The episode starts with Ishwari worried for Dev because of Earthquake. She should be more worried for herself since she is on her high horse all the time and they say you should hit low ground during earthquake. 😆
Anyway, Dev doesn't pick up his phone when Ishwari calls.
Me: Ishwari aunty, aapne sabko itna irritate aur annoy karke rakhha hain ki koi bhi aapse baat nehin karna chahta. Honestly yeh Radha aur Vicky bhi mujhe itna irritate nehin karti jitna Ishwari apni Meena Kumari expression aur Lalita Pawar dialogue se karti hain.
On the other hand, Bose family decided to turn the earthquake into socialising opportunity with the neighbour like we used to do back home when mass load shedding happened. We all came out and had an impromptu neighbourhood party which thrilled us kids because that meant that we could play after dark.
Anyways, Sonakshi reaches home and her family come running. Bijoy was worried for her daughter. Sonakshi jokes to Soha that her dad was so worried that he threw a party. They laugh.
Here, Vicky and Radha plan to keep Dev away from office so that their scam doesn't get exposed.
At Dixit mansion, Ishwari and Mama scold Dev for risking his life to save Sonakshi (Haila, inko kaise pata chala? Kya jasoos dimaag hain yaar mental maata aur behena ki pooch ki? Inko CID show mein bhej do.)
Anyways, Mamaji and Ishwari blast Dev for hiding it. Dev continues his swagger that he would have done it for anyone. He is not having an affair with her. If there was anyone else, he would have done the same.
Me: Ookkayy... Wait a minute. Aapke jhol mein itne holes hain jitna swiss cheese mein nehin.
Superman bhaiya, humne dekha nehin kab aapne watchman ko godi mein uthake rescue kiya? Aur aap kya har ek rescue ke aankhon mein romantic glances maarte hain? Aaj tak aap pe kisine harassment ka case kaise nehin thoka?
Apparently, Ishu and Mamaji could also see through the holes. So Ishwari comments that in the last 7 years, Dev only had one steady relationship in 7 years even if it's of hatred and that is with Sonakshi.
Dev is silent.
Me: Ammaji, agar aap denial ka wait kar rahee thi, then sorry, aapki delusion increase karne ke liye bhi Dev yeh deny nehin kar sakta.
On the other hand, Sonakshi spends time with Soha. Later Sona tells Asha that Dev saved her life. Asha asks her what she saw in Dev's eyes. Sonakshi said that she saw anger which she has seen since she returned and it shows up in different forms.
Me: Oookkay, Sonakshi. Ab samajh mein aaya aapko chashma kyun lag gaya. Meri tarha Laser eye surgery karwalo. Dev ka gussa tab dikhta hain jab aap darling, uske taraf nehin dekhti. Jab aap uske taraf dekhti ho, to uska gussa ta ta bye bye ho jaata hain.
Asha warns her not to be dragged into the past that she got over with so much difficulty. Sonakshi assures her that she won't get dragged in the past again. But seeing Asha's face, it didn't look like she believes Sonakshi's claim.
Golu comes to him and rightly guesses that he was upset about BigChi (Haila, yeh bhi CID ki chati aulad. Ek Dev hi clueless hain kya iss ghar mein?) Dev says that someone had promised him lifetime of support, but didn't keep her promise and that's why he was angry.
Me: Haila, delusion maata ki deluded aulad. Aap hi ne to dhakka deke usse nikala tha? Apni selective memory ko kabhi to shake karlo, taaki thodi relevant memory release ho jaaye.
On the other hand Vicky asks his unsavoury friends for help and he suggests to beat up Dev. Elena overhears but he distracts her with flirting.
Me: Haan Elena waise bhi stupid hain. Itna difficult nehin hain usse bewakuf banana.
Next day, Soha wants to put on lipstick and perfume. First Sonakshi says no, but then she puts some perfume on her.
Me: Awww... I used to ask my mother to put her make up and perfume on me. She had a Lancome one I really loved. It was such a common mother-daughter scene. Every daughter wants to look and smell like her mother.
Dev is driving to office, sees strangers on the road, stops to help (see pre-cap of yesterday). His phone accidentally dials Sonakshi's no. (Jitni jaldi dial hua, usse to lagta hain speed dial mein Sonakshi ka no. tha.)
Me: Dev ka phone bhi usse jyada intelligent hain. Musibat mein superwoman ko phone lagaya, poison ivy (Ishwari) ko nehin. Waise bhi maata ji musibat ke time useless hain.
Sonakshi realises Dev is in danger. She tracks Dev's cellphone on her laptop and gets there.
Me: Bhai wah. CID ne apna criminal tracking software Sonakshi ko udhar mein diya hain kya? Kaun sa normal citizen aise phone no. se cell phone track kar sakta hain? Lagta hain CVs bhool gaya yeh Sony ka kaunsa wala show hain. Maine kahan tha naa ki CID or iss show ke writers same hi hire kiya hoga paise bachane ke liye?
Sonakshi finds Dev. He is badly injured. He calls out to Sonakshi.
Me: O palanhare, nirgun aur nyare.
Tumre bin hamra kauno nahin.
Precap: Sonakshi is taking Dev to hospital but confused with driving. Dev says that she still hasn't learned driving. She says that she thought he will be with her whole life. So she never felt the need to learn driving.
Me: As sentimental and nostalgic as it is, CVs. But let me ask a question, Sonakshi ka driver kahan mar gaya? Lagta hain jawab kal milega.
