Cant believe CV team is taking Ishwari's insecurity to the level of sexual jealousy...I hope they have done enough research on this one ...though most of us had guessed that Ishu - Dev's relationship isnt normal.

All our guesses on one aspect was spot on. Ishwari depends on Dev's emotional support. After she lost her husband that emotional vacuum that she faced was filled by Dev's emotional backing ...and that is why she has a sexual jealousy with Sona...Sexual Jealousy among females mostly happens because of fear of loosing the emotional support (related to emotional infidelity )...psychologically proven theory !!

She doesnt want Sona and Dev to get physically close because she feels if that happens then she will loose Dev 's emotional support and care..Now when Sona try's to reason with Dev, he will support his mom...because for him she is god and always true...

Regarding her curiosity abt the gift... Let her open the box...probably she will faint..I think it might be some night wear ...let her know what her son's intentions are 😳😆...on a serious note ..I really want her to open and see ...seriously I want her to know what her son's intentions are and this is going to be her first realisation... the fact that she cant fulfill all the needs of her Son...mom has her limitations!!

She needs help this is a huge psychological issue...its not normal...I hope the cv team realises this aspect and not show it as like a Sas Bahu track...because this aspect cannot be sorted with out proper counseling...

Agree completely. This is not normal behavior and needs proper counseling.Redemption through any other means is impossible for me.Her behavior is so disturbing to see.I can't accept it as normal insecurity.

Ishwari won't understand anything so easily.She loves to deny and ignore everything.If Dev states his intentions in front of her, she'll still find a way to deny it and blame Sona.

As for Gift- Leave Ishwari,I sure wanted to see it😆😆I was really wishing Dev kisses Sonakshi right in front of Ishwari😆

@ BOLD ...I agree with you ...Dev still has not realised his mom's psychological problem ( I am not going to call it a simple MILs insecurity anymore) Sona will bring up the topic for sure...and this is definitely not going to go down well with Dev . He is going to get defensive...I would be interested to see the level of possessiveness that he has towards his mom...because you never know..what he is going thru...he seems normal now..but if he is going to behave anywhere similar to the way he behaved to her during the break up...I will say both mom and son requires counseling !!

I dont mind CVs introducing the topic of emotional infidelity /sexual jealousy track but they should do their proper research in it...it cant be handled like Sas Bahu track...Here mom doesnt want her son to consummate the marriage and why ?? She feels jealous of her son's wife...that is not normal...no way its normal!! I hope they dont make blunters as they did for prenup and inhospitable Uterus track intro.

If they show these issues without proper research like the pre nup and infertility, they might as well throw the phrase" touch of reality" from their description of the show.They've already shown too many aspects which are not even near reality.

Cvs wants to show mental disorder way may be. But it is going to be very hard for us to watch.. We love so much devakshi. .afraid to see slightest difficult. .

Hope Cvs solve this ishwari problem asap. .my heart is already started aching thinking about devakshi future.

Well we saw what happened today..

Coming to Cvs..what they r planning..that can not be said ..and I dont want to predict it..coz thats the best thing otherwise dimaag ka dahi ho jata hai ..so leave it

Today's episode..I literally freaked out when I saw Ish behaving like thta..coz I dint expect it..It came as a rude shock ..

1. Ish Sona scene at breakfast table- well her mood swings is what makes her so mischievous ..koi pata hi nahi kar sakta..what she might do/say next moment..she got angry on Sona or shouted made her cry is not I was bothered..what I noticed from her talks was her mind ..She was so smartly placing everything..It looked clearly she planned what she has to say to Sona..and manipulate her accordingly..I felt she was not bothered about her emotions or Sona'sin that moment..she just wanted to comfort herself by making sure she get what she want ..and she DID get that

2. Dev taking BF for wifey- Ishwari reaction wasnt surprising at all..she never liked any change in her life nor in her house nor in Dev's life and jab beta khud nashta le jaye ..and mtaji ko serve kar ke khilaney ka mauka na miley toh her irritation was obvious..and in that moment I noticed how deep down it goes and gave me a small shock..small one 😆

3 gift scene - firstly,the name "MRS DIXIT"..her sharing this name with Sona too is making her so uncomfortable..so no need to guess how much disturbed she is seeing poori ki poori Mrs Sonakshi Dixit in her house roaming around😆 ..next when she got to know Dev sent gift to her , she again got reality check..Dev is sharing his life with Sona and she is so unaware of it..She doesnt know wahts happening in his life ..coz he used to share his everyday's activity with his mothr..and never hid anything from her..though she instantly masked her discomfort by shouting on nikki and by being sweet to Sona :)

