😃 🤗 Anu!

You have no idea how happy I was to see this new post of yours! I've skimmed the discussions in here so far - and I'm REALLY looking forward to watching the episode! Is that odd? 🤔 I know that there will be some fantastic performances all throughout this phase of turmoil...can't miss that, can I?

I will join you all in discussions later, but I just want to say this now: LOVED the things that you said, here and in other threads, about this phase being a study in perception...about the challenges that come with love and adjustment of one's inherent nature...It will take time, it is not easy to sustain a relationship...I think it's necessary to show this, and I'm glad they're doing so instead of glossing over it, no matter how painful it may be. I'm intrigued to see how things will be handled from here. The stage is being set now and I'm not leaving yet!

Aww🤗...I have a feeling you'll have a lot to say on the epi too :-) Some poignant stuff today despite the rest of the sadness.

I guess I've been in a philosophical mood today...lol...trying to analyze this situation from all sides...Saachi's perspective may not be ideal...but it's realistic...we all want to watch ppl happy in love or ideally fighting for their love against all odds...these are things that we like to root for as audiences...but to me as of now, Saachi is coming across as but human...in the way she is broken over her family's reactions, in the way she is still unable to give DV credit in handling situations maturely, in the way she chooses to push him away...these are her character traits that may not be ideal but they make her human...somewhere this also brings out more pathos...ofcourse I do want to see Saachi valuing DV more in time...and I hope that will happen...but this first hurdle about convincing her own family...I can give Saachi this leeway regarding her reaction...the fact that DV understands and loves her despite her always chickening out on him speaks volumes about his maturity too...again something that Saachi doesn't give him enough credit for.

wat a joke coming from aji nani...

Yes that was just ridiculous...and poor DV...he actually thought that Aaji-Naani like him and want a good man for Saachi so ultimately they will accept him...who knew that their definition of "good rishtas" were aged divorcees😕

LOL JLZ deffo seems to have a good online fan-following given the way Sony has started to promote it more on YT and now a mahaepisode as well...I guess after Ram-Priya, DV-Saachi are the famous romantic pair on Sony so they are cashing in😆

@bold: as shallow as it might sound- let them cash in as much as they want-coz I want this show to be around and the story be told their way!

She is NOT thinking abt herself, DV or their love-all she's worried abt is how aaji-naani will take this news. They are her family, whose acceptance is most important for her-more than DV and his love. And honestly, after listening to Ulka's filth any self respecting girl would be worried abt the family's reaction-and more importantly wonder if this love is worth it!

So I don't think its a personal remark on DV when she snaps at him-she's just too preoccupied trying to figure out how to solve this issue more than anything else.

i guess saachi is not wrong in her own place...but wat i find so disturbing is that saachi is taking DV's love for granted in all this...i understand very much that family is more important to her and i wont be surprised if she chooses family over DV...if that happens i wont actually blame saachi because she is like that only...especially at a mature age like 35 love is not like jeena yaha marna yaha kind of thing if family is not supportive...

but the way she is treating DV is wat is seeming not rite to me...she is not even gving him a chance...not receiving his calls...not letting him come near her so that they talk the matter over...and upar se saying that he called for sweet talks...how can she think that...i mean wen i see it this way...saachi herself is worried like hell and romance is totally out of her mind now...then how can she think DV is all romantic even now...i mean that is not only immature but insensitive too of DV if he is actually not taking the issue seriously as per saachi's thinking...

yes ulka comments are too harsh and too vulgar for her to think rationally...but still this situation needs to be handled tog...and wen DV is willing to help and not like "tumhari family hai tum tackle karo"...so saachi shud consider that too...

even then i wud hv excused saachi's treatment of DV as spur of the moment reaction...but gving away the ring (if it actually happens) is just not rite...

@bold: she is returning the ring-that was the precap-which I think is completely in line. Especially if you worry abt taking his love for granted. Now that she is convinced this relationship won't work out coz the family is opposed-then its not right to keep the guy hanging-no?

Well in Gul Khan shows, girls don't have brains beyond hyperventilating over being "hawtly" cornered every two seconds so I can't speak for what reasons they have for returning rings🥱🥱

Saachi's reasons are more realistic and understandable.

i wonder wat has really gone wrong...i mean y r aji nani behaving this way...is it only because ulka talked crap...i mean do they really believe saachi was getting physical with DV...or r they behaving this way because DV in their words in not rite for saachi...or is it because DV is younger so society wont accept...

the reason i am wondering this is because in the third episode aji nani was very much happy with DV as saachi's prospective groom even though they were totally aware that he is younger than her...i mean nani first told aji in the kitchen that this guy luks younger than saachi...that time aji said some guys luk younger but wen she saw him even she agreed that he is younger than saachi...but still they were ok with it...
y so...just because ulka brought that rishtaa...i mean do they really think ulka is the rite person to judge who is rite for saachi and who not...

ridiculous really...i cant relate this aji nani with the aji nani of earlier episodes who seemed not so prejudiced...especially nani...

"Poignant" is a very good word to hear today! I'll be back with my list later in the day - as usual!

@bold: *sigh* Word. That's how I feel about Saachi, too...She is but human, not superwoman...We've seen how much people look up to Saachi as if she's the ultimate role model, always going out of her way to help/protect others at the expense of her own desires and happiness sometimes, and I feel like they took that for granted. She is brave and strong, but there are some things she hasn't faced in life...and now that she's encountered something she never expected to ever face, now that it has turned from a sweet dream into a nightmare in the blink of an eye, I can't fault her for reacting like this. There's room for growth and development, of course, and I'm looking forward to that. I'm also trying to see the situation from various perspectives, and it will be fascinating to see how things change from this point forward. If I can understand Ulka's terrible reaction given what we know about her nature and dogmatism, if I can feel for both Saachi AND DV right now...I'd say I'm in a good place as a viewer because I know that my heart will ache for DV-Saachi and I naturally will be hoping for them to find their way out of this maze of hurdles together...

@Sam: Not going anywhere for a while! 😃 Ah, that DP! Thank you! 😆 And about the "cashing in" on the jodi of Dhruv-Saachi...Yeah, I'm not complaining, either! 😉 😆 I can actually have access to the YT stuff when they post videos...most of them! Hooray for a mahaepisode - I wonder how things will have progressed by then...

And on that note, I'm off! Will catch you all later!
