I was truly depressed by the one-sided bashing Dev was receiving without actually taking into consideration the realities of his growing up years and how this had moulded him as a person.

I really liked some of the insights this thread has generated. Please continue on with great work 😃😃

Wow, welcome to the forum! 😆

I am so glad to see that this thread has brought out all the people who feel similarly about how we should view the characters and the story. That was the point, after all! I hope you continue to participate in the forum and contribute to the thread!

Well interesting discussion going on over here!! I will give my 2 cents

I found Dev flirting and his badass attitude of trying too hard, I don't know if it was Shaheer or Dev's character itself 😆 I do think he is angry on Sona for not trusting him but he still loves her that's why she is everywhere the walls are orange he is drinking orange juice etc.And I am sure he is going to flaunt this image in front of her.But I want this Casonova image to just be a facade I don't want him sleeping around with women and still claiming he loves Sonakshi 😕 , because Sona has not cheated Dev he lied to her so many times and his inability to take a stand had driven Sona apart. They don't need to fall back in love again if they are happy with their lives but need to rediscover and accept that they never stopped loving 😊 And please let Soha be only a reason for them to meet , they need to get back to each other for their own selves 😊

Ps: I really don't want infidelity though they are not married anymore technically but I atleast want Dev to keep his one promise of loving only one woman all his life to be true 😭

2 cents 2 cents keh ke logon ne yaahan lakhon cents daal diyr hai. I am loving to read all the wonderdful analysis and thoughts. Please carry on the same way and enlighten us. I also think Sona and Dev might turn friends as I still feel they havent stopped loving each other. Its just hidden under multiple layers. I would really like them to take this slowly. It should start with coparenting, being Sohas best friends and not getting into love or remarriage. I want both side of parents to realise how they played part in destroydestroying the beautiful love of their own kids and their marriage and putting their grand child through the agony of not having parents together.

@Shaavi, you always strongly believed that prenup will change the equation between Dev and ishwari. Finally prenup served its purpose. I am also thinking that now many of their past sequences will be recreated now with a role reversal. Mainly those Tom and Jerry fights between Mr. Obhodro and Dr.bose.😊

Amen!

Great comments everyone. Keep them coming.

I feel we are in for a matured love story. I loved the way Dev handled the school situation. He didn't throw money at the problem. He didn't just go and hire the best teacher for Golu. Instead he used his assets and made the teacher do her job. She was trying to blame Golu for his bad performance. Everyone in the family shyed from facing that. Recall what that man friday(who has a very tasteless name - pun intended) told ex GKB. Teachers put the blame on parents. Dev didn't let that happen.

Dev said he caused the problem (less marks in maths) then he will fix it. And fix he did. The teacher agreed to pay extra attention to Golu. It's her job to pay extra attention to weaker kids in her class. And recall who taught Mr Dixit jiska kaam usi ko sajhe? Dr Bose did. First day at work. Bravo makers. You are very nicely mingling all of this. "Rewarding" the old viewers with such treats yet keeping it neutral enough for new viewers. That Harley Davidson and it's rider were a treat to the eyes of school parents and viewers alike.

It's lovely to see how Dev and Sona are balancing their work and parenting/guardianship roles.

Then the office scene was again well done. It seems the only bit of the business that makes profit is Dev's trading company. And he wants to sell it. Only when we can think like our markers will we be able to guess why. Dev has given a company 100 times the size of what he invested in saurabh's business to vicky. And vicky isn't making profits. Humm. Dev puts vicky right back in his place and reminds him he is after all an employee who can get the boot with 2 months' pay. So all that style in a double breasted suit at home was plain vain. Dev continues to run a tight ship.

Now Dev wasn't at all surprised by sona's award news. Which means he has been following his ex wife's success story. And not stalking her. Dev you make me proud. You would have made your then wife proud with your current demeanour too. If I read his expressions correctly, he still takes pride in sonakshi. We shall see. Nikki would have been so proud of gher bhaiya's current avatar. Nikki, where are you? I miss you

Ishwari looked sad but calm and composed. She looked well which means she has been taking her medication correctly and meals on time. No Dev or mamaji or Neha in tow and she has learnt to take good care of her self. Her expression as Golu ran in was priceless. Golu is her only way to get news on dev now. I was saddened to see that she didn't do what Dev has continued to do. She has given up the control of the household to the tripathis.

Bijoy's fears are not unfounded. He knows his daughter is putting up a brave face but he has seen her do that before and fail. However something tells me we won't see messy waterworks this time.

While the last 2 episodes have been fast paced the makers are again doing a great job of keeping us on the edge. I saw Dev had his award function photos in the office. Still curious to see what has happened with his room? And of course the much awaited dev Ishwari 1st encounter.

This show is definitely going by way of the book 'PARADISE by JUDITH MCNAUGHT' . or taken inspiration frm it. In the book Matt nd Meredith seperate cos of possessive father in law who consider Matt as a social climber or gold digger. Though the loss of the child is the catalyst but the misunderstanding created by the ruthless FIL causes the real separation. Thy meet aft 11 years whn Matt has become a bizwiz nd all hell breaks loose. Aft initial ugly fights bet their corporates Meredith nd Matt make peace once the truth abt the baby is revealed. Thy realise thy hve never fallen out of love for each other nd reunite whn meredith chooses matt over her father nd her legacy.

Its a wonderful book in the second opportunities category. Its a must read for all the romantics here.

I mentioned the same in @shaavi's post sometime back as she is a huge Will Darcy fan like many of us here. But Darcy fades in front of Matt farrell for me😉

@Sam losing a job is no small thing and two months salary is nothing, absolutely nothing. The entire future of those employees and their families was shaken and made uncertain in a few seconds. Further the style of informing was cruel. There can be no doubt about it. Dev would absorb the business losses but what about the personal losses of the employees and their children? It's not easy to find a new job after being retrenchment. Imagine children thrown out from school or sleeping hungry. Then it will not seem a small issue.
Yes every business man takes such decisions as they have to first save themselves but at least they feel bad and guilty about it. Dev announced it as if it was a joke.

Also Dev was never like that earlier. He was bad to his enemies or when he wanted something but a considerate boss and human being otherwise. I remember a scene in which he tells his mother that he somehow prevented so many employees from being fired. I don't remember the exact details but it was there.

That is why I felt that his mother's treachery and Sona's walking out has killed something inside him. He has stopped caring in general golu being an exception.

Sona too was broken but she had an exceptional support system and lots of love. Dev was left to wallow in his grief.

Hope his daughter revives his heart and his faith in humanity.

Recall the JigJaw puzzle? That's what we are seeing right now. We don't have all the pieces yet and till we get those; we won't be able to see the full picture.

Saurabh mamu is in their lives... yippee

And Dev plays cricket, does what his heart says and still knows his responsibilities ... yay!

Khargosh - woohoo!

Annnd... Daddy has seen Soha...

Dr Bose is back and she is back with a bang... You wait and watch

More later tonight
