Yes I am advertising. ๐ So here is another song-fic using the song Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai from the movie Maine Dil Tujko Diya. Note: It is a ONE SHOT! ๐ Sorry to all the confused souls who were under the perception that the last song-fic was the begining of a fanfic. ๐
So this song-fic is dedicated to Radz di, Meera, Ravz and BD! ๐ค

Meher sighed. Another day gone. So different from her childhood days spent playing around with the kids of the neighbourhood, not having to worry about her responsibilities, staying up late to chat with Heer di. Now her days were spend gossiping with Kul di, Heer di and Maa in the kitchen, helping Bauji around the house and playing with her adorable nephews and neice, Tannu who bore a shocking resemblence to herself. Leaning over, she swept the counters, the last one to be up. As she wiped, she saw a glint on the surface. Frowning slightly, she leaned forward and caught another glimpse of the image, before it vanished, another figment of her imagination. Meher smiled to herself. That smile followed her everywhere.
Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baki
Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baki
Reaching her bedroom, she paused at the door before pushing it open to see Preet walking around the room, his shirt stuck around his forehead as he desperatly tried to yank it off. Walking around clumisaly, he bumped into the bed post, yelling at the top of his lungs for Meher. Stifiling her laughter, she ran towards him, instead of using his technique of yanking the shirt off, she gently started unbuttining the shirt, to slowly revel the face of her husband. First the eyes, twinkiling wildly at her, the long lean nose and then his lips - "There!" she said. Still laughing at her husband, Meher turned to go to the washroom leaving Preet to ruffle his har, embrassed at being caught at not being able to do a simple tast without her help.
Hum To Dil De Hi Chuke
Hum To Dil De Hi Chuke Bas Teri Haan Hai Baki
Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baki
Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baki
He sat on his bed, looking through a couple of files, preparing for a meeting the next day. So engrossed he was in his work, he didn't notice Meher come out. She leant against the wall, watching him work, his eyebrowns crinckled to meet in the middle. He had a spot in her life that was so special she was scared to admit it even existed. He had helped her, when everything seemed lost. Others guided her so she could stand on her own feet. But Preet had taken her hand and taken every one of her problems on his own head, stopping any trouble from the world reaching her. She now spent her days, tucked in a cacoon, away from the troubles that once evaded even her sleep. Smiling to herself, she crossed the room.
Kaun Sa Mod Aaya Zindagi Ke Safar Mein
Bas Gaya Tu Hi Tu Ab To Meri Nazar Mein
Dil Ki Har Ek Dhadkan Tujhko Pehchaanti Hai
Meri Chaahat Hai Ab Kya Tu Nahin Jaanti Hai
Main Tuhje Jaan Gayi Tujhko Pehchaan Gayi
Phir Bhi Teri Haan Hai Baki
Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baki
Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baki
Preet, still looking down at his paperwork, he smiled. He could hear her walking across the room to shut the window so the wind that was bugging him would cease. He didn't even have to ask. They just fit. Simple as that. Words were not needed in their relationship, they just thought as one, something he had never experinced with any other girl. Raising his head, he watched her face the mirrior, and gently take out her earring, then her necklace and lay them gently on the dresser. Next she shook her hands free of all her bangles. Sighing, she leaned back, pulling out her braid, causing her hair to tumble down her back, shaking loose, her hair now slighly curled from being knotted all day. She turned around. Quickly, Preet looked back down, pretending he was gathering up his work, smiling to himself. He thought to himself; "There is nothing as beautiful as woman when she does not know she is being watched."
Aaj Yeh Kya Hua Hai Dil Nahin Mera Bas Mein
Is Liye Sochti Hoon Tod Doon Sari Rasme
Umr Bhar Ke Liye Tu Aa Mera Saath De De
Tera Ho Jaaonga Main Haathon Mein Haath De De
Haathon Mein Haath Sahi Tu Mere Saath Hi Sahi
Phir Bhi Teri Haan Hai Baki
Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai Thoda Hai Baki
He pushed the papers under the bed, as Meher herself got in. Both turned to shut the lights off, and then both got deep under the covers. Although both were convinved they were 'just friends' neither questioned the fact that both still slept on the same bed. Granted, Preet had tried sleeping on the couch but Meher had insisted, saying it was not fair. Careful to stay on their 'sides' both mumbled a barly audible "Goodnight."
