Agree with you completely. I don't see a point of lying where lying is not required. Here a lie is way more harmful than truth. So hard to justify lying at that situation.

Dev always lied very smoothly. He always took the easy way out from any confrontation with reality. But this is not a small white lie.

I was seeing Sonakshi today and was thinking that how proud Bijoy and Asha was that they gave her a good upbringing and they always taught her to stand up for her rights. Today, to get the right of her husband, she is lying to her mother-in-law. At least if she had told the truth and Ishwari had denied, she could have asked why and got some grasp of the situation. But here, she is falling in everyone's estimation and this time it's her fault.

I don't expect a woman to be Mother Teresa. But I expect a strong woman to take their rights without resorting to manipulation and lies. It's again a matter of self-respect. No woman of integrity and self-respect would lie to take their rightful place.

Because people lie when they do something sordid or wrong. When Sona lied before marriage to spend time with Dev, no one knew about their relationship. But now they are legally married. By lying to Ishwari, she turned her own time with her husband into as sordid and shameful as an extra-marital affair. And that's how they will feel when they come back and Ishwari confronts them.

Everyday I comment on the episodes once I watch it after going back home from work. But today's episode and precap seemed more on facts and incidents and less on emotions, so I will comment now itself.

My perception of Honesty closely lies in alignment with what Krishna from Mahabharata practices. I can't say I blindly follow the Great Yudishthira and never lie. But I believe that to practice own version of honestry, everyone becomes the follower of their own judgement and that judgement grows from your education, influence from your surroundings and above all, the lessons learnt in the greatest journey of all called life. And here is my question. I am seeing 2 educated individuals resorting to hidings and lies for situations where there are 100 ways to avoid that.

Dev not telling Sonakshi the truth about her medical reports - First of all, Sonakshi is a doctor herself, if any complications she is in better position to come up with resolutions for this painful scenario. Secondly, what is the end result of such lies and hiding ? One day he HAS to tell Sonakshi right ? Then why not now ? It's not like this is some permanent solution and your ultimate goal to save her from pain is going to be fulfilled anyways. Sometimes we DO resort to lies from old people but the target is never to let them know, not for some temporary pleasure. Hiding stuff should not be taken as the first option to pursue. I absolutely LOATHE this. Neither logic, nor intention can explain me the reason.

Sona lying to Ishwari to go to a date with Dev - REALLY ? 😳 The same Sonakshi who always faced an inner battle and finally used to go for direct confrontation and showdowns instead of lying to someone is now choosing this as a good option ? The last time she lied it went really well (Making food for Dadi Bua) and this is why I say lying shouldn't be encouraged. It has a tendency to get inspired from 1 successful save rather than retrospecting about 1000 other disasters. Anyways, Sona is going down to Dixit's level and I had been repeating myself about that since long now. 😊 Instead of sticking to her basic characteristics and being truthful to Ishwari about going to a date with Dev (which she knows is no crime or bad), she chose to lie. And what can I say about the teacher - Ishwari, will she be pleased when Sonakshi would explain to her that she did it to avoid problems like Ishwari taught her to during Dadi Bua incident. One must know how it feels to be in the receiving end of deceit and lies.

I have some concerns about Dev's promises and words in the episode as well, will post that in separate comment.

Granted Ishwari will come up with excuses to keep them away. But only if she asks her permission. I personally think as a courtesy it's enough to inform Ishwari that they are going to eat out. Ishwari won't be able to say anything to that without tipping her hand and true intention.

And if she does, at least Dev and Sona will know what's going on and they will be better prepared for what to expect in future and how to handle these issues.

In case of Sona, she has a medical condition. It's her right to know the truth, not just a doctor but also as a human being. Dev never took second opinion. It's possible that there are other complications or no complication at all. But he didn't know because he locked the information away as if it will go away if not confronted.. Not to mention a doctor is in better position to know if there is any treatment available or the alternate choices.

It will be worse when the truth comes out. Ishwari will again blame Sona for lying and cheating them even though she didn't know about it. Because no one believes a lier and Sona has started to harm her own credibility due to her lying. You know the story about the shepherd who cried false?

what did the cvs turn sona to? but i guess she is desperate to spend time alone with her husband and solve their issues most importantly connect with each other. if ishwari finds out she will be emotional blackmail them asking whether she doesnt cook them good food, why waste money blah blah

and dev with him hiding this news from her isnt going to make it go away. isnt it better if she finds early and check whether there is any treatment for it. Sona isnt going to thank him for keeping from her. its her damn right to know about her condition.

Both sona and dev are going to suffer later when ishwari and sona finds out about it.

LOL nope ,Just had a tiny expectation from CV's But ab woh bhi PHUSS ho gayi 😆😆😆

It's pity what they did with sona's character ,Girl who used to be moralistic ,knew about what is right or wrong, always used to support the Right side .
Now succumb to lying also.
I guess according to CV's after falling in love people also tends to lose morality along with their self respect.😆

Good going CV's👏

Another Good message from them.😳😳

Why can't Dev Dixit tell his mother he ate dinner at his inlaws house? Is it okay to lie if you don't want to hurt somebody with the truth? Is Sonakshi getting familiar with the Dixit's culture- lies and deception in the pretext of love and care? Damn it!

I would like to reserve my judgement on whether sona would lie to ishwari or will she just tell dev that they are going to mama's house to save his surprise.. I would wait and then pass on my judgement tomorrow. As i still think sona will probably not lie to ishwari when she is alone with her. May be she has dev with her when ishwari asks where they are going.. Lets see

Well we all know that Dev doesnt hesitate to lie .. He lies left and right when ever he gets a chance justifying that he is trying to protect someone or trying to not upset someone or what not.. But he lies all the time .. The only thing is ishwari things dev never lies to her.. But unfortunately he lies mostly only to her..and ishwari lies to dev with out any hesitation...so i have no hopes for mom and son atleast in the near future...

To make changes in dixit household, dev has to first start speaking truth only thenwe can expect any change

This is not the first time CVs forgot their own story and this won't be the last time.

The entire Dixit family is mental case. Google them to know more.

Ishwari - Borderline Personality Disorder (obsessed with a person)

Dev - Compulsive Lier (Lies by default)

Sonakshi - Bipolar (Swings from one character to another)

Radha - Abusive (Likes to inflict pain)

Vicky - Narcissistic Personality Disorder (Things the world revolves around him)

Mamaji - Depression

Neha - Sadistic Personality Disorder

Riya - Anxiety

Nikki - Fantasy Prone Personality

Us, the intelligent audience - Masochists

Truth, Lie and Time have a strange connection.

With time, even the harshest truth becomes tolerable and even forgettable.

But with the same time, even the most innocent lies spoken in the best intention, becomes unforgivable and more painful.

Truth breaks you first, but builds your character stronger than ever.

Lie shields you from the inevitable break from where you sometimes can't even build yourself up in the exact same way as you were.

Once trust gets broken, it never reaches the same height as before.
