See, you proved me right with your reply. Told ya, you always manage to capture and articulate all our feelings towards a particular track. I was waiting for you to make a post about this. Like you correctly pointed out, this show has managed to garner an intelligent audience that expects better from the makers. They were doing so well, then suddenly the drama quotient increased. I attributed it to the TRP race, but then now they are just going in circles. Even the dialogues are getting repetitive. Mom- Son keep romancing each other, Sonakshi keeps telling Dev to stop troubling, Dev refuses to listen, Ritwik keeps repeating his 2 tarah ke log, Bijoy keeps getting mad at Ishwari.

I can only hope they are reading our reactions and will take steps to improve.

Once again, Thank you soo much for the very very generous words. You're right. I do love it. I discovered writing recently, after I joined the forum, so somehow I will always have this show to thank for it. I do love writing, but what keeps me going is the response I get from awesome readers like you. It just feels so good to see your efforts being appreciated.

Once you get a little free time, I do hope you make a post on the current track and any other observations that you might have. I would love to read it.🤗

Dear Malvika, thank you for penning this lovely 11 part novella. It provided me and so many others on the forum with much needed respite from the show during it's disappointing phase (hope it is a phase).

The story, prose, characterization, setting up of the scene, descriptions of emotions of the lead and supporting characters, all of it has come together to make for a very enjoyable read.

As I have said earlier, it is no mean task to write a story set in different time frames and it is certainly an achievement to successfully bring out the emotions and behaviors of characters in each of these time frames. Your writing is so smooth that it seems almost effortless but I am sure it is not!!

I loved the Dev, Sona, Ishwari and Bose family of your story. They conducted themselves as we hoped the originals would (maybe I should now refer to your characters are originals).

I have loved reading your work and hope to read more of it, in a more public forum.

I started reading it last night (or you can call it early morning) at like 4.30 or something and finished it in like two hours or less. So I basically slept once I was done with it. The concept might be clich, but the way you wrote it was fabulous. And honestly, I love concepts like these so much. It reminded me a little bit of the movie 'The Vow'.

Caught up on the episodes today and was blown away by Ishwari's style of emotional blackmail to Dev in Friday's episode. I am surprised this character still has that effect on me but the way she handled the whole 'tell Dev not to call Sona' sequence ending with the late night chat in his room n walking off... and listening to Mama share the story of his lost love in an earlier ep ... the makers just brought this story to the level of all other shows on TV... am guessing this is not where they planned to head but have now nicely brought themselves home to India TV! Sad!!

Was re-reading this FF (I know, I'm weird) and hearing the title song from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, you have to do it!! The song works so well with the mood and tone of the story and somehow made me feel more emotions throughout each line.

Ps. The intimacy you show between Sona and Dev in this story is so unbelievably delicate and beautiful. I don't think they will be able to show that intimacy between them in the show (not just physical but emotional). This evolved relationship they have in this story makes me secretly wish this was in the show and not just an FF.

Thank you for making an FF that has stuck in my heart and always will. Oh, if only I had found this FF before..I'd be able to love it even more!

Please, please, PLEASE continue writing more amazing stories because you have an actual gem of a gift. No one can write emotions, lines, descriptions like you :-)
