P.S: Thank you Latha. It was a nightmare this time and ended up going to the hospital. Much better now.

Aye mam, got the point.😊
Take care and get well soon. Come back with full force.🤗

For me, it's Shaheer and Erica's fabulous performance. I am honestly in love with this guy's voice modulation. I had never seen any of their previous works before.

I think for KRPKAB it's more of a team effort...from kichubhaiya to dadi all have marked their presence through their unique performance...dialogues also stay with us forever...apt casting is another reason..I don't think any Indian serial has such a melodious title track and bgm...lead pairs chemistry is marvellous...it looks like they are living as the characters...PH takes care of the minutest details also into account like Tagore' s pic in Bose house etc...all together its a visual treat...yup there are bloopers but pardonable only

So many interpretations on that dialogue by Sona 😆
I agree with you Latha n Sam that it was kind of twisted. But then just like Dev's dialogue that he feels when she is hurt this one also had personal reference. If for Dev it was his inability to prevent her getting hurt because of his mother, here Sona might also have said it along the same line. She has been trying to prove herself these past seven years that whatever he has said on that fateful day was wrong. She was not a gold digger, didn't marry him for her nikamma brother, she is also capable of making money i.e in crores using her professional capabilities and then she can be a mother and a good one at that. She came to prove her worth as a woman that day and when asked to turn back didn't inform about the baby for this reason. In her mind she have now answered or proved all his allegations to be false. So this final one now that she is a liar, that also she had to prove isn't it?

P.S: Haven't read all the posts on yesterday's episode. Just read Sam's reply on Latha's post. Having one of the worst migraines. But just had to reply. 😆

Geena, so sorry hear you weren't well and glad that you are doing better! I am honoured that you felt compelled to reply.

I totally agree with your response, but not with reference to this set of dialogues. The way I heard it, Sona was implying that Dev had never trusted her and she was always forced to prove herself. An explanation I found a little more convincing was that Sona is conflating Dev and Ishwari here. Ishwari certainly demanded that Sona prove herself time and again and never took her at face value. Over the years, Sona has convinced herself that Dev did everything Ishwari said and never stood apart from her when this is simply not the whole story. When he questioned her, it triggered that assumption that Dev is still nothing but an extension of Ishwari. In the past, Sona didn't recognise the ways Dev did resist because he didn't at important junctures; in the present, she has no idea of the changes that have taken place.

One of the major personal hurdles Sona has to overcome is giving Ishwari too much importance in Dev's and her equation. That was emphasised both by the flashback and this dialogue. In order to do this, she has to think as Sona and not as Bijoy's daughter. Where Bijoy's daughter kept repeating "vo meri beti hai," enraging Dev and giving him a reason to fight, Sona implored him by saying, "she's our baby girl" making him part of her fight, for Soha's happiness and neutralising the war between the two of them. Sona, in turn, came out when she saw clearly that Dev was Ishwari's victim, not her accomplice, and how hurt he was by Ishwari's actions. These two are so good for each other when they aren't playing their parents' mouthpieces that it's painful to wach them fight against each other and thereby fight against their own happiness. 😭

For me, this is the only show I have seen till date that has not strayed away from it's plot. Usually shows promote a premise and plot but eventually stray away from it because of ratings or such. This show has stuck to the triangle of mom, son and his love and still is sticking to that regardless of lack of romance which was only present during courtship period.

I think this show is the Humsafars of Indian television shows if that makes sense.

That is a beautiful perspective Sam. Dev n Ishwari as a single entity again. Now I understood what Latha was implying 😃
