Just rewatched the scene in the jungle track where Krishna tells Veer that her greatest fear is being alone. She tells him that it's the worst feeling when you love someone, plan to be with them, and then they leave you. And Veer shares her sentiment, understanding and empathizing with the loneliness that she feels.

That scene has so much more meaning now that we've gone through the separation track. They both feared being alone, and their fears came true. Krishna has now experienced this akelaapan twice in her life. And Veer, who built walls around his heart after his father died and chose to be alone so that he wouldn't be hurt again, brought those walls down for Krishna only to find himself alone again after losing her.

Akelaapan, indeed. 😭

I agree...I felt like when Krishna told him that she is scared of loneliness...the look veer gave was amusing...like he was surprised to hear that from her , all these yrs even he was lonely ...he must have felt the same answer which he had been experiencing all these years...
Not forget he completed her sentence about moon and stars 😳

Renu...I started to watch the show after Veer's entry. But still was not regular with the show bcoz the articles stated that Veer was a parallel lead. But with the death of Radhey...I watched it religiously. From the Veer 's entry till date ...I felt that jungle track was the most significant one.

The jungle track made them know each other...observe themselves closely...laid the foundation of trust...and eventually made them like each other or may I say they felt some strong attachments between them. That lonely commment, did bring out the similarites in emotions and their insecurites between them. How much they resembled each other regarding emotions. Both hated loneliness but irony is that both were passing thru it.Veer being abandoned by Shivani and Krishna of loosing Radhey. And till now both are suffering from the same fate of being lonely.I still can't forget Veer's breakdown after taking out the bullet from Krishna's waist. That was one hell of a scene.I think the fear of loosing Krishna struck him hard that moment. But the interesting part ...he didn't even realise his feelings then...that his heart has began to fall for Krishna subtley.

Good KCL student 👏, you have worked hard with the available material and researched such nuances very well. Keep it up 😆.
Jokes apart, thanks for bringing up this. That was a beautiful scene and yes it makes so much sense now. I'm sure Veer will be remembering it in his cell.

I honestly feel that moment is when he realized that he had more in common with Krishna than he originally thought and felt a different kind of connection with her, hence the expression on his face

And yes, loved his finishing her sentence! They were on the same wavelength 😊

Ishani, I completely agree with you! I also started watching the show after Veer's entry (really after they came back to India from London), and I felt the jungle track was when the relationship between Krishna and Veer began to shift without either of them fully realizing it. They established trust (Veer asking Krishna if she trusted him when they were tied up, and she saying yes, and then her trusting him to perform the surgery), they had a heart-to-heart conversation about their fears and were vulnerable with each other in a way they hadn't been before.

And the breakdown that Veer had after removing the bullet was one of the most raw, honest, powerful moments I've seen in ITV ever. As viewers, we never heard him express what he was feeling in that moment, but we saw it all. I wasn't on the forum at the time that scene was shown, but I can only imagine the amazing discussion this group would have had about that powerful scene. I still go back and rewatch it from time to time. I honestly think that scene was when I became fully invested in this show as a viewer and knew I was watching something special. ❤️

Sahana, you are too funny! 😆 I may be a good KCL student, but no one beats our dear Aneeqa, our encyclopedia 😉

You're right, this would make a beautiful flashback scene for Veer while in jail. I really hope they show that!!
