Lol I'm more surprised by the fact that Kumudini was actually hurt by Aru's words against Tulsi & devdasis.
Maybe she was hurt on Tulsi's behalf since she knows that Tulsi loves that girl. Or maybe she was genuinely hurt & shaken because deep down she is fond of Aru in her own twisted way.
What do you think?
Haven't watch the ep but think you are right Kumu was hurt on Tulsi's behalf. She know her daughter love aaru more than anything and didn't think aaru was a threat other than being a pawn. Now she feel she had underestimate aaru - in her mind she is surprised that aaru can surrender herself for the Rao family considering everything they did to her namely PvR and Pavitra. even though we know aaru did it for tulsi but Kumu doesnt know that and she didnt think aaru would support her own family or PvR will actually try and change aaru as he never thought very highly about women. Kumu plan was to get aaru own family hate their own child and aaru to hate her own family that was her initial revenge to witness the downfall of the Rao's empire but it's backfired. Since Aaru's heart is bigger than this and she is still staying with them and Kumu was surprised how PvR thought of using aaru against them and at the end of the day it's worked since tulsi and aryan love aaru more than anything. Whether Kumu will admitted it or not - aaru is her family's weakness
I don't think kumu ever love aaru as that was clear when she exposed Aaru's true identity and I don't think PvR ever love aryan in a true sense that he had nevr shown any sorrows about aryan no longer being part of their family. He had only liked the idea of having aryan as a strong male heir but didn't love the boy.
I am pleased that tulsi didn't doubt aaru but is disappointed with aryan as he should know aaru and the rao's better than this. When he signed the papers without the reading I saw a similar characteristic in him with Pav as she did the same yesterday.
Got to go now and apologies for any silly typos
