I see the discussion is now about veg and non veg...this is Not a snarky post but my two cents on this topic.

My husband and I are Brahmin we are vegeterian but 2 different kind..bear with me I am trying to make a point.

His family eggs were taboo..whereas I was born in a liberal family and I used to eat eggs and even rebelled at college and ate chicken and fish

At our wedding pure vegetarian after all I was one too though a pseudo one

My husband moved abroad and had no clue to cook so he started eating eggs..this was several years ago so not many veg options and a poor student cannot afford to eat out.

I moved here and took up my occasional chicken habits though drew the line on pork and beef citing religion..yes I am an hypocrite

We have kids and they eat chicken, turkey and fish and of course my hypocrisy continued and forbid them to eat beef or pork and they don't.

The point I am trying to make is choice of food is personal and has also a strong relationship to religious beliefs also we are conditioned that way too

Here the only Hippocrates I see (me not included) are the makers of this show. They. Just use different things to bring out the drama elements as they fit. Dev was a doormat now suddenly he is making decisions on food without asking his mom...this is the same Dev who ..don't want to go there you understand without his mom

Easwari is right in voicing her beliefs but looks like says it is ok now? Because the Cvs cannot show her plotting all the time have to show her mahaan in Dev eyes sometime for future references.

Bijoy always was harping about his food so they threw him in the mix..also to get Dev some brownie points..poor guy is going to need the whole store

The point I am trying to make is the creators of this serial is just showing anything for drama

What Tia was trying to show is if you have a pure heart does not

Matter what you eat..here Easwari does not

I know the problem vegetarian people have and if they had calmly asked Dev to make separate arrangements for food in two different rooms, I am sure Dev could afford it. But it's their name calling and utter hypocrisy is something I am not being able to digest.
