very angry on me, I even don't know what should I do to reduce your anger..but now please give me a chance, I will try to my fullest ability to prove you am not a bad person". Is he hinting Sonakshi that he is ready to woo her back and asking for a second chance for taking her granted the first time? Also when he said " I know you think that I didn't take care of your mother, hence couldn't take care of you" , are makers hinting he did approach Sona behind her back to help but everyone thinks otherwise?
He bares his sadness impulsively to Sona how he is left alone for the second time after his momentary return of happiness only to be snapped back to reality that he was sharing this to the same person who was the cause of his loneliness the first time😆 And Sona gives back which even Dev accepts till she mentions how "her baaba was affected when his maa visited" and that triggers his anger how one father's sentiment is hailed and other's brushed aside a moments ago!!
Just like Ishwari who takes pride in her upbringing, when he heard Sona oozing prideness in Suhana's upbringing he snaps why a father role is sidelined because he knows how much flawed he is by his mother's so called perfect upbringing and so is Sona now and he needs to prove that to her, hence the challenge.
Trip and lift is another beautiful symbolism here showing how he will be there by her side to save her from falling and added bonus to show how Bijoy is not a perfect father as everyone portraying here because he couldn't save his daughter from pain all the time and Dev's proud face to Boses when he said " Take care of your daughter" said it all which in turn impressed Suhana as well. So Dev's entry to Suhana's heart can be achieved only via Sona's 😉
The same event showed Bijoy how flawed he is as a father and hence the insecurity peeking around Suhana because he knows how Dev can charm his way back into his daughter's life and he will be left wondering !
Now the same Dev who snarled at Ishwari for barging Boses house to see Suhana suddenly mellows after his talk with Golu and invites his mother himself why? Because how can he will become a good father himself as Suhana wants when he can't understand the feeling of his own mother? He never says whether he forgave her or not but simply brushes the issue aside because he is trying to understand a mother's heart - Sona's here to be precise😳. He can forgive Ishwari but can never forget her mistakes which was very glaringly shown in that scene.
Sona's illusion of being perfect is the result of that "Dev's right to be Suhana's life" speech to Bijoy but when the day that right indeed comes to force am sure makers will show her flaws too 😳.
To become a good father, Dev needs to show Suhana his roots which is "Ishwari" like Bijoy and Asha are roots on Boses side whom she adores. His action may be stupid but it proved how willing Suhana was to see her father's side of family when she immediately joins him momentarily. But glad she remembers her values in an instant to teach Dev the right way! Also CVs are touching "My mom knows best and I live for her" nerve of Dev and introspect himself through Suhana which Sona failed to show him or he even failed to realize himself !!
A man who never sways away from his ways , bows toward the right direction for the first time seeking permission from the mother of his child straight through the front door !!👏
Suhana is the binding force of Dev , Sona , Boses and Ishwari, who is going to show how each one is flawed inspite of them taking pride in their perfection ...and friday's episode is the starting point of this realization !! Well done CVs 👏 !!
