Thank you. I still remember the story even though I heard it in my childhood.

My mom ended the story and followed it with the advice that which bag we carry in the front depends on us.

If we choose to just carry the blame bag for other's in the front, we won't be able to solve any issue because they will be carrying the same bag in the front.

If we switch bags and carry our own blame in the front, we will never be happy. Because we will forever be blaming ourselves whether it's our fault or not.

But if we carry both bags in front and weigh in both our blame and others', then we will be able to see everything clearly. And only a clear mind can solve a problem and make right choices.

Unfortunately, Sona is carrying her own blame bag in her front.

WOW Tia, this is one of the best posts of yours!!⭐️

The story is just amazing! I would like to share it with my kids 😊...Its actually for everyone...

The parallels you drew between all the 4 is so apt...

Dev needs to know that what he is doing for his family is what Ranveer is doing for his family...only difference is RV's mom didnt seem to be like Ish...As far as she was shown, she was very clear and open to give the required space for the newly weds(there were some glitches initially like the SR night where kids barged in)

Sona, how I wish her to be before marriage self and point it out...where is the girl who was so offended when Dev got her new cellphone? I just hope that what was shown in precap doesnt effect her decision to join work...why are you so laid back in regards to joining back?

Thanks for the beautiful post!

Brilliant story👏

It is Neha's marriage that is on the line and nobody is talking to her. That is the strangest thing but not something new for the Dixits who seem to be looking at the situation only from their own understanding of the situation which is limited because they haven't even openly talked about it with Neha or Ranveer.

Dev was ready to brush the matter under the carpet(as always) and "fix" the issue by giving a house.(Money is the solution to all problems apparently) And what a way to convince!Insult Ranveer's house that has been built by his hard work.Putting the entire blame on Ranveer when Neha was at fault as well(in fact, more her than Ranveer).

When Dev was reminding Ranveer about his responsibilities towards his wife,I was hoping Ranveer would ask him how he would react had Sona demanded to live separately.Would Dev be willing to keep Sona's wishes above his family? I don't think so.

Since Ranveer did not bow down and accept Dev's quick fix solution,Dev declares him to be not worthy of Neha.🤔Suddenly the marriage becomes a mistake which he intends to correct.Does he remember it's the life of two adults he is talking about?

I am seriously waiting for the day someone points out the parallel situations here.Because the Dixits are not going to see it themselves.

Both Dev & Neha want everything to go exactly how they want and want their partners to agree to their thoughts and opinions.

And Sona😕Why is she hesitating or feeling guilty about wanting to join her job?Is this the same girl who was proud of her career and considered it important?

Dev wants to "Fix" Neha's situation with Ranveer the same way Ishwari wanted to "Fix" Dev's situation with Sona.

They are so busy in their delusion of playing God, that no one ever asked the people whose life decisions they are affecting what do they want.

Ishwari blocked Dev from talking to Neha the same way, Dev blocked Sona from talking to Neha.

This show has so many parallels that I can compare them for days. But funnily, Dixit family never notices them.

Sona's this meek bahu type behaviour is as irritating for me as it's for you. Dev has been working since the second day of marriage. If he is not concerned about his family and take days off, why are you hanging here? No matter what you do Sona, you will never be their family. You will always remain an outsider.

What a beautiful story. Thank you 😊

So Dev thought everybody is like Sona who has left her self-respect after accepting Dev's no Ishwari's proposal of marriage with Dev. Oh wait that's what is true love. 😡 Unfortunately for Dev, not everyone is Sona, who will bend to any level to be with her love, mostly because she is a girl who doesn't have to worry about her family responsibilities like Ranveer. Well don't people also love their pet animals because they always listen to you but never argues with you. I guess Dixits want such a scenario around. Sona has certainly turned into one. Sad to know that Sona is guilty of joining her work again. What has happened to Dr. Sonakshi Bose, she doesn't exist anywhere now.

My wish Ranveer to ask the same question to Dev, what If Sona demands the same like Neha do. Since I don't expect Sona to ask this question now. I really don't see how Neha and Ranveer's issue would be solved for all Neha cares is her luxurious life be it from Ranveer or from Dev. She doesn't care about anyone else. Only one person could have pointed and asked all the right questions now to Ishwari and Dev - Bijoy Bose.

Nice post Tia👏👏
Today I got really pissed off with Dev's insensitive remarks about Ranbir's home.-- Kaal Kothri
dint expect if from Dev,
Ranvir nailed it today..

Both Ranveer and Sona are people of Honor, self respect and dignity.
Dixits should be proud of themselves for having got such In-laws ONLY IF they can think beyond money, power, comfort and insecurities.

Thanks. I was looking around the forum today for posts berating Dev for treating his sister's husband so rudely just like there were posts on Bijoy asking some very valid questions, but could not find any. It seems that Dev does everything right since he is the hero.

The well of understanding pours over him no matter what he does. And this guy went to give advice to Ranveer on how to treat his wife.

Today Ranveer didn't count Neha as his family when he said that he is fighting for his family's honour just like Dev didn't count Sona as his family when he asked her to stay out of his family's business.

Would he have asked Mamaji or Radha took stay out of it? Or even Ishwari to stay out of Neha's business regardless of how much damage she did?

