Wrt Non Veg and Ishwari , She is lady who from her younger age followed the Brahmin way of life. For them eating non veg is an absolute no - no...even then for her son's happiness she agreed, but the Brahmin way of life that is a part of her is making her feel guilty.

Its easy for non - vegetarians to eat vegetarian food...but its almost impossible for a pure vegetarian to eat or even share the same table with a non vegetarian...

Will give you an example...When we say non veg typically for majority Indians, its abt chicken , mutton, fish, crab, prawns, beef , pork etc...and that too cooked properly using spices...
Having said that ppl who eat the above do you think can share the same table with a person who eats fried insects, octopus , snakes...? For that matter share a table with a person who eats Sushi ?? ( These are huge delicacy in ASEAN regions , Japan etc ) Its their food. We cant make fun of them...but reality is that we wont be able to eat our food seeing what they are eating...

Again in Europe people eat steak and most of the time its just rare or medium rare which means the center of the meat will be raw ...most Indians find it difficult to eat that because we are used to eating absolutely cooked food...eating habits cant change that easily...call it the way of life ..

So I will not blame Ishwari in this case...she had a very genuine point..

Regarding Dev telling his mom...I would like to see what he says and why he does...would comment after I see the serial...but I have this feeling in my mind that Ishwari will use this to get Sona to Sign the prenup...and we dont know if Sona has been told abt this or not...and knowing that does she still want to get married to Dev?? Too many permutation and combinations when it comes to the plot of this story...so will see what the CV team gives us tomorrow and then comment.

PS : Not very happy with the CV team . I dont think they have done proper research for both infertility and prenup track.

Inhospitable uterus is a very generic term - it is a condition in the uterus because of which a lady finds it difficult to become pregnant/ stay pregnant. There can be multiple reasons to this ...the primary ones are because there is some growth in the lining of the uterus leading to the egg getting not fertilised or that the egg cant be implants to the wall .
Fibroid, polyps etc also leads to inhospitable conditions for pregnancy . Its not that it cant be made hospitable.
There are cases in which the uterus wont be strong enough to take the weight of the baby...and it starts coming down around 4th month...even at that point drs give medicine to sustain the pregnancy and use surgical method to get it tied up in a place...and just before couple of weeks before the due date they remove the knot..( my friend went thru this )

Then again prenup one - one lawyer for both parties ...?? no witness?? and not signing in front of each other ?? surprised !!🤣

The cause of it being inhospitable is not told. It can be made hospitable too...

Today's episode showed me another dose of hypocrisy in Dixit family.

The Dixit family is FULL of hypocrisy and double standards.

They feel disgusted by non-veg food because they are from the upper caste/pujari family. What kind of worship do you do Ishwari? How can you even look into your God's eyes? Don't you feel ashamed even a little bit for lying in front of your God? If you want to beg for forgiveness, then ask your God to forgive your deceit (if you can be forgiven). That is a far worse crime than serving non-veg food.

You defraud your own son one day and feel disgusted by Bose family's food habit?

They are far better than you hypocrites. Yes, they eat Non-veg food. But they a. don't cheat or defraud their own family and b. They don't pretend to be animal lover while wearing silk sarees and leather chappals.

I don't need to tell you that leather chappals don't come from trees and silk is obtained by dropping LIVE silk worms into hot boiling water. But you hypocrites happily consume animal products while looking down on people who eat non-vegetarian food.

EXACTLY. I don't get this hypocrisy of looking down at someone's culture when you do the exact same thing in just another manner. Oh no, for Ishwari whatever she's doing for her children (more like just Dev) is valid and justifiable no matter what she does and the means she resorts to.

Of course you will now pretend to be generous in front of the family. When your fraudulent deeds come out, you will have to show something to compare favourably to maintain your goddess status. You know, like you tried to defend your arranging matchmaker for Sona behind Dev's back with his money with the excuse that you did it out of concern for them?

Although it's like saying, "Yes, your honour. I abused my wife but I didn't steal from her."

What you have done is such a criminal act that NOTHING can absolve you from this.

Noticed the way she backs off and starts to rush in the opposite direction the minute Bijoy leaves Dixit household after he apologizes to Bijoy about the prenup? Because she didn't want to face Dev, she couldn't knowing what she's done. The day the truth will be out, Ishwari will face her most dreaded fear, losing out on her only worshipper.

And Dev, do you understand that Medical Reports are CONFIDENTIAL? That's why doctors don't post them on notice board. If Sona wants to share her medical report with YOUR mom, that's her business. But you have absolutely no right to share HER personal medical report with YOUR mother.