4 Dev Sona consummating - Now the most important part..Dev Sona making love and becoming hubby wifey in every possible way..well I just cant say why she doesnt want that to happen..I have literally no clue..I am so lost in this case..on a lighter note..she thinks Sona is a TOY and how can toy and human get physical ..toy ko toh use kar ke cupboard mein rakh dena chahiye right ??😆 ok thats stupid ..but seriously ..her fear that she will completely loose importance in his life and will be replaced by Sona..Dev usko poochega bhi nahi ..and she will sit in some corner of the house feeling like trash unwanted..kya pata kya wajah hai ..dekhtey hain

Whether Cvs r planning any mental disorder for her or not ..this has to be seen but yeah ..Mothr's do feel so ..woh "loss" wali feeling aati hai ..but koi situation ko maturely accept kar leti hain ..some can't ..some adjust and compromise..and some gets creepy and disturbed like Ish..

I am trusting CVs..😆

I dont think its gonna be any disorder ..currently I dont get such feeling..

You are absolutely right. Brilliant analysis.

I wrote in response to one of the comments in my yesterday's post this morning before today's episode aired.

Ishwari wants everyone to be helpless in her absence to maintain her importance. But a parent should do exactly the opposite. The purpose of a parent is to make their children independent so that they can be on their own when they are no longer alive. No one's parents live forever.

Even birds push their young from the nest so that they can learn to fly. It is the rule of the nature.

Ishwari is completely unnatural mother.

I also had said back when she tried to commit suicide that if Dev was a really good son, he will take his mother to a psychiatrist instead of dancing to her whim and breaking up with Sona.

If you notice today that Ishwari lies to herself so extensively that she is starting to believe her own lies. And because she thinks that she is doing the right thing, she is starting to lose her conscience.

It is textbook signs of Borderline Personality Disorder where a person is obsessed with something or someone and can go to any length to keep that thing or person to themselves to the point that they can commit crime all the while convincing themselves that it's for their own good.

The show Beyhad is showing the extreme case of that mental disorder.

Google it if you want to know more about it. You'd think that you are reading about Ishwari.

First and foremost, excellent post.

If the cv's and PH are really going to stick to mental disorder and treatment thereof, I must say it would be the first ever path-breaking show on Indian television. Would they dare to do so is yet to be seen.

Everything they have shown till date and now about Ishwari as to what she feels about her son is not normal by any definition. Putting it under insecurity is certainly again side-lining the real mental issue that this lady has like many cases in India of various kinds. In real life having such a mother and MIL, every time lead the marriage to divorce, no exceptions there. This in India. Abroad people understand and acknowledge mental issues do exist and they go for proper treatment to get better. But alas, here people try to hide things as much as possible. No one dares to tell the truth, acceptance is don't even think about it.

If the same character is replaced by a GF/BF/husband/wife I tell you its a blockbuster movie idea and people would love to watch it too. But mother, it would be hard to digest. Not limited to urban or rural area or the education per say. If someone talks of mental health problems, everybody else would look at you as something is wrong with you only. I just hope cv's don't make it an overnight change of heart and boom we get loving and caring Ishwari, because that just doesn't happen anywhere.

This is not a very unusual case, 2 of my friends do have such MILs and I'm sure there are many ! I am glad the show is highlighting this ! The cupboard key scene was so damn well executed. In real life also this is exactly how it happens when it comes to sharing the important things with the DILs, and the MILs do it so well that it almost seems like they have rehearsed it since long and just delivered a perfect offensive (here used as opposite of defense) shot like today Ishwari 😳

I am kind of at loss of words, I'm just glad to have a well-mannered and educated MIL in my life. Here Ishwari's endless try to stop Sona getting closer to Dev is scary 😲 The sad reality is MILs do want to join the couple even in their honeymoon trips and I have seen many people cancelling their honeymoon due to that. Ishwari might be having a mental disorder, but so does a considerable percentage of MILs in India, this isn't a standalone case at all.

So perfectly agreed with the analysis of Ishwari's ruse words to Sona by taunting her about sleep and almost threatening her till the point she breaks down. This does happen everywhere that if MIL is not happy, the whole house is turned upside down. It becomes almost like a criminal offense for the other people at home specially the son/s and the DIL/s to have a healthy happy life if Mommy is having a bad day. Today just that happened and soon even Dev is going to be in the receiving end of some taunts where the couple would literally start feeling guilty for loving each other

These days I am happy with the show except for the DB part. Glad she is leaving! 🥳
