I agree. Sonakshi should move on only if this new guy treats her right. Otherwise no.

hmm, I dont want Sonakshi to move on with anyone who does not respect her as an equal. If this guy does, then fne, else she is good on her own.

Which is also why the quality of story telling and the characters of the main leads have been degraded so much. I used to be able to relate with both leads. Now I can't relate with Dev anymore. I don't see anything in that character except a very weak, pathetic man who makes mistakes and blames others. Not to mention have different policy and treatment for women in his family vs. women in general. Sorry I can't respect a guy like that. There's a difference in understanding a person's nature as to why he is doing what he is doing and showing understanding for the same nature as in justifying it or forgiving it. I feel the former, not the later.

Tia this show has no TRPs to begin with. TRP aunties don care about actors/characters. They only need drama. Which is why Ekta/Rashmi Sharma get away with multiple marriages and divorces and replacements. TRP aunties will watch even if Dev marries Elena/ Sonakshi marries Vicky so long as they get their share of drama. This show is running purely on its popularity on social media. And because the leads have a considerable fanbase abroad (like Shaheer in Indonesia). And the fans on social media are invested in the actors and the pairing. That is the main difference between them are TRP audience. Which is why the writers cant get away with showing any other pairing unless one of the leads quit..Which is also why the writers are so confident that they can show anything and the fans will keep coming back 😆 This is probably the biggest irony of this show. The writers keep dishing out mindless drama though they have no TRPs to begin with and in the process, end up disappointing their actual fanbase 😆

Kaun si moronic insaan empty road pe taxi ko chod deta hain to be without a transportation? Dekha sangat ka asar? Dev ki bewakuf dimaag ne kar diya na Sona ko bhi infect? 😆

If Dev was a real character, given his weak emotional state, he probably would have had an emotional breakdown by now and attempted suicide 😆 Parth was a well written character in Sadda Haq. Only difference was that he was always part of the show and they were all essentially college going kids so it made sense in that context in Season 1. Here these ppl are 35 year olds with a baby. That is what makes the whole thing hilarious and ridiculous all at the same time 😆 The redundancy of it all is that Dev-Sona will anyway reunite at the end so all this is just for some cheap drama. They really don care about character growth, maturity etc 😆

P.S. The writers know what they are doing in a way cos most fans on social media are excited for this twist..And they actually want Dev ki Deewangi Part 2 🤢😆 Oh and most ppl are more concerned about the off screen drama too..He has a girlfriend though so am not sure what drama they expect out of this 🤣

@bold - I agree 100% with this...
He's even unable to handle his relationship demands with a girl like Sonakshi who has shown strength and understanding all the while, without getting weak in her own demands and emotions and not giving a regular status reports on the dramatic turns in Ishwari Nivas... 😆
Imagine someone like Neha being his wife... 😆🤣 Or else someone like Radharani who goes on and on and on but can be either said Shut up or Get out, still will continue to talk and stay back... 😆🤣 Sona is a high time misfit for The Dixits' high demand profile expectations... 😆 On top of it how can she even have her own emotional state of weakness... 😆

Thanks for addressing my question. I love what you wrote in Bold because it makes perfect sense rather than glorifying his act because we do it all the time when we are pushed to a corner we want it to be the other persons fault than our own

Thanks again

I have a theory.

Maybe he knows what he has done is wrong. He knows that Sonakshi is not at fault. And this knowledge keeps on haunting him.He knows it but he refuses to acknowledge and accept it.Because acknowledging his mistakes would mean that he has accepted himself to be the cause of the failure of his relationship.

It's easy to blame others. That's why some people blame destiny and God for all the mishaps in their life. They are afraid to face their mistakes.

In Dev's case, his denial to his mistakes has turned into anger. And that anger is directed towards Sona.He is unable to accept the blame so he took the easier route and decided to blame her instead.

According to him,Sona betrayed him by leaving him. It's his twisted way of convincing himself that he has done nothing wrong. He knows he will be crushed under the burden of his own mistakes. That's why he directs his anger towards Sona and blames her instead.Maybe it's also due to the fact that she has moved on and is happy and content in her life while he is stuck in the same loop.

P.S. Isn't Shaheer doing some film in March? What if this is a stop-gap arrangement to show drama when he is not available for shoot? 😆 Waise bhi am convinced these ppl randomly introduce tracks and drop them to suit their convenience depending on their mood and availability of the actors 😆

@bold - yes... And for that randomness we come up with pages and pages of analysis reports?! 😆🤣

Thanks for replying. In Bold so this is Love? Go figure right..a complicated Psyche indeed

He simply wanted her to be there for him...inspite of all odds...for the sanctity of marital vows
He wanted her to believe him...always...does not matter what his past record was...blind belief like he believes his family...you're supposed to blindly believe your family and he was her husband.

Thats why he is angry. He is not able to accept that he had any mistake in their separation...

The "Get Out" said by him was said in anger and was not meant to be taken seriously...only the time and circumstances were not in favour.

Dev expected Sona to stick to the marriage vows and never quit on him...She did. He is angry.
Why she did it is not any of his concern.
