Hello Deshians...thank you s o much for your responses on the previous part. I am back with the 2nd chapter...let's peep into the story.

Dil Ko...Tera Intezar Hai
Part 2
Maan's and Juneja's reach Balraj's house. As soon as Prem entered the house his eyes again started searching for someone. Kulraj saw this and thought to tease his little brother.
Kulraj : Chachai Heer kaha hain...jaldi bulayiye na usko. Kisiki aankhen usko dekhne ke liye bekarar hai.
(Uncle where's Heer? Call her soon...someone is desperate to see her)
Everyone giggled at this and Prem bacme as red as tomato. Balraj told Meher to show everyone their rooms as they need to freshen up. After Meher came down Balraj stopped her and asked.
Balraj : Meher...Heer abhi tak nahi aayi. Tune bataya tha na ke 5 baje pahuchna hai...dekh abhi to 5.30 baj rahe hai.
(Meher.. Heer hasn't come yet. Didn't you tell her to reach at 5? See it's now 5.30 in the evening)
Meher stammered as she really didn't tell her. "Wo papaji...aap to jante hai na Ash di unko chhodte hi nhi. Shayad aj bhi unhone hi rok liya hoga. Par aap chinta mat kijiye...main abhi phone karke puchti hu".
(Actually papaji you know na...Ash di never leaves her. May be today also she has stopped Heer didi but you don't worry...I'll call her and ask), Meher replied.
Balraj nodded and went from there.
Meher(to herself) : Off hoo...ye Ash di bhi na. Kaha tha unse ke 5 baje Tak aa jana...par nhi. Chalo ab unko phone lagao.
(Off hoo this Ash di...I have already told her to reach at 5 but no...okk...let's call her).
Meher called Ash and she immediately picked it. Heer was sitting beside her so she started speaking in short words.
Meher : Hello Ash di.
Ash : Hello...haan haan bol. (yes yes...tell)
Meher : Aap log kahan ho? (Where are you both?)
Ash : Hum raaste mein hain...abhi pahuch jayenge.
(We are on our way...we'll reach soon)
Meher : Okk..jaldi aao...papaji puch rahe the.
(Okk..come soon...papaji was asking for you)
Ash : Ok...bye.
Meher :Bye.
7 in the Evening
Teji and Gayatri were at the nearby mandir. Meher, Veera and Kulraj were in the garden which was at the backside of the house talking about some random stuffs. Preet, Harman and Kiran jiju were not in home. They had gone to explore the evening town of Ambala. Balraj and Lalit were playing chess on the terrace.
So basically everyone were busy in their own work except Prem. He was taking a small nap. He just woke up and saw his surroundings. He remembered they had come to India to the Maan's house and suddenly he remembered that he hasn't meet Heer yet. He heaved a heavy sigh and came downstairs.
But suddenly the lights got off. He tried to call for someone but no response; as the girls were at the backside they didn't notice the power cut and Balraj and Lalit were too busy to hear any sound.
Prem thought that may be there's a power cut so he started to search for candles.
Prem(thinking) : Where are the candles...ufff...kitna andhera hai. Shayad kitchen mein ho.
(It's so dark here...may be candles are in the kitchen).
Thinking this he headed towards the kitchen. In the meantime Ash and Heer entered the house.
Heer : Are light ko kya ho gaya?
(What has happened to this light?)
Ash(laughs) : Lagta Hai phir se fuse udd gaya
(Seems the fuse has gone again).
Heer : Tu yehi khadi reh...hilna mat. Bohut andhera hai...main kitchen see candles lekar aati hu.
(You stand here... don't move...I am getting the candles from the kitchen).
She went to the kitchen but before she could search for the candles she bumped into something...or should I say someone.
"Ouchhh"...were the words that were left from both of their mouth.
They couldn't see each other as there was completely darkness. They could only hear each other's voice and feel themselves extremely close to each other.
Heer(rubbing her forehead) : Aee hey kaun ho tum aur yaha kya kar rahe ho?
(Hey who are you?...and what are you doing here?)
Prem(rubbing his chin) : Ye sawal to mujhe tumse puchna chahiye...iss ghar mein kya kar rahi ho tum...kya irada hai?
(I want to ask exactly the same question. Why are you in this house? What's your motive?).
