Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Maira runs away from home to find Abhira, gets kidnapped

In tonight’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira is shown cleaning utensils. While cleaning, her eyes fall on a black coat, which stirs up painful memories, leaving her unsettled.

Meanwhile, Jaya expresses gratitude to Abhira for extending her help. Lost in thought, Abhira wonders how she ended up behind bars for a crime she never committed, noting how strange the people around her seem. During their conversation, Jaya shares that Abhira reminds her of someone very dear. She recalls that she once had a daughter who used to visit her regularly, but eventually, those visits stopped.

Later, she discovered her daughter had married and told her new family that her mother was no longer alive. Shocked, Abhira says such a revelation must have crushed the mother. At that moment, Jaya discloses that the heartbreaking story is her own. She warns Abhira not to pin her hopes too high, adding that very few walk out of jail alive—only lifeless bodies leave those walls.

Armaan's guilt deepens:

Elsewhere, Armaan grows restless with haunting thoughts that Abhira might have been executed. His guilt deepens, and Geetanjali urges him to focus on his own health before worrying about Abhira. However, Armaan admits that Abhira's suffering weighs heavily on him. As rain pours, he asks Geetanjali to step inside, saying he cannot bear the burden of guilt if she were to fall sick because of him.

Back in the jail, Jaya asks if Abhira has managed to sleep. Abhira replies that after longing for seven years, she finally found her daughter and could rest peacefully, but now everything feels shattered again. She hallucinates Armaan and Maira coming to meet her, her heart aching for Maira's presence.

Tanya scolds Maira:

On the other side, Kaveri and Vidya try to convince Maira to get ready for school, but instead, she starts unpacking her bag. She insists she will only go to school once Abhira returns. Kaveri explains that Abhira would not like it if she skipped school, but Maira argues that Abhira would get upset and come back, and then she would hug her tightly and never let her leave.

Vidya gently explains that Abhira will not be able to return, but Maira questions where her mother is. Frustrated, she throws her bag aside, declaring that she won't go to school without Abhira and Armaan.

At that moment, Tanya is coming down the stairs while looking at Anshuman's photo on her phone. Maira's bag accidentally hits Tanya's hand, causing her phone to slip, which makes Tanya angry. She scolds Maira for being stubborn, and cannot be allowed to misbehave with Kaveri and Vidya. Vidya steps in and says Tanya is frightening the little girl.

Maira learns about Armaan’s marriage to Geetanjali:

Before the matter escalates further, Geetanjali arrives and stops Tanya from saying more against Maira. This sparks an argument between Tanya and Geetanjali. Vidya intervenes and reminds them that the family already has enough problems, and it is not right for both daughters-in-law to be fighting.

Hearing this, Maira becomes confused. She knows Tanya is the daughter-in-law of the house, but she wonders how Geetanjali can also be one. Tanya then reveals that Geetanjali is also the daughter-in-law because she is married to Armaan. Hearing this, Maira is left shocked and goes completely silent. Before Geetanjali can explain further, Maira runs upstairs, unable to process the truth. Meanwhile, back in jail, Abhira continues with her cleaning duty while Kesari makes things difficult for her.

At the same time, Maira, carrying her packed bag, is seen on the road trying to reach the jail to meet Abhira. Back in her cell, Abhira feels uneasy and senses that something bad is about to happen, as if it were a signal from God.

Meanwhile, Maira asks a passerby for directions to the jail, unaware that a group of men are keeping a close watch on her. Soon after, those men grab her and force her into a van, leaving the little girl terrified and helpless.
