I also believe that Sona is going to act as a bridge between Dev and Soha, now that she's aware that Dev never turned them away 6 years back. She finally might get through Soha's dilemma and guilt, and convince her that it's okay to know about her father and spend time with him, and that it doesn't affect the mother-daughter relationship in any way.

Looking forward to the coming week.

Also wanted to know everybody's take on a custody case track? Do you think we'll witness something like this on our show?

I personally feel we might not, but you never know.

I feel the show has a couple of months left in terms of storytelling, there's a lot more that can be explored. Still can't get enough of this show!

I totally agree with your response, but not with reference to this set of dialogues. The way I heard it, Sona was implying that Dev had never trusted her and she was always forced to prove herself. An explanation I found a little more convincing was that Sona is conflating Dev and Ishwari here. Ishwari certainly demanded that Sona prove herself time and again and never took her at face value. Over the years, Sona has convinced herself that Dev did everything Ishwari said and never stood apart from her when this is simply not the whole story. When he questioned her, it triggered that assumption that Dev is still nothing but an extension of Ishwari. In the past, Sona didn't recognise the ways Dev did resist because he didn't at important junctures; in the present, she has no idea of the changes that have taken place.

One of the major personal hurdles Sona has to overcome is giving Ishwari too much importance in Dev's and her equation. That was emphasised both by the flashback and this dialogue. In order to do this, she has to think as Sona and not as Bijoy's daughter. Where Bijoy's daughter kept repeating "vo meri beti hai," enraging Dev and giving him a reason to fight, Sona implored him by saying, "she's our baby girl" making him part of her fight, for Soha's happiness and neutralising the war between the two of them. Sona, in turn, came out when she saw clearly that Dev was Ishwari's victim, not her accomplice, and how hurt he was by Ishwari's actions. These two are so good for each other when they aren't playing their parents' mouthpieces that it's painful to wach them fight against each other and thereby fight against their own happiness. 😭

@Ssam & geena...pl recall the scene in S1 where Dev and Sona argues when Dev removes Ranbir from his job and emphatically states that he is correct in his decision...however he obliges to Neha when she says she doesn't want Ranbir's brother's kids to go through a deprived childhood like them...In their confrontation on soha, When Sona used the same reason immediately he realises his mistakes and decides not to messup his daughter's life...I'm not accusing that Sona has also used to Dixit's "emotionally trapping the opponent strategy" but would like to applause her as has become wise now and knows how to handle Dixits

@DQ how you are so sure Dev doesn't celebate? To validate your statement we need adequate conclusive proof.🤣

P.S: I too believe that Dev didn't remain celibate these 7 years. It is just joining the dots. 😆 The CV's are clever 🤣

Some things started disappearing after Sona came back like ripped jeans n alcohol. Now just ponder on the rest. And his mobile was not in the vibrating mode before. But now it is 😆

As for conclusive evidence, @drcs, that is the whole style of season 2. It's all left to viewers' imagination and thought process. Geena gave enough pointers

hi I'm silent reader of this thread .I really enjoy unbiased views on this thread .I hv a doubt Dev loves kids n having physical relationship too past 7 years as per many viewers so I'm not getting it y he din hv any kid with any of his gfs .n he is very rich y any of his exs never took advantage of his casual relationship with them or may be in future makers can show one of his gfs come to ishwari niwas with his kid n mahan sona will accept Dev n his gfs' kid n it's really weird he is having physical relationship with many girls but he gets angry with sonakshi n jatin's closeness
