If ishwari is possessive about dev then absolutely dev also have everything to do with it and CVS want to show that only. There twisted relationship. At the launch shaheer said that for the 1st time not just the mother but son will also not want want to leave his mom. Hence dev goes to any lengths to please his mother but he is not fully aware of the extent of her possessiveness and he is actually boosting it days why he again does not know that his mother would have been hurt if he would have said that he will have dinner with Bose.As for telling the truth that he even had partial dinner with Bose is also something he cannot do becoz for ishwari is always about being 1st in his son's life not just an option. If for eg he did say that he ate dinner still he will eat her food ishwari's 1st thought will be things r changing. I am not 1st anymore.Dev and ish's relationship is uncomfortable and unhealthy surely but why is something more that will revealed I think in future as there is more to their past as it seems

the point is that since ages dev has been feeding ishwari lies & all that has to end at one point. the dev sonakshi scene sonakshi was right dev wasnt. instead he should be understanding what sona said & try to correct what he has been doing wrong all these years, instead of hiding it under the garb of the difficult times he has faced love for his mom & all.
