Today's episode starts with Sona being furious about the interview. Asha asks her to calm down. She says to Asha that even after so many years Dev still humiliates her and puts her down.
She throws away the newspaper and asks Asha to promise that she will give space to her son and daughter-in-law and won't interfere between them.
Asha assures her that she promises that just like her mother-in-law accepted her, she will do the same for her daughter-in-law. It's time for Saurabh to get married. He got alliance. Sonakshi becomes happy.
Asha asks Sona about herself. If she is ready for alliance. Sona makes faces. Asha tells her that she knows how many proposals she gets and not everyone's mother is interfering. Bijoy chirps from the back, as always support for his wife, saying "Good one"...
Sonakshi says that she only wants to concentrate on her work and Soha right now.
Me: I agree, Asha. Some mothers-in-law are like yours loving, caring, protective of their daughters-in-law. With that example, you can't be anything else.
Sonakshi, rest assured. Your sister-in-law will be one of those lucky woman who not only get an incredible family with a delightful man (may be not tall and handsome, but respectful and supportive which in the long run is more important) but also a supportive sister-in-law in you who won't hesitate to call on your own mother if she doesn't treat her like she deserves to be treated.
There are some people who after getting hurt makes sure no one suffers like them and there are some people who wants to inflict the same hurt on others. You are the former, Neha is the later.
Here, at Dixit house, Golu does the same assignment as Soha which he recites to Dev only he wrote the truth, nothing but the truth about Vicky and made a comparison with his BigCha who is amazing. He laughs and asks him to show it to his father. Golu said that if he shows it to his father, he will praise him because he never listens to what he is saying anyway.
Me: HAW!!! Dev babu, you are inciting a child against his father? Didn't you know, knowing the truth about one's parent is the biggest sin? If Soha writes bad things about you and Sona tells her to show you, do you know how deep the hole will be to bury Sona?
But you are totally forgiven. Because you are Dev. What is wrong for someone else, is right if you do it.
Poor Golu, sweetheart, I feel so sorry for you. You deserve better parents, child. I hope we find out that Elena had an affair with someone else.
Golu complaints about girls in school and most importantly of Suhana Bose. He says she should not be Suhana Bose, but Suhana Boss. Dev tells him to stay away from all girls specially ones with Bose surname.
Me: Humm... Main sirf soch rahee hoon ki agar yehi baat Sonakshi ne boli hoti Dixit surname ke baare mein, to usko kitni galiyan milti yahan. Aur jo bhi gaaliyan usse milti, abhi main woh saari Dev ke liye soch rahee hoon. Kyunki uski choti choti khamiyan nikal ke post to yahan pe banta nehin. To main bas standard balance kar rahee hoon.
Soha and Sona shares cute moments over her lunch of Palak Khichdi in school. Dev comes there with Golu. He is about to see them when Golu distracts me by asking for pocket money. Dev gives a six years old Rs. 200 (Me: Itni to meri pocket money high school mein bhi nehin tha). When he looks back, he only sees Sonakshi.
Me: Yup. CVs ka track record ab bhi kayam hain.
Sonakshi starts walking towards Dev with her heads down on her cell phone. Dev sees Sonakshi and gets all glowy but this is not love, this is Dove. Sona was about to pass him when he calls her name. She looks up and Dev asks what she is doing in school. If she has come there to lecture kids on how to be successful now that she is a business woman.
Sonakshi says that's none of his business. He says that now that she is business woman, will she bring business in everywhere. He asks the same question again.
She responds that why did he gave that interview and why does he think that everyone wants to be Dev Dixit? She doesn't even want to see his face.
Me: Oh my, I wrote exactly that yesterday in my comment.
Anyways, Dev asks, really? Then why did she follow him into school?
Me: Really? Bhaiya, dekho logic mein to aapki family ka tye tye fish hain. Lekin meri logic badi achhi hain. 90% marks mila tha board exam mein. To let me explain.
Sonakshi Elena se 7 saal tak mili nehin. To usse Golu mahashay ka sapna to nehin aayega aur usse yeh to pata nehin chalega ki aap Golu ke BigCha ho.
Sonakshi ko to bhaiya aapne memo nehin bheja ki aaj aap school aanewale hain.
Sonakshi ne to pehle aapko dekha bhi nehin tha, aapne he unka naam leke unko roka.
To inn sabuto ko madde nazar rakhte hue, logic yeh kehti hain, ki Sonakshi aapka picha nehin kar rahee thi.
Lekin aap ko unke life ki saari detail janni hain, to aapko to baatein karne ka excuse chahiye to defence mein kuch bhi bol rahe ho.
Dekho bhaiya, kuch log na kulhari apne pairon pe galti se maarte hain. Aap to jaan bujhke apne gardan aage kar rahe ho.
Aur waise bhi, Sonakshi aapko school mein kyun follow karegi. Kitna mehnat ka kaam hain. Woh to office mein hi agar baithi rahe, aap to khud hi dikh jaoge.
Dev taunts Sonakshi if she doesn't have any smart reply?
Sonakshi says that he is obsessed with her.
Dev gets even more defensive. He says that she must have not been able to forget him. That's why she tried to be like him so that she can feel his presence. Every girl who falls in love with him can't move on.
Sonakshi ignores his taunts and walks away.
Me: Dil ko behlane ke liye ghalib yeh bahana achcha hain...
Jab dikhega Jatin tujhe to jalan to tera pakka hain...
At school, Golu taunts Suhana on her lunch. They had a fight where Golu throws Suhana's assignment on the floor and Suhana throws Golu's assignment at the same place. I am not sure, but I think they get inter-changed.
