yes their 20 years of married life is worth emulating...separation, ram marrying her sis-in-law, priya going into coma, ram on the verge of marrying second time (i dunno if he actually married that lady since i dont watch the show)...i hope saachi-DV will buy enuf cottons to fill their ears...

Saachi and Aaji disappointed me. Saachi asking DV if he expected her to do meeti meeti batein was shocking and it shows how little she has understood the man she loves. Still considers DV as a kid even though he has proved many times that he is more mature than her when the situation arises. She is totally drowned in her own world that she fails to see that DV is equally if not more hurt than her in this issue. Even his character and motive were questioned but he did not break down like her. He is ready to face the world bravely and fight for her and their love. I expected Saachi to think about the whole situation from both sides and include DV in dealing with family and society. Hold his hand and stand by him...She cannot jus like that return the ring and break up 😕

Like you said Anu, Aaji's arguments were quite hollow. How can her grand daughter falling in love with a boy younger to her be more painful than losing her beta-bahu 😕😕 Why give so much importance to Ulka's words. Saachi was silent when Ulka was barking but Aaaji is the senior member of the family she can always tell Ulka - ok u have told us whatever u wanted to tell now get lost and let us deal with our daughter. exactly my point...there r several options open to deal with the situation...one is holding DV's hand and together tackling the situation...or else letting him handle alone if she is so hyper and also because he has proved his capability of managing situations so many times...but she chose the easy way out...return the ring...throw DV from her life and continue living as if nothing has hapend...if nothing else then that will shut up ulka and calm down aji...who cares if in this way DV's heart gets broken...
and aji nani will be back to sitting and chatting all day and thinking how saachi is superbly managing family and office and also worrying all the time her age is running but she has no husband in her life...
then one day desperately they will marry her to a widower/divorcee 20 years her senior with a bunch of kids...that way they will be happy...ulka will be happy...so called society will be happy...
