Ye marriage toh break honi hi thi.

Honestly when Sona started to venture out for that 'Best Bahu' competition, I was really taken aback and disappointed. 🤢 She truly didn't believe in all those things (like Dev said). So what's the point of doing something against your belief just to impress anyone. 🥱

If Sona had started showing her displeasure since the very beginning or even better, if she had asked for Dev's redemption and tested his loyalty for her before marriage, they would have had a happier life. Main toh pehle hi kehti thi Baal Vivah allowed nahi hona chahiye, lo, toot gayi shaadi 😛.

I was pissed when she accepted marriage offer without making dev do any efforts .Upar se Ashaji ki precious advice on love.asha ko laga bijoy jaise usko pyaar karta hain, dev bhi karta hoga.her sentence was "jab sab uske against honge toh her love will stand by her." End main Kya Hua jab stand lene ki baat aayi uske pyaar ki ,pyaare pati ne hi ghar se nikal Diya.🤢 i don't know if its Cv's brain or mere coincidence but there is one Devraath bhisma from mahabharat who is known for his atoot PROMISE.and integrity and here we have another devrath Jo ek bhi promise par Tika nahi.😆😆

Watching from old episodes, I just realised the way Dev tells story to make Golu sleep is just the same as Sona was making him sleep after Neha's marriage.
Season 2: Sona is dev and Dev is Sona...both have taken up each others qualities.😆

@Sabita Di,I agree with you. Some people mock feminism nowadays by using the term 'Feminazi' whereas the difference between a feminist and a feminazi is that of chalk and cheese.Feminism stands for equality.Literally and figuratively.Feminism aims to achieve equal treatment for women in each and every sphere. The concept of feminism stemmed from the desire of women to have an equal position in the society which is not wrong at all.
Another misconception is that Feminism is the counterpart of Male Chauvinism.Male chauvinism seeks to dominate whereas Feminism seeks to empower. How are they similar then??

@Tinker and PK ji,Dev and Sona's first marriage was built on a weak foundation.Milavati cement(Ishwari) se bani building zyada time tak nahin tikti.
Post leap lets see if Dev and Sona manage to rebuild their relationship with Ambuja Cement or not.😉😆

@Gauri,what??? Your MIL was inspired by the TV bahus??
Yeh TV ka impact bohot haanikarak hai boss.😆
Some producers should begin the trend of progressive content and hopefully the rest will follow suit.I love the Sony TV shows due to the fact that they are different.
KRPKAB and it's twin sister Ek Duje Ke Vaaste attracted me due to this reason because they seemed to be so different and FLs were strong characters.

@Tia,I completely agree with you.We are striving to achieve equality in all forms and in all the spheres.Women are not incompetent. It's just that the society perceives them to be so.
And sometimes it's not only men who undermine women.Women themselves do that.A classic example is of Ishwari who despite being a woman herself always held the belief that women are inferior to men and should be subdued.

Yeah...imagine my saas would create ruckus over small issues just like the show. I was not able to understand why or what is happening😆 .
Now I understand and simply avoid/ignore any such thing. There is no way you can knock any sense to her.😆..So better to just keep smiling😃..and do as I please.😆

Agree Sony TV shows are better and different. Even I had seen a couple of episode of EDKV.

OMG... See, this is the impact on society I was talking about. Thankfully my mother-in-law is Canadian so she doesn't watch Hindi TV shows. But there are so many woman who watch these shows everyday. TV should show progressive content to facilitate discussion and change in mentality since their exposure is a lot more frequent than movies. That's why I loved Supriyaji's last show "Sasural Genda Phool". It was a remake of a Bengali show called "Ogo Bodhu Sundori"... I have seen both the Bengali and the Hindi version and it was delightful to watch that how a motherless spoiled girl starts to bond with her husband's Badi Maa and changed into a perfect daughter-in-law without changing her core personality. No one forced her to conform into their family's way except everyone gave her time to belong since she left her family for them. If you have not watched it already, do watch that show on YouTube.