Dev comes to office. Sonakshi is working there and he is sneaking glances at her. Jatin comes there and says, "Aami tomake bhalobashi" which means I love you.
Sonakshi smiles huge and runs to hug him. Here, Dev scramble over to get a better view.
Jatin is standing in sunlight and Dev babu is staring.
Me: Yup, Dev bhaiya. Sonakshi ka obsession dikh raha hain. Ladki kitna aapke upar pagal hain, nehin?
Sonakshi and Jatin joke like old friends. Jatin praises her style.
Sona shows Jatin around office.
Sona asks Jatin to stay with them. Jatin is scared of someone in Bose family - methinks Soha.
Dev adds up 2 plus 2 and gets le Surya of ex-Suryamukhi. This makes him very dukhi, sorry, not dukhi - jwalamukhi... đ
As in Visuvius is about to erupt.
Sona and Jatin decide to finish work before leaving. Sonakshi suddenly turns her head and notices Dev staring intently at her sitting in his couch and smirking. Sona ignores him and looks away back to work
Me: Yep. This girl is sooo obsessed with you, bhaiya. Khirkiya aur darwaze bandh karlo. Lekin oh haan, warna aap kaise tadoge. Technical difficulties, I understand.
Sonakshi thanks Jatin for investing in her business. She is grateful for his help. Jatin makes light of it.
Me: CVs, really? Why I don't see any past investors crop up for Dev? Why do you always have to make the girl needing financial help to be successful? This makes me mad. I wanted Sonakshi and Saurabh to achieve everything on their own. đĄ
Sonakshi has a meeting with someone. Dev's employee asks if they can party after hours because of his recovery. So Dev asks his employees to party with loud music in the middle of working day.
Me: Bhaiya, attention paane ke aur bhi tadeeke hain. Uske liye doosro ka life haram karne ki jaroorat nehin hain.
At home, Bijoy and Asha discuss about Sona and Jatin. They think they are perfect match. But Asha says that she doesn't want to force Sonakshi. If Jatin likes Sona and Sona likes Jatin, only then they will proceed. Bijoy says that Jatin is perfect for Sona. Dada says if Bijoy is saying it because Jatin is Bengali. Bijoy says yes. They all laugh.
Me: One thing for sure. Bijoy is not hypocrite. He knows what and who he is and he admits it every time. Asha, I am glad you decided not to force Sonakshi. I am not sure where this forcing Sonakshi for re-marriage track is cropping up from.
Here, Sonakshi can't do her meeting because of loud music. Her clients leave due to disturbance. She goes to Dev's office. Dev tells her that this party is because of her. Because she saved his life and his employees learned from her workplace culture and now they are celebrating his recovery. Sonakshi stops the music.
Dev says that it looks like she is angry. Sonakshi asks what is his problem.
Dev says that she is his problem. Why doesn't she get out of his life.
Sonakshi says that she left 7 years ago and what was he saying about her this morning, seems to be applied to his condition.
Me: Ai ai ya, bhanda phooting...
Dev gets defensive and says that she can think whatever she wants. At least he doesn't keep secrets like her. He says what he is in people's face.
Sonakshi gets shocked on which secrets he is talking about.
Dev tells her that he now knows who is the Surya Dev in her life.
Me: Arre, Dev babu. Aap ka desperation dikh raha hain.
Sonakshi says that he is mad. It was just a story. She asks him to stop harassing her.
Dev asks her to leave if she is feeling harassed.
She says, Tum... Dev says, Tum with both their fingers pointed at each other's nose... When temporary Surya, as in Jatin calls Sonakshi's name.
Dev gets jhatka...
Jatin holds her arm and calls her name again. Sonakshi is still glaring at Dev in who blinks first game.
Dev gets another jhatka, "Eee... usne mere ex-Suryamukhi ko touch kiya"...
Sonakshi says curtly that she wants to talk to Dev.
Jatin comes in between them (Dev gets more jhatkas) and holds both Sonakshi's hands and tells her to look at him and calm down. Then he takes Sonakshi from there.
Dev is still shell shocked (Surya Dev, gardener aur Suryamukhi ke beech mein aa gaya...).
Me: Lagta hain bhaiya ko sadma laga hain. Okay, so here's the thing. I kind of still feel sorry for you because yesterday you got gold star. To main fokat ka advice deti hoon. Vinegar se naa, madhu makhhi nehin milti. Uske liye honey daalna padta hain. To agar aap din bhar vinegar phailaoge, aapki objective aap se aur dur chali jayegi. To is liye, aap hain naa jab cauliflower kharidne jaoge, tab thodi honey bhi kharid lena. Soch badlo, desh badlegi...
Precap: Golu tells Dev that his assignment got exchanged with a girl and everyone thought he did it because it was better assignment. Dev sees the assignment and wants to meet the girl who made it.
Here, Jatin asks Sonakshi that how long can she hide from Dev that Soha is his daughter? Sonakshi asks him what if Dev takes away Soha from her.
Me: Ah... Sonakshi. There's the vulnerable broken woman dbrk wrote about. Your biggest fear was always losing the people you love. I am sure that you will get over your fear again because you always want your daughter's happiness. Remember, you are no longer weak, homeless person who had nothing left. Now you are strong. So ask the right questions to Soha and you will get the right answers.
Jatin, you just came and did a world of good. You are the calming presence Sonakshi will need to lean on. So be the best friend that I think you are who is always there as a strong support. We all have one friend like that.