No, he wouldn't.

Sona could not have done as much damage as Dev did with his arrogance today.

Yet he thinks he is in a position to give advice to others how to maintain a marriage when his own marriage is still standing because Sona gave up on her self-respect for love.

Now Sona is a great girl. But she left her spine in Bose house. She used to walk with her head held high, secure in the knowledge that no matter what decision she take, no matter how many mistakes she makes, she will be loved regardless.

In Dixit house, Sona takes permission before breathing. She needs approval before every step she takes.

In Bose house, she confidently charged her parents for not sharing their trouble with her and boldly took the step through Elena to fix it. Elena was worried about taking the cheque. But Sona was confident that she can make her family understand.

In Dixit house, everyone including her husband expects her to stay out from the inner family circle because if she doesn't, then there are always people ready to blame her for someone else's wrong decision.

I wonder which one you'd call a family?

Sona claims after marriage, Dev's family is hers. But that's all in her head. Not even Dev thinks that as he proved today. Because if he had thought Sona as his family who wants to see Neha happy as much as he does, he'd ask her to help him to make Neha happy whether it's with or without Ranveer.

Sorry Sona, come out of the delusion that you will ever have Bijoy-Asha-Dida relationship in Dixit house.

You didn't choose a man like Bijoy and Dev doesn't have a mother like Dida. So no matter how hard you try to be Asha, you will just face failure and defeat.

If you think about it, Dixits are very lucky. They mostly got the best deal of luck.

Both Dixit siblings got great in-laws. Both Ranveer's family and Bose family are incredibly nice and understanding.

But both Ranveer and Sona got the raw end of the deal when they got their in-laws.

Neha wanted a man like Dev, she got Ranveer who is like Dev in every way except in status. But she does not want to stay with him. Now she wants luxury.

Dev wanted a woman who is smart and independent, he got Sona who is all that but he only appreciates her when she falls meekly into his plan and is not interfering in his family business. Now he wants Sona to do as he says and keep her mouth shut.

Funny how they can't appreciate the qualities in their life partner that made them fall in love with them in the first place.

It's almost as if someone falls in love with an outfit in a shop and buys it. Then alters it to the point that it's beyond recognition as the previous outfit they fell in love with. The only difference is that the outfits have no emotion, no feelings.

Your posts are like poetry Tia. Have you ever tried writing ? Just a suggestion from a fellow book-lover bong 😉😊

Couldn't have said it better ! What surprises me more and more with each passing episode is - the utter selfishness and arrogance of the Dixits. Will Dev ever learn ? Is that even a solution to force Ranveer to accept your arrogant sister's unfair demands ? He did it 3 times before, he is doing it again. I absolutely LOATHE it how Dev can't see things beyond his family ! Being THIS selfish for your family and disregarding other's emotions/choices/sentiments like this is really the characteristics of a good human being ? NO. This is somewhat Episode 180+ and Dev is still where he was in Episode 3 - Forcing Sona to serve his ego by unfair means ! I have never seen such selfish male lead ever in tele world, and if there are, then there is a learning curve, the leads slowly learn to value everyone's sentiments. Cannot justify the selfishness of Dixits just in the name of so-called 'troubled' past.

And thanks to everyone in this thread who rightfully mentions about Sona's being self-respect-less meek timid low-profile horrible-self Is this what I signed for ?? NO. In the name of reality, they have turned her into a much worse version of 'gopi bahu'.. If the show is anything close to real, they should show her struggle to accept such character-transformation, they should show her fight between her brain and heart, her judgments about the selfish Dixits, her wondering how double-standard they are, at least some monologues on the same if she can't express these to anyone ? Instead Sona is happy being Dev's toy which Ishwari has got for her. For once, neither Sona, nor Mamaji is telling Dev to ponder over Neha's demands that if tomorrow Sona had asked the same, will Dev accept it ? I want to see Dev's expressions when he will come face-to-face with his own selfish-soul 🤔.

I have no words for Ishwari. Her claim to know Neha is laughworthy. It was her who forced Dev to agree for Neha and Ranveer's wedding saying lau is everything blah blah. If she had known Neha THAT well, why couldn't she stop that marriage itself . Howmuchever sad I am for Ranveer, I am happy if he is out of this paagalkhana 😳. I still sympathize with Neha. I dont want to defend her actions, but I still can understand the criticality of Neha's character. But honestly Dev surprises me. Who can understand Ranveer's poverty, his responsibility towards his family, his self-respect and the burden of running a family on his own - better than Dev himself ? And what irritates me more is the justifications thrown to defend his pathetic actions.

I read somewhere in the spoiler than Ranveer is going to question the Dixits on their looking at this divorce thing differently. I just hope he or somebody asks the right and MOST valid question at this scenario - If Dev were Ranveer, what would Dixits want him to do !

I feel like going inside my screen and ask this myself 😡

Thank you. I personally believe that when if we demand to make our own choices, we should have the guts to take the responsibility for them as well. Whether the outcome is good or bad, we should not blame others for our own choices.

I find Dixits are very happy to take credit for their right decision, but not at all willing to take the blame for the wrong ones. It's always someone else's fault.
