So to the Aftereffects! - his eyes wary, hers' stricken and the moment of stare -conveys so much guilt, pain, sorrow, helplessness, grief, distress on his part and angst, accusation, complaint, disbelief and astonishment on her side

This part is all about re-living the most painful memory of hers and yes grudgingly -in back of her mind his as well-anger is because of stumbling upon instead of being shared-the way being married was-It was the biggest truth of her life and biggest secrets of his!!

Just loved the way you have incorporated some feminine aspects in the description of events without any compromise on the flow - like taking his most prized possession in fit of anger for a ride, understanding the gist of the message with just a fleeting look and of course remembering the parking rules even in most tormenting time!!

I can understand now why he was walking on eggshell all this while - he didn't want her to go through the loss all over again...the first time...conversation would have haunted him throughout and this was something he was dreading!

I do not blame him for being angry - anger is not because she is accusing him of lying or inconsideration or being kept away from such a huge loss - anger is in spite of ...having committed the sin (convincing himself that it was best for her under the circumstances) he couldn't stop/delay the inevitable for hurting her/breaking her again!

Yes it will be baby step journey of two broken soul towards each other again and I am fully prepared for the angst, pain, grief giving way to care, trust, passion and love that brought them together in this voyage of life!!
