I completely agree with what you said about opposite temperaments complementing each other given the philosophies are the same. Yes, Misha wouldn't have had a pefect life as Michi in love (well, it's a different matter that Michi have other problems) but I think if they continued to love/care for each other so passionately they still would have made it. Not all couples are lucky to get a complementing partner right?
A Neesha story would have been possible if Ayesha was to accept Neev and it would have been an equally interesting story as Michi's.
But the way Ayesha came accross was she for once didn't consider Neev as her lover/husband unlike Prachi who was Milind's wife from the day one of their wedding fulfilling her responsibilities.
A lip kiss- Well I too think it's something to be shared only between lovers. And I do give Ayesha a lover's status here with her dying for her lover's happiness and her accepting his wishes (that of moving on with Prachi). And I have said before the reasons why Milind was kissing her.
And the kiss was to pay respect to Misha's relationship and Ayesha's soul.
