That is what happened here. They laden with love with desire to stay together without anticipating family dynamics interference and their respective capability to budge under such pressure entered into hasty marriage. They themselves made mockery of their love and marriage benefitting third party. Their failure their ways to cope . Sona built herself Dev disintegrated. Despite all said and done they still have love,yearning and prove a point to each other. But they did start with love last time.

There failed marriage must have proved a point to them that love is not enough. So I hope this time they like two mature adults start by addressing issues crumbled their marriage. Each work towards building mutual trust,respect each other than progress towards reconciliation.

Love was always there but it was not enough for them to sustain .

Hmm, I saw that tweet too.. Mamta mam teeeting with TeamDev hashtag, it got me confused as well..but if you keep that single tweet aside, there is no other reason to support that Dev did it to push Sonakshi away from him intentionally.

Because-

1) then it would mean he has been enacting a bad boy role for last 7 years...which is highly unlikely.

2) that would mean he still cared for her and knew abt her whereabouts after 7 years...but that would also mean he knows about his daughter. Dev cann stay away from suhana for so long..after knowing she is his daughter.

3.) He would have disappeared completely from her sight if he really wanted to push her away. Or would have acted a casanova right after the quash, not 7 years after it.

This is why I think Dev said all that to free himself. To convince himself that his relationship was superficial. That true love doesn't exist and to give himself a severe heartbreak to come out of his attachment to sona.

Oh I agree with all words of yours! I think all these 7 years, the most beautiful and unrepeatable moments of his daughter's and Sonakshi's life being snatched from him, in itself is Dev's biggest punishment.

I feel so bad for him for no matter how much he tries later, he will never be able to relive those moments.

And yes, In a way god has gifted Sonakshi with suhana, to help her sail through the problems. Having a child to take care of, to nurture her and to be emotionally involved with her, certainly helps in tough times.

Here, Dev doesn't have anyone. Not even his mother...he thus finds solace in temporary flings.

@BOLD...you rightly said...it was gods way of gifting her a life to feel encouraged in life...so that she can prove to herself that she is a good mother to such an extant that she brought her kid up with out any financial support from the man who promised love and support for life...later said a lot of foul words so that she leaves or he did be free of all the problems!! Either way seeing his child being brought up so beautifully will be like a slap on his face...and look at what he has done to his life...( Even if it is later shown that he did it for her sake ...I am not going to buy it...because as a woman I know how difficult it is to bring up a child even with support around...so imagine with out support )

And regarding PS... Only women will understand the true depth of that PS I guess...🤣...just kidding !!

Sona's father was slapped. Any Sane n self respecting girl would never tolerate that.. Only doormats will do that n sorry she has tried to understand dev from ages now. Theka nai Liya hai sona ne. Mommy's boy ki majbooriyon ka.. He insulted her family n her father. So sona did Ryt thing. Period!!
