Damn it, I can't tolerate this ghost of Ayesha. It's a shame to realize that Milind was once in love with this lusty despo soul.
At the same time I feel deeply sad for Ayesha's character yet again. It's Milind she craved for always, but he is not her cup of tea. I thought of writing down a scene that would have had things in a different light (the dialogues are in Hindi but I have translated them in the end).
This scene is in Mallika's farmhouse. Mallika has stabbed Ayesha and fled. After a while, Milind has gained consciousness. He sees blood around and wonders what has happened.
Milind is trying to make sense of where he is and what has happened. He calls out for Mallika only to find her nowhere. He finds a line of blood staining the floor, follows it along, which takes him out of the house, down the steps in the front of the house. He halts there as he finds a woman lying on the floor, walks near her to help her but now he is shell shocked, as he seems to recognize her.
"Ayesha, Kya ho gaya terey ko?" Ayesha, what happened to you? Milind runs towards her, tries to make her stand up. Blood oozing out of her abdomen stains his hands while he tries to lift her.
"Milind" Ayesha whimpers. "Rehne dey. Meraa aakhri waqt aa gayaa hain. Main in palon ko terey saath guzaarna chaahti hoon. Tu merey paas rahe." Leave it. My last moment has come. I want to spend this moment with you. Please be here with me.
"Ayesha, main doctor ko.. kuch nahi hoga terey ko. Main tujhe marne nahi doonga" Ayesha, I will call the doctor.....Nothing will happen to you. I won't let you die. Milind tries to find his mobile but it's missing as he has left it inside the house.
"Nahi rey, main nahi bachungi. Tu meri aakhri ichcha poora nahi kareyga? Main terey baahon mein marna chaahti hoon." No dear. I won't survive. Do you not want to fulfill my last desire? I want to die in your arms. Ayesha gasps.
"Ayesha" Milind sits by her and hugs her head into his chest.
"Milind, main khush hoon key main kabhi terey kaam aayi. Woh Mallika tujhe behosh karke teraa fayda uthaana chahti thi. Jab maine use rokne ki koshish ki toh usne mujhe chakku'" Milind, I am happy that I was of some help to you. That Mallika was trying to take advantage of you by making you unconscious. "Tu ro rahaa hain? Tu kabhi nahi royega. Tujhe pataa hain, main kitna khush hoon? Is zindagi mein tu kabhi meraa nahi ho sakta tha. Aur terey bina meri zindagi kabhi zindagi nahi, par sazaa thi. Aaj meri sazaa maaf hui hain." Are you crying? You should never cry. Do you know, how happy am I? You couldn't have been mine in this life. And this life without you, was a punishment. Today my punishment ended. Tears flow out of Ayesha's eyes too.
"Ayesha, tu meri ek hissa hain. Tu mujhe chorke mat jaa"Ayesha, you are a part of me. Please don't go away leaving me. Milind weeps like a baby.
"Milind, hamaara saath yahaan tak hi tha. Teri duniya Prachi ke saath hain. Tu khush rahe. Teri kabhi beti hui na, uska naam Ayesha rakhna. Meri dua terey saath raheygi hamesha. Teraa pyar, terey saath guzaare hue chaar pal meri zindagi ki sabse haseen pal the. Maine sirf terey se pyar kiya hain Milind." Milind, it was all meant only until here. Your world is in Prachi. "Ayesha" Milind screams her name looking at the skies. Ayesha's soul smiles hearing her name as she leaves her love forever.
This way, I guess, Ayesha's soul would have reached heaven to rest in peace. And Michi world wouldn't have been haunted by her. Alas!!
