1. Why are you called Silk Smitha??? Going by the heat in Chennai.don't you think that you should be called "Cotton" Smitha????Aamaamae.. romba than 'heatu'. After all the hardwork, when someone's sweating, Cotton sticks to the body and it has no appeal. Silk keeps slipping away, making those who wear it, go after it. Do you get my peyar-kaaranam, now? 😉
2. How did U "enter" the industry??Ohhhh.. I never do any enter-ing business (industry or otherwise). I always let the others have fun doing it!

Already my kanns are the mayakkura, sorugura type. I specially train myself by half closing my eyes, to things that happen to and around me. Just pazhakka dhosham, that's all.
4. My sources say that after "Alaigal Oivathillai" you swore off Saris, coz you tripped and fell many times!!! IS it true?There were a lot of movies in which I wore sarees, ~poonal style upwards and saani midhikkara style downwards (where the saree doesn't go below the knees).
In Alaigal Oivadhillay, it was an exception with the way I had to wear my saree. Yeah.. such tripping and falling did happen, and I put the 'falling' to good use later..ahem. Never waste any opportunity, you see!
I was to able to forgive all that tripping, 'cos I had such a memorable character role. I got accolodes for my acting skills, back then. It was then that people realized, I'm not all beauty, but 'bra'ins too.

5. Did you take special trainings in "Voice Modulations"?? Like...arrrhh, ooommmph..yeeeiiii etc??

I know you are a gal asking me kostins, but if it were the other sex, or when needed, my voice automatically switches to the "moan" mode.
In movies, I challenge anyone to do a count of how many times I said things like "haaannnn.. yeeeiii...Cheeeyy ennai vidunga Mama" whilst holding the guy tight 😆6. How do you "maintain" your figure??
My answer is short and simple.
The policy is, always drink plenty of "fluids".. this will help "maintain" one's figure.
7. You acted as an heroine in a movie called "Silk Silk Silk"...How was your experience?? esp with Prabhu??
Sigh..It might as well have been titled "Bulk Bulk Bulk", with the kind of co-star I got. And that the movie went on to be a disaster, is no big surprise!I then advised Mr. Prabhu to get a pair in the future, who was more bulk than silk. And acting on my suggestion, he paired up with Kushboo and wow.. what a gajabuja jings pair they were!
I see to this day, he has taken my suggestion seriously and got to pair up with Jyothika as well😆 and that movie ended up being a hit too!8. Did you ever feel that you are not in the league of the"Jayamalinis", and "Anuraadhas" of the industry coz you were less flabby than them??

That's one song which I can't forget, even where I'm at now. I'm forever indebted to BaluMahendra sir for picking the misty cool Ooty as the shooting spot. Ka'mal' and I picked our outfits for the song and to this day, I feel we wore a little too much.. hee hee...The cool morning air and the scanty clothes and the good looking stud I was "working" with..everything was so mystical. Since I have signed a contracted agreement with Pla*B*y mag, for an interview on this, I can only reveal so much here.. hee hee.