Heer(angry) : Excuse me...tum hote kaun ho mujhse ye sawal karne wale?
(Who are you to ask me this?).
Prem(angry at the same time) : Tum aise nahi manogi...ruko main abhi police ko phone karta hu lekin usse pehle tumhara chehra to dekh lu.
(You won't listen like this...wait let me call the police but before that let me see you).
Prem lighted his lighter and at the same time the wind blew from the kitchen window making the flames of the lighter blew in Heer's direction. She covered her face because of the feeling of heat and Prem saw her in that position. slowly Heer removed her hands from her eyes, then from her face.
Prem was awestruck seeing the eyes first...the perfectly almond shapes eyes were the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen...the fear anger and the question in them making them more intense; and the when the full face came to his view, he felt himself speechless. He just admired her forgetting their argument and their closeness.
Heer also drowned in Prem's chocolate brown eyes...the handsome features of his had made her speechless for sometime but soon she came into senses and was about to shout but was interrupted by someone's voice.
"PB...PB...kaha ho aap"...(PB...where are you)...,came Preet's voice from the hall.
Preet, Harman and Kiran jiju had come back from their outing and Preet heard his PB's voice from some distance but as there were sheer darkness so he couldn't understand the direction.
Hearing Preet calling his name Prem immediately made some distance from Heer and answered Preet turning his head at the door. "Main yaha hu Preet kitchen mein". (I'm here Preet...in the kitchen).
Taking this opportunity Heer pushed Prem and escaped from there. She ran straight to the garden where the girls were supposed to be but they were not there. In this whole situation Heer forgot about Ash. She was about to shout her name but relieved hearing her voice from behind but got confused why she was speaking in whispers.
Heer turned to Ash who was standing behind her holding her phone.
Heer : Ash...kya hua...tu aise kyun baat kar rahi hai...aur tu yaha bahar kya kar rahi Hai??
(Ash what happened...why are you speaking like this...and what are you doing outside??)
Ash : Shhh...batati tu...(I'll tell you)...tu jab candles lene gayi to Mom ka phone aaya tha. Andar network nahi tha to main bahar aa gayi. Bas abhi wapas jane wali thi ke tabhi maine kitchen se kuch awazein suni. Heer di...mujhe lagta hai ghar mein chor ghus gaya hai..
(When you went to get the candles mom called me...as there were network issues so I came to outside but as soon as I finished my call and was going back I heard of some sounds from the kitchen. Heer di...I think some thieves has burged into the house).
Heer : Haa yar...mujhe bhi yehi laga. Main kitchen mein kisise takra gayi thi.
(I also felt the same...I bumped into someone in the kitchen).
Suddenly their conversation got disturbed when they found that the light has come. They decided to enter the house but from the back door which led them in the hall through the kitchen.
No sooner had they come in the kitchen did they see Teji and Gayatri. She call her mom.
Heer : Ma...kaha thi aap? (Mom where were you?)
Teji(smiled) : Are Heer puttar aa gayi tu...kahan reh gayi thi? Hum kabse intezar kar rahe the.
(Heer you have come...where have you been beta? We were waiting for you).
She smied and hugged her. Gayatri saw her future daughter-in-law and smiled. Heer saw a new person but didn't recognize so she asked her mother.
Heer : Ma ye kaun hain? (Mom who is she?)
Teji(excitedly) : Guess.
Heer thought for sometime but couldn't...she cast a pleading look to her mother.
Teji smiled..."Ye Teri Gayatri Chachi Hai...Lilit bhaisahab ki biwi aur Prem ki ma".
(She is your Gayatri aunty...Your Lalit uncle's wife and Prem's mother), Teji replied.
Though Heer didn't remember them but her ma papaji always told her about Lalit and family so from that she knew almost all of them. She smiled and took her blessings.
Gayatri : Jeeti raho beta. (God bless you my child).
Teji remembered something and asked Heer, "Beta tum dono peeche ke darwaze se kyun aayi...aur ye Ash kaha chali gayi?"
(Why did you both enter from the backside and where has this Ash gone?)
When Heer was talking to her mother Ash had gone into the hall to see if she found Meher.
Gayatri : Are bas bas...sab baate yehi karogi kya? Chalo hum hall mein chalte hain...sab aa gaye honge.
(Okk okk enough...will you ask everything in the kitchen itself? Let's go to the hall.. everyone might have come).