Would you like it if Sona announces your mother's mental issues to her family?

Or better yet, if you had found out that there's only 7% chance that you can father children and Sona ran to her dad to relay that news, how would you feel? Won't you feel that was your medical report that only you had the right to share?

You better not go and blab in front of your mom without Sona's permission.

I don't know if this actually happens in real life too but what parents would leave their daughter with their would be son-in-law in such a condition knowing how delicate and sensitive the matter could be just because they had preparations to do?! 😳 At least, Asha could have stayed back but of course, that doesn't serve the story purpose. Precap does show Dev approaching Ishwari with the news but I don't think he'll tell her. Either because he changes his mind at the last moment considering it inappropriate to share or get cold feet out of the fear that Ishwari might reject Sona once again.

I don't think he'll tell Sona either. Again, out of the fear that she'll call off the marriage as she wouldn't want Dev's dreams of having kids to be shattered. That's saying keeping the consent aside but agreed, he has no right to share the news to anybody except Sona's parents and Sona herself.

Great post once again! Love reading your views on every episode. My replies are in bold above. 😳

Waise, Dev ka surname Dixit hai na? Madhuri Dixit to non-vegetarian hai. Apne pati ke liye Shrimp curry banati hai? Problem create karne ke liye kuch bhi karte hai CVs.

Actually with respect to the surname Dixit, CV's haven't shown anything wrong. The surname Dixit is often used by Maharashtrian Brahmins. Some of them are vegetarians and some others non-vegetarians, thats usually by choice. Madhuri dixit eats non-veg because she was settled in Denver for a long time. So she's a non-vegetarian by choice. I am assuming Dixit family is conservative with respect to food habits. But Ishwari's hypocrisy is not justified at all, agree with you in this aspect.

Kya farq padta hai agar thoda bahut law break hota hai to?

Oh goodness. This is epic. 🤣

Please read my comment above. There's a solution to all problems. You just need to have a will to look for a solution.

I know the problem vegetarian people have and if they had calmly asked Dev to make separate arrangements for food in two different rooms, I am sure Dev could afford it. But it's their name calling and utter hypocrisy is something I am not being able to digest.

Also, Ishwari's logic is hilarious. She'll deny the rightful legal rights to her daughter-in-law and her grandchildren through prenuptial agreement (that too by deceit) but she's got jewellery and stuff that she especially got it made for her grandchildren. What do I do but laugh?! 🤣 Sometimes, I wish Ishwari's mother-in-law should have given her the exact same treatment as she's meting out to Sona. How and why she keep forgetting kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi?

A woman who can deprive her own daughters of their basic rights of education which is free in Govt. schools for low income families yet have the guts to claim that she wants to give all her children equal rights with her son's hard work, how would she even remember her mother in law?

Thank you for your opinion. Yes, I know that vegetarianism is a big issue for pure vegetarians. But Dev is so rich he could hire a hotel with two rooms - one serving non-veg and one serving veg. Lots of hotels have both. Why not a wedding? Wouldn't that be a better solution instead of all this drama in front of people as if someone is stuffing non-vegetarian food in their mouth?

Not to mention the name calling was totally offensive.

I SWEAR I wanted to jump into the scene right then when Ishwari and Co. and Dev discuss about food and give them this idea 'cause none of them thought of this. Such jhalle people! 😆 This is the most simplest and perhaps the best solution there is to this issue. Keep it separate, make sure the food is cooked separately and served separately. Also, why can't the marriage take place according to both cultures? Itne paise wale hai, aaram se do shaadiyan kar sakte hai. I remember YHM dealt with the same scenario so gracefully.

Exactly. Jaise maine kahan ki jinko solution nikalna hota hai wo nikal lete hai aur jinko sirf doosro ko nicha dikhana hota hai wo koi bhi excuse bana sakte hai.

The same can be done for wedding type. Do shaadiyan karo. Akbar kar sakta hai to Dev nehin kar sakta?

Meri cousin jo marwadi ladke se shaadi ki hai usne do shaadiyan ki ek hi din mein. First we had the Marwari shaadi and then we had the Bengali shaadi. Humne Bengali Aashirwad aur Aiburobhat bhi kiya aur Sangeet, Mehendi bhi ki. Kitna mazaa aaya. Yehi to mazaa hota hai inter-racial marriage ka. Yeh zaroori thodi hai ki ek ki hi baat rakhhi jaaye?
