Oh, look! This thread is somewhat active again! I thought everyone had disappeared...
I just realized that I still haven't updated my post from Nov 26th...In any case, last week was busy for me and when I managed to finally watch Wednesday and Thursday's episodes over the weekend, I actually really liked Wednesday's one...Sangeeta and Ruslaan both broke my heart into pieces - I especially loved the way Saachi's broken, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." mirrored her earlier outpourings of "I love you...I love you..."

And Thursday's episode was okay. I honestly only got through it (cold shoulder treatment and P/P awfulness included) because of Sangeeta's acting. It's because of her that I feel so bad for Saachi, even when my heart aches for poor DV...Saachi is trying to push DV away but it's tearing her apart to do so...Sangeeta brings that anguish out so well in the smallest of ways. And Ruslaan is so, so good at conveying DV's pain through his eyes...In those two episodes, there were two stand-out scenes for me: the office scene and the interactions between DV-Saachi when DV was standing outside Prabhu Niwas and Saachi came out onto the balcony.

As for this week...I'm not super excited about the episodes per se, but I'm ready to see if there are hidden gems in there somewhere. Oh, and that news about Ruslaan's film - he's apparently finishing it up now because he'd signed it before he got JLZ. I hope we won't have too much trouble with storyline changes...Hopefully he can keep shooting for that film near the JLZ sets.

Heya Borna! LOL I dunno about others but I was pretty busy with Thanksgiving week related family stuff so I didn't really have much time and on top of that less motivation to watch what was basically a depressing week.

But I also liked Wednesday's epi...the ring returning scene was a very sad one...felt so bad for both of them...Saachi's so broken and DV bechara is taking on blow for blow even though it's hurting him so deeply...WORD about Sangeeta bringing out the anguish SO well...I think she's the only reason I can watch all these crying scenes of Saachi...cuz she does them SO well that she makes even the ludicrous somewhat believable and you feel for her character...her predicament, her pain.

I made a post for today's epi...there were deffo some hidden gems as you call them😆

Hey hey, Anu! 🤗

Yeah, same here - I was busy with Thanksgiving and also didn't have the motivation or time to watch the two episodes on Friday because I thought they'd put me into depression and I didn't need that on a Friday 😆 But when I actually sat down to watch them (because I am addicted to SG-RM's chemistry like that...) I ended up shedding tears because of Sangeeta and Ruslaan. I was prepared to see DV's pain, given the state of the forum...but Saachi's anguish really got through to me in a way that I certainly had not been expecting - and I loved that. I keep thinking to myself, "Is it odd that I'm not really minding the depressing turn that this story has taken for two weeks?" If nothing else, I know that we'll get fantastic performances to watch from our lead pair...WORD times infinity to the parts in bold! I don't know how she does that...but the way she brings out those emotions and the turmoil that Saachi is feeling with such genuinely believable conviction...I feel compelled to watch her because she brings out different shades of sadness, different facets of Saachi's personality...and it drains me emotionally, watching her, because I feel for Saachi, and I feel with her, too. It started with the ill-timed revelation and continues this week as well, it seems. Continuously floored by this woman's acting prowess and I don't think that will ever end! *sigh* And serious kudos to Ruslaan for matching Sangeeta every step of the way! The way he complements her with his own performance...Well, I think I can elaborate on this and edit my post on page 1 of this thread with my "nuances I liked" for the whole week...Will do that later on!

Hidden gems - sounds good to me! 😉 😆 Maybe they will tide me through the rest of the week...Hoping for more good moments along the way, though. Let's see how it goes.
