Malvika - I don't think you should be thanking me for the reviews, you have just ensured my continuity with the way you have weaved this story and it's beyond brilliance, I am just lucky to have stumbled upon it!
I read Arch's comment and your reply to the same as well, though I agree with your view about Aarfa (Anushka's character in Sultan) per se but somewhere in attempt to get justice for herself and meeting out punishment for him, for the loss that was not hers' alone, she did forget why she had given-up her biggest ever dream in her life(an opportunity to participate in Olympics)- for that heartfelt, exuberant and at peace with the world blissful look on his face when he celebrated the news-probably breaking-off was need of the hour - his ego needed that jolt to snap out of the giddy feeling of having world at his feet, but no way she could blame him for the loss-that broke him completely to become a wrack-love can be so cruel sometimes!! I do like the fact that in your story even though hurt and broken Sonakshi's love for him will never let him to despair...and that's what love should be all about...wading through floods and emerging as winner...together...
Let's make a deal, you will keep writing such amazing stuff and I will always be around for reviewing it...it's win-win situation for me🤗
Oh! Thank you soo much aditi! That's so sweet of you.. your comments inspire me to write more😊
You're very correct. Salman's character needed that jolt to wake him up from his ego trip whereas in my story, Dev's only fault was that he wanted to protect Sonakshi from the pain and wanted a fresh start for their marriage. Dev's character has always been like this on the show, he seldom gives a damn about right or wrong when it comes to Sonakshi. I agree, in the movie, she couldn't blame him for them losing their child. He needed punishment for his ego trip and not for their child's death.
Which is why, in my story, Sonakshi will never blame Dev for them losing their kid. Who Dev believes to be responsible for their loss, that's another story altogether😉
If I have readers like you around who encourage and support my efforts, I will definitely keep writing more :)
Big hug to you!!
