Meghan Markle's show on Netflix a disaster, critics label it 'pretentious', 'boring' and 'cash grab'

Meghan Markle’s show With Love, Meghan has not fared well on Netflix. The second season got on air from August 26 and has very bad ratings. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a score of 20 per cent which is way lesser than the 38 per cent of the first season. The viewership was only 27 % which is also really low. Meghan Markle who became a global name with the show Suits on Netflix had a fairy-tale marriage with Prince Harry. She got the title of the Duchess of Sussex. However, she later alleged that she was bullied in the royal family and kind of severed ties with them. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry came to build a new life in California with their kids.

The show combines cooking, lifestyle and wellness with a dash of celebrity quotient. We see Meghan Markle’s friends coming over as they bond over cooking and hobbies. People have found it terribly boring, contrived and out of touch. Media outlets from the UK said the series makes a pretentious attempt at finding meaning while being a vehicle to make quick cash. This season, we had celebs like Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend, Tan France, Jose Andres and Jamie Kern Lima but the celeb interactions felt too curated.

Meghan Markle’s kids Prince Archie and Lilibet were also seen on the sets of the Netflix show. It seems Meghan will also pay a tribute to her mom Doria Ragland on the show. The was no appearance of Prince Harry on her show, With Love, Meghan. However, fans saw her engagement ring, which is one of the most expensive ones ever. It seems Prince Charles, Prince Harry and Prince William are working on their relationship so that he can make a return to the royal household. It seems they do care about the grandchildren.
