Great post but I somewhere didn't understand Dev's outbursts 😕 .First I thought it was intentional, than when I watched the scene it was plain hurt, anger,ego and finally giving up on the love.If you see both their faces after their fire fiasco Sona was hurt and angry but Dev's face screamed pain,broken trust and how could he say such spiteful words to her 😡 🤢 and he couldn't believe himself that how could he hurt her so much , he was angry on himself.

Dev is a spineless and weak we all know that but that day he was something else, where we very well know the truth because it was the opposite of what he did previously:
1. He has always been proud about her professional life she is the best.
2. He very well known that she never married for money, he refused to sign the prenup.
3.He has always given her credit for understanding his family and making efforts to solve their problems
4. He always admits that his wife is always right and stronger than him.
5. If he really wanted kids why did he get married to her, and said repeatedly that it doesn't matter to him

6. He has never touched her without her permission and he raised her hand on her.
The things he said contradicted his personality and he said those words just to hurt her or something else, I don't know and why would Sona come back to him and I don't want daughter to be the reason. I hope they really do something of Dev's character and we remembered him as the most evolved character and not just because of Shaheer's acting.
So overall, I am confused about it.I won't comment much on the casonova image , I hope they don't show him sleeping around with women,that will somehow destroy their love for me and also Dev's character which is already in shambles 😕, I would be happy to know that is just coping mechanism and a facade.

Ps: Cv's spoiled the most sorted and understanding couple in the most ruthless way.The last two episodes screamed how forced was this separation for the leap.For once why can't one tele couple fight against the world for their love, trust each other, not let ego rule over their hearts.Devakshi were a unique couple who could do this , but alas viewers love separation and love hate stories according to the makers 😕 Thank you Cv's for proving Indian Tv content can never change in centuries to come 👏 😊 😊

I always look forward to your posts as they are positive. I saw Friday's episode yesterday and the last confrontation stayed with me for a long long time. I also saw the new promo on the internet.

I tend to agree with what you have written. Dev and Sona were no doubt madly in love but couldn't stay together because they allowed other people (including his mother and her father) to run their marital life. This coupled with Dev's inability to stand up for what was right against his mother- the lies about the pregnancy, the lies about lending money to Saurav all worked against the relationship. Actually I think Dev and Sona never got over their first breakup before getting married. Because they never spoke and tried to analyse the reasons for the same they made the same mistakes the next time. The next time, do note, that the stakes were much higher because they were now married, there were families were involved and on top of that you had persons like GKB and Ishwari who were just waiting for Sona to make a mistake.

Because they were still scared of losing each other and hence all questions, doubts and insecurities were pushed under the carpet. They never spoke up about it till was very late and the scavengers like GKB and Vicky had already taken advantage of Dev Sona and Ishwari. I wonder as to when would IShwari realise that she has been played by GKB and what a mistake she made by trusting GKB and Vicky over Sona. Because from the new promo its obvious that it is too late to make any amends.

Lets see how the next chapter pans out. I think Dev and Sona are still in love with each other. His way of coping with the split is to have multiple girlfriends in the hope that he is able to get over the sadness of losing Sona forever. Sona's way of coping with her grief is to make so much money that she doesn't ever have to ever depend on anyone else. He daughter is an unexpected gift to her. I do not want to get into the rights and wrongs of not disclosing the existence of a daughter to Dev but the fact is that she was thrown out of the Dixit household in an unceremonious manner and for all she knew, even if she were to return and say that she was pregnant with Dev's baby the others (Read: IShwari, GKB and Neha especially) would think that Sona is still interested in the money.

I get the feeling that after the leap, Saurav, Mamaji and Nikki would bring the two warring parties together. As per my understanding, Dev and Sona have seen each other in the promo and both are pretending to be unaffected ... but fail miserably. Like someone on the forum pointed out, when the girl was all over Dev, he was more interested in knowing as to what was Sona's reaction?

Lets see how the story unfolds. This leap/ break was required because the story was honestly not progressing.

Amidst all said and done you can't help but feel sad for them. Post leap promo gives a bird eye view of the damage. Both pinning yet both proud and ego laden to accept . They had what few can claim to possess, but could not cherish their relationship.