They three smiled and found Balraj sitting with some guests. Balraj saw Heer and hugged her. Then he introduced her to Lalit and his family except Prem Preet and Harman as they were in their room.
Teji : Heer...tune mere sawal ka jawab nahi diya. (Heer you didn't answer my question).
Heer remembered the reason the told them everything.
Lalit : To phir to humein jaldi se police ko phone karna chahiye.
(Then we should call the police).
Balraj : Are nahi...koi galatfaimi hui hogi.
(No need...may be there was some misunderstanding).
In the meantime Prem, Preet and Harman came downstairs. They greeted everyone...Balraj smiled.
Baltaj : Are aa gaye tum log...dekho kaun aaya hai beta.
(Ohh you have come...see who has come beta).
Balraj asked Heer to turn. Heer's back was facing Prem so they couldn't see each other.
As soon as Heer turned both screamed being shocked..."Tum!!!"
Balraj and Lalit were surprised. "Tum dono ek dusre ko jante ho?" (Do you know each other?)...both asked.
Heer replied first..."Ye wohi hai...kitchen wala...ruko main abhi police ko phone karti hu".
(He is the same man from the kitchen...wait I am calling the police).
Prem : Haan haan karo...unhe bhi to pata chala ke asli chor kaun hai.
(Yes off course...call the police...they should also know who is the real thief).
Everyone burst out into laughter including their fathers but Prem and Heer looked at them in utter confusion.
Prem : Bauji aap has kyun rahe hai? (Bauji why are you laughing).
Lalit(in between his laughs) : Kyunki subha se jisse milne k liye tu bekarar tha wo Tere saamne hai aur tu usko chor samajh raha hai...hahaha...Prem ye Heer hain.
(Because for whom you were waiting restlessly from morning she is in front of your eyes and you are thinking her as thief).
As realization hit his head he found himself so embarrassed. "She is Heer...the Heer and here he was...Ohh God! How foolish can he behave", he thought to himself.
Balraj : Haha...haa Heer putter ye Prem hain.
(He is Prem).
Both felt so embarrassed that they didn't look at each other. They bowed their head down and murmured a hello in a barely audible tone.
Preet(teased) : Waahhh PB! waqueyi kehna padega...aap dono ki pehli mulakat bohut hi filmy hai. Mujhe lagta hai shayad ye pehli baar hai jab koi apne hone wali biwi se is tarha mil raha hai.
(Wow PB! I must say your meeting was soo filmy. I think this the first time when anyone has met his would be wife like this.)
Here Prem was already so embarrassed and now this Preet was teasing him. He immediately made an excuse and fled from there. Heer also went to kitchen with the excuse of helping her mom to make dinner to escape the teasing session that, she knew, will soob be started by her sisters.
The dinner went quite well. Balraj introduced Ashlesha as his niece, his brother's daughter. The youngsters laughed and joked on various matters while the elders were busy in their own talks. In between this only two persons were extremely quiet and that was none other than our Premeer.
They stole glances at each other and only speaking in a word or two only when being asked...not a word more.
After dinner everyone decided that they will sit sometime and chitchat for sometime in the garden...the elders among themselves and the youngsters among themselves.
Heer was about to sit beside Meher but she stopped her.
Meher : Are yr!!! Main to bhul hi gayi...didi mere saath chaliye na...mujhe kuch kaam hai.
(Ohh shit!!! I totally forgot...didi plsss come with me...I have some work).
Kulraj : Are Meher abhi kya kaam..baad mein kar lena.
(Meher what work at this time...do it later.)
Meher : Bas chhota sa hai...hum abhi aate hai.
(It's a small work... we'll be right back).
Meher dragged Heer to the terrace. She pushed Heer on the terrace and fled from there.
Heer : Meher Meher...kaha jaa rahi hai...arre...kaam to bol.
(Meher...Meher...where are you going...at least tell my the work).
"Koi kaam nhi tha...use maine kaha tha tumhe yaha lane k liye", a voice came from behind.
(No work is there...I had told her to bring you here).
Heer turned and froze on her place. There was Prem standing with his hands in his pocket.
Done with this part...i just added Premmer lighter scene with a change...hope you find it worth reading...do read and comment and hit the like button also😃😃😃take care and bye.
