What I don't understand about Mamaji is Jaha unki interference ki zaroorat hain... like with what his wife and son are cooking up, he doesn't interfere. And his nephew is screaming - I am an adult now, I don't want to talk about this / please don't interfere...waha unki bolti band hoti hi nahi. He used to be Ishwari's voice of reason in season 1. Inn saat saalon mein he has turned into Ishwari's voice.

Teri bahu iss ghar ko jod ke rakkhegi Ishwari - he had once given a lecture to his sister. The one person in that mad house who, after hearing about the pregnancy / infertility, his first words had been - I need to talk to Sonakshi. She must be shattered by all this.

And today the same person is asking Dev why he risked his life to save Sonakshi!! Waah re mamaji!! Dhanya hai aap toh!!!

I will explain. Mamaji apna decision iss hisaab se lete hain ki kiska palra kab bhari hain money man ki nazar mein. Money man matlab hamare priya Dev bhaiya.

Example: In season 1, Dev loved two women - Ishwari and Sonakshi. To Mamaji double dholki, mauke pe chauka maarte the. Kabhi Sonakshi ki taraf to kabhi Ishwari ki taraf - aur dono side maintain karte the.

Ab in season 2, Dev claims to hate Sonakshi, but he still cares for Ishwari. To Sonakshi ki side bajake kya fayda. To ab Mamaji sirf Ishwari ki side bajate hain.

Dekhna agar Dev ne phir se yeh maan liya ki woh Sonakshi se pyaar karta hain, to Mamaji phir se Sonakshi ki side bajayenge. Mark my words.

Its probably just me but its really tough to connect to any of the characters on the show at present. Its weird cos I keep comparing everyone with the way they started in the initial few episodes and its terrible to see how much they have been butchered. Dev version 1 (not the one after marriage), Sonakshi during her pre-love phase (not the one post confession), Bijoy, Asha and Ishwari in their initial versions were the best ones created by the writers. Its beyond me why they butchered them so bad and now they are almost unrecognizable. And the bgm is shit. Like please stop playing it everywhere cos it makes everything unbearable 😆

P.S. I mentioned this the other day. The writers are hell bent on converting this into Sadda Haq. They even got the third angle from that show as Sona's friend 😆 Ankit is a good actor. He was really good as Parth (a better character than the male lead Randhir in every way) but Param-Harshita had great chemistry so you could tell why ppl couldn't let go of Randhir-Sanyuktha despite all the nonsense the writers showed 😆 I really hope the writers know what they are doing. Oh wait they don't. They are as clueless as the characters on this show 😆

On a related note, I really hope the writers don repeat Dev ki Deewangi again. We had enough of it the first time around and that stalker-psycho phase was nightmarish, to say the least. Even if he feels jealous initially, I really hope he learns to let go. Please let him grow up a little CVs. Its not entertaining to watch your leads act like immature kids. The other guy is probably just a friend but whatever it is, I hope he backs off and lets them be. Cry in your room but no public tamasha and I really hope we get a scene where he resigns himself to fate and decides not to interfere and let everyone be. But wait. This is Durjoy Dutta. All these concepts are alien to him 😆

I agree. For a change CVs should show Dev and Sona try to be parents without being a couple. I don't want the same old, let's get together for daughter track nor I want Soha to go against Sona's wish and manipulate her mother like other serials.

Tia, for that you need maturity which all these characters lack 😆 Even now, they can show Dev-Sona having a conversation, acknowledging where they went wrong, letting go and deciding to be good parents to Soha. Its a different story if they gradually learn to fall in love again/become good friends or whatever. But I believe thats mature and beyond the writer's capability and creativity 😆 They'd rather bring in drama and immaturity and what not

Honestly the way Dev was written initially- he'l probably go and apologize to Sonakshi and tell her he really wants to give their marriage a second chance. If she refuses, he'l probably be depressed but learn to let go. I still don know why they made him stalkerish and unstable. Now they have even introduced a kid. Atleast for the kid's sake, they need to make her parents act mature. Indian TV makes the biggest mockery of jealousy tracks anyway and given the history of the show, am really not looking forward to this. The fact that they still need a third angle to make the leads understand their feelings (they freaking have a baby) is hilarious 😆
